So, since Brightflower and Lilywhisker went to the Dark Forest for apparantly being hateful and bitter even though they had good reasons, Brightflower was alive when it was revealed that Brokenstar killed her kits, and Lilywhisker seemed like a generally kind cat in her appearance in TR, then I guess every cat should go to the Dark Forest in that case since almost every cat has felt negativity at least once in their lives, even Firestar. And yet cats who have actually committed crimes with no remorse get into StarClan *coughAshfurcough* This is logic, everyone!
Apparantly cats aren't allowed to feel negativity anymore. Sure, never mind the fact that Brightflower was an old cat who lost her second and last litter to a grandson she didn't even know she had who accused her medicine cat of a daughter of murder and was likely brainwashed like the rest of the Clan by this point as well. She had hate in her heart so she deserves the Dark Forest even though she really didn't do anything wrong!
And let's just forget that Lilywhisker was crippled at a young age and was confined to become an elder very early. She was bitter about this even though there was never even a tiny hint of this in TR, but that doesn't matter because she should've moved on from it long ago. To the Dark Forest with her too!
And just for fun, what do you think Blizzardwing, Deerfoot, Marshcloud, Stumpytail, and Tangleburr did to get into the Dark Forest?
Clearly Tangleburr and Stumpytail went to the Dark Forest for following Brokenstar even though they still felt loyalty to ShadowClan, Stumpytail wasn't even one of the original rogues, and other cats followed Brokenstar as well.
Blizzardwing went to the Dark Forest for stealing Featherstorm away from Hal. How dare he!
Deerfoot went to the Dark Forest because he's Lizardstripe's son and Tangleburr's brother, so naturally he was mean to everyone, especially after his sister was driven out.
Marshcloud went to the Dark Forest for trying to steal Cedarpelt's identity.
They're all so evil and got what they deserved!
But seriously, why these cats specifically? It makes no sense.

I know what Blizzardtail did! He lashed his tail angrily once because Shrewpaw(claw) was boasting about WindClan! Oh and while he was fighting against WindClan, he ripped a few of Tallstar's whiskers out. See, he obviously(?) deserved to go to the Df after those events.
Seriously though, what did he do exactly? Same with Marshcloud who wasn't really in the book.

And I agree. These cats never did anything! Unless they followed Scourge and BloodClan. Don't forget, Boulder stated that some cats decided to join BloodClan instead of fight against them. Jaggedtooth (who I'm pretty sure never believed in StarClan) was one of them. But it never said who the others were...

Yeah, I don't really get why they'd deserve to go to the DF, unless they did something horrible during this period of negativity.
But even then:
Ivypool had like the grossest jealousy issue w/ Dovewing, and trained w/ the DF sincerely for a while
Lionblaze, too, trained w/ Tigerstar sincerely for a good while
Don't even get me started on Hollyleaf
And those are only the cats off the top of my mind.
And we all know where Onestar's heading soon. lolol
I feel like it's all just plot holes that the Erins just don't care about, though, so I'm sure that it's nothing too big to worry ourselves over.

Don't use plot holes as a garbage excuse, the Erin's have a full idea what what moronic actions they're putting out. They clearly know who they're puting into the dark forest, and at this point, everyone could see clearly that the dark forest logic is clearly full of crap. What's the point of jail or prison if anyone could be tossed in there for literally no reason. While actual criminals are out roaming the earth freely. The latest confirmation made it clear that the dark forest is completely pointless and stupid, because anyone could be tossed in there for nothing. Makes The Dark Forest look like its full of people who aren't even evil. |

While I understand the Erin's trying to fill the Df with cats we might actually know since pretty much all of them are unknown, randomly picking a bunch of cats is not the way to do it. For one, the excuses for why they're there is just ...wow. Secondly, I feel like they picked too many within the same time period. We already had Tigerstar, Darkstripe and Brokenstar from the OS sort of gen, and then they go pick a bunch of cats from around the same time period (who never really appeared or did anything to suggest they're bad). |

So, Ashfur, the one who attempted to traumatize and murder three adolescents gets into StarClan, but Lilywhisker and Brightflower go to the DF for being (rightfully) bitter? Wth?
Going by this, Brightflower would've gone to the DF either way. She apparently went to the DF solely for being upset over the loss of her children.
...
Brightflower also would've been sent there if she didn't care about their deaths, since that would mark her as heartless. What gives, Erins?

I haven't read TR but I just read her whole wiki page thing and she seems like a sweet cat. But no she goes to cat hell because she was crippled and sad about not being able to help her clan :/ reminds me of Briarlight tbh. I guess she's going to the dark forest too |
