It's been two moons since the hunting trip. However, despite the abundance of greenleaf prey, many cats haven't been feeling well. It seems like an ordinary sickness, with a fever and all, but something seems off. In fact, each of your clan leaders has called you to the island...

The cats that arrived could see each of the Clan leaders- except for the ShadowClan leader, Wolfstar. Those from ShadowClan would know that she had been rather ill lately. The WindClan leader, Spottedstar, smiles at Leafheart as they arrive.

Leafheart looked around the island as she waited. She noticed Spottedstar smiling at her, and she dipped her head in greeting to the WindClan leader. She turned to Icefeather as the warrior sat beside her. "Hey Icefeather." Leafheart meowed.

Fennelnose quietly slipped onto the island, troubled by the fact his leader was too ill to arrive. He gave the other leaders a cold yet desperate glare-- what were they planning to do?

Flarefur claws dug into the wet bark as she crossed the log and jumped down on the other side grateful to be on solid land again. "sorry, Am I late?" Flarefur asks padding into the clearing, seeing her leader had gotten there before her.

"No, you're fine," Spottedstar purred, her tail twitching.
Oakstar nodded. "Let's begin, then. I'm sure you've all heard of this sickness going around, right? According to our medicine cats, it has a simple cure- feverfew. Since the affected cats' condition worsens quickly, this is good news. Unfortunately, our feverfew stocks aren't sufficient due to the new-leaf drought, which is why we called you here. A StarClan warrior said that you might know where it could be... Snowstep, I think it was?"
Snowstep. That cat from your time as kits. She had told everyone about that place to the north...

That was a StarClan warrior? As Icefeather grew up she had assumed the starry she-cat was merely a dream. She racked her brain for anything else she could remember... something about a hill...

Fennelnose narrowed his eyes, thinking hard on what he'd been told as a young kit. It was so long ago, and he'd passed it off as a cool dream and a new imaginary friend so he didn't retain much of the message. He sighed, then spoke up. "I remember her mentioning a hill... somewhere to the north of the clan territory. That's all I can remember. I don't know if the others--" he motioned with a flick of the tail, "-- if they know much else."

"it was so long ago that I don't remember much, but, i do remember her mentioning a hill...but that's it." Flarefur says honestly, before adding looking at the ground in front of her. "we were all kits back then...I wouldn't be surprised if most of us passed it off as a strange dream..."

Fennelnose twitched his tail in anticipation. He wasn't scared-- well, he wouldn't admit to it-- but he still knew there was a good amount of preparation needed. Traveling herbs... Maybe some cobwebs in case we get attacked...
Other than those few things, he was at a loss of what to do. He had no idea what hill he needed to go to, no idea how far north they'd need to travel, what dangers may be lurking out of the territory, how much feverfew was left...

Within two days, everyone was prepared for the journey. It took them across the forests and thunderpaths, until they reached a twoleg den near a hill. Two streams ran down either side, as if the hill itself was crying. However, nearby, there was a pair of amber eyes watching them from the den...

Fennelnose's fur bristled as he noticed that his herb gathering party was being watched. Without a word to the others, he whipped around to face the stranger amber gaze. His claws dug into the ground below-- it was obvious the ShadowClan cat would not allow for any kittypet to interfere in this dire quest.

Flarefur noticed fennelnose actions and followed his gaze to the pair of amber eyes, her bristled slightly, but she wasn't sure if they were just hiding from captiousness or to ambush them.
