I spent pretty much my entire childhood on the original WCF. I was in rp groups, clans, discussion threads, all kinds of things in all different forums! My username was Faunastar there too, and what I'd probably be best remembered for is the Gakuen Hetalia group that led to the banning of discussing Hetalia and probably all anime. Basically we were getting in some fights with another rp group over copying character design, politically charged OCs... etc, and the moderators interpreted it as a discussion about Nazism, even though I'm not quite sure it ever really got to that level? There were some people in the group who I could imagine acting that way, but I didn't personally witness it. Regardless, our accounts all got suspended a whole lot, due to the fact of how poorly managed the userbase was, as we are all probably well aware.
I'm not exactly surprised that they ended up shutting it down, even though I'm a fair bit disappointed (all my faunastar fanfiction I wrote when I was twleve was archived there
). But I do think that the fact that this place exists is amazing! It's really incredible that the WCF community has been cohesive enough to plot out their own home and remain a community, even without the original boards! I mean, when I first saw this page, I was browsing through the forums, expecting to see, like, "most recent post: february 2015", but then I saw they all said "Yesterday" and I'm like !!!! "You're alive!!!"! This is so cool.
I don't know if anyone remembers me from Gakuen Hetalia, or even Warrior's World, but... here I am! I've been doing a lot of skype and tumblr roleplaying in recent years, and working on art. My art has gotten so much better since I was last here and I'm working with adobe photoshop now so I'll probably take art requests to get some practice drawing cats lol. I don't remember ANY of the plot of the warriors books unfortunately, but it'll probably come back.
