History
Blizzardclan was founded by Mince, a once kittypet who was rejected from joining a clan himself and resorted to the barren, snowy tundras that are now Blizzardclan territory. Mince gathered cats that were willing to live in the harsh environment and able to get their paws wet if needed. Blizzardclan learned how to catch fish from Creekclan cats who they were allies with at the time. Although no longer allies, Blizzardclan can still fish and swim as well as Creekclan. Blizzard had a strong resentment of the other clans, especially Flightclan as it was their founder who rejected him. Many times; like the neighbouring Swiftclan, did he start wars with them. Blizzard died in the shadowy depths of the ocean and legend states that if one swam deep enough, they would find his spirit, forever wandering the deep abyss. He was succeeded by Tundrastar, his nephew who only reigned for a short time because back then; leaders did not receive nine lives.
Mistystar was the first leader to receive nine lives and died four times of injury, three of greencough, one of drowning and her last one of a strange sickness that the medicine cat couldn't identify.
Many more leaders came and went before Jetstar, a former Creekclan cat became leader of this mighty clan.
Territory
Blizzardclan territory is a large snowy tundra with the north half being a layer of thick ice that can thin out in green-leaf which means cats may drown from being pulled out by the dastardly strong tide. Leopard Seals, Orcas, and Narwhals are also dangers in Green-leaf, able to break through the thin sheet of ice for a tasty feline meal. North east of the territory lies huge icebergs as tall as the mountains in Cliffclan, this is where Apprentices learn to climb. In Green-leaf the ice-bergs sometimes break and crash into the ocean causing tsunamis, although this is very rare and have never happened in uncountable moons. Elders tell tales of these although they have never seen them. Blizzardclan has one large pool which never freezes over called 'the ice drop' which is where they drop traitors and such. The snow is so thick that sometimes even the tallest warriors can't see over it and the cat's tunnel through the snow, hoping that their passageway won't collapse. Rget border Flightclan and Swiftclan, along with a small peice of Creekclan territory far south, where the snow doesn't reach. An ancient rule was agreed by the leaders bordering Blizzardclan stating that where teh snow ends, Blizzardclan territory ends. Only Creekclan do not abide by this rule. Due to this restraint, Blizzardclan often push the snow further onto the border so they gain more territory.
Camp
The camp is located under one of the icebergs where the ice is so thick that it would never break. An overhang covers the camp that can also be used as a bridge to climb up onto the icebergs. The camp is often slippy, making cats slide about alot and kits end up with a twisted paw or such. The leader's den is a hole under an Orca skeleton which has always been there. Most dens are made of bones which means they get few visitors that want to say. A narwhal horn that sticks out of the ice is where the leader leaps upon to call meetings. The warriors den is next to the leader's and is a large cave with a leaopard seal frozen still in ice in the walls. Icicles hang form teh roof, and the walls are completely ice. It is extremely pretty inside and many new warriors gaze in awe at the alive-looking leopard seal in the den wall. The Apprentice's den is next to the warrior's den, being made from a small snow cave with polar bear fur on the roof to stop it from dripping and soaking all the apprentices, at sunrise, the back of the den glistens beautifully. The Nursery is then next to the apprentice's den which is a tunnel with an orca skull at the emtrance where you climb through to enter, there is a hole in the roof of the den, making it bright and providing an escape route. It is covered in a sheet of Polar bear fur when it rains. The Elder's den is a log which has been hollowed out, brought from far south of the territory where a small cluster of pine trees are. The outside of the den is white, being covered in frost. The final den is the medicine den which is inbetween teh elder's and the leader's. It is the rest of the narwhal carcass, the tail and such and has a hole covered in seal skin where the medicine cat keeps their herbs. The sick cats sleep in a snow hole a short walk from the camp so that the sickness doesn't spread to the more healthy cats. In the middle of camp is the fresh-kill pile which is often empty.

Clan characteristics
Blizzardclan cats have long/thick fur and pale pelts, to help them survive in the snowy tundra, their claws don't snap easily and they are sure footed and clever. Blizzardclan hate intruders but will happily let nearly anyone join the clan. Blizzardclan dislike other clans in general and always see themselves as 'better.' In this clan, there is no such thing as a 'fully black' cat. Jetstar is an exception since she comes from Creekclan and finds hunting hard, making her resort to fishing.
