Ah, so that's what happened to poor little Eaglekit.  That's so sad... And I still feel sad for Gorsepaw. And now we know he had littermates. Poor Morningflower, to lose her mate and all three of her kits. Also I just looked Cloudrunner up and it turns out he was the mentor to Morningflower's father, Stagleap. Well, it's nice to know how Cloudrunner died I suppose. We only know of one other WC cat who died in that battle. I don't remember his name, but I do remember that both he and his sister were new warriors. The warriors you're talking about are Stoneclaw and his sister Thrushwing. |

why does everyone hate the name Elderkit duh I don't get why you're saying duh. And I don't think it's not that people hate it, it's just a little weird and even a little amusing that there's a cat named Elderkit when there's already a rank in the Clan's system called elder. Lol okay, sorry for saying "duh" then lol |

Okay that doesn't make any sense. Why would Tallstar mention that three kits were born at the gathering if two of them were stillborn? They would have already been dead. There are such things a diseases and other things to kill kits.
I do think the names of his littermates are cute but honestly why Tallstar mention that Ashfoot gave birth to three kits and that they were doing well when two were dead when they were born.

I think its a way of honoring the memory of the kits; if he went to the Gathering and announced only one kit, then it would be like he was pretending that the other two didn't exist.

Well his words were "Ashfoot has a new litter of three kits." But even then the appropriated words should have been Ashfoot had a new litter of three kits.

For those who are asking about Downkit, it could be that the kit had fur that seemed like feathers.
