So basically: no powers, no dead cats having physical contact with the living, all that magical stuff.
How would the series go without all of that? Would it be boring or more realistic?

It would be a lot better.
Without StarClan dictating every little move, the characters would actually have to think for themselves.

Better. I lost intrest when all the magic came in. I was fine with Starclan and the Darkforest but I think the Erin's took it a little too far in my opinion. I still love their writing and I known some people loved the magic but I think that I would've enjoyed the series better if it hadn't stretched further than having an afterlife.

It was stretched a bit, and the whole Starclan thing was fine for the first two archs, then it got a bit too much for me. I don't even want to mention the Dark Forest. I get the concept yes, but dead dark cats come back to kill all the living cats? it didn't appeal too much to me.

Depends if dreams and prophecies from StarClan are considered magic. If so then there probably wouldn't even be a series as Bluestar probably wouldn't have let Firestar in.
If not, then Tawnypelt would have died of a rat bite because Squirrelflight wouldn't have known about the burdock root, but the whole battle with the Dark Forest wouldn't have happened, so many more cats would still be alive.

I don't think dreams from your ancestors are magic...Prophecies aren't magic either, but im not sure how future telling works for the spirits of ancestors.

There'd be no series because time travel started the Clans and the Tribes. But I'm thinking too much about it. I'd say the "no fighting" rule at Gatherings would be harder to maintain. And even without prophecies and omens I'd like to think they would be superstitious.

Big question: IS TIME TRAVEL MAGIC OR SCIENCE? *illuminati music*

I do find it interesting when the dark forest train the cats. It would have fun to see them actually turning cats on there clanmates. But I don't how I should feel about them coming to the real world.

They should stay dead not resurrect and go try to murder everyone. just saying

The plot would've been altered significantly.
For instance, the Three would never have existed in the modern Clans, because they are technically reincarnations. On that note, the Clans wouldn't exist, because Jayfeather wouldn't have traveled back in time as Jay's Wing to form the tribe (and indirectly, the Clans).
