Similar to what I posted about character patterns, there are also general population patterns we see happen in every arc.
There are as follows:
Beginning of arc:
-Several litters that are older then POV litter/character(s)
-Recent deaths before start of arc
-one litter that is slightly younger than POV litter*
-one litter born just after start of arc and remain in nursery for most of arc*
-no death on screen
Middle of arc:
-Normally no litters born, occasionally one is born
-No death
-POV litter earns full names
-All apprentices earn full names just before POV litter
-Occasionally younger litter is apprenticed
End of arc:
-Many new litters
-Lots of death
-Major change in Clan (New leader/deputy, important warriors retire)
*Only one occurs, they don't both normally happen in same arc
I will not be going through arc by arc since that would take forever to type. (If someone would be willing to do it for me, I could copy and paste it into my OP and give them credit for it.)
I will end with this. Despite the increased speed, we are seeing the same patterns in AVS. We have a litter that is slightly younger than the POV litter (Leaf, Lark, and Honey) and they would normally be apprenticed in book 5. Alder and Spark would earn their names in DN and Book 5 respectively. So far we don't have a kit explosion, but there is still plenty of time for that. Given the increased speed, we would have the explosion starting in SS and DN.
