Thunderclan: clan of main characters and cliches Shadowclan: usually the stereotypical "bad guys" Windclan: once nice and bland, but are now a clan of thieves and aggressiveness Riverclan: doesnt do anything and literally had no drama outside of the first series with grayxsilver and leopardstar joining with tigerstar

Honestly I like RiverClan the most and their lack of intense drama might be one of the reasons why. They get to chill, just how I like it.

This is why River is the best clan.
And even with Silver's kits, they were willing to fight for them in a heartbeat.
And Leopardstar made up for her mistakes more than once.

RiverClan and SkyClan have always been my favorite. I guess mostly because they're a lot like ThunderClan in many ways, but they don't have a lot of drama (well at least one of them doesn't lol)

Other than sunning rocks, RiverClan has the least reasons for border disputes and prey disputes, ever since they moved to the lake

Maybe that's because Riverclan doesn't border thunderclan anymore maybe? I mean, Riverclan is so great because it has the least blood shed, most of the time they are plump unless there is a drought or the twolegs are taking them all. And by the way how many times has Leopardstar caused arguments at gatherings? In almost every book. So yeah they do have drama. Maybe you haven't read the books in a long time? I'm re-reading them, and I'm on omen of the stars and there is a LOT of drama with Riverclan. In fact, so far most of the book has been Riverclan based. Also, the books are in thunderclan point of view, and last time I checked, Riverclan is no where near them. There could have been several patrol battles, we don't know. Leaders don't tell all clans everything at gatherings you know. So please think before you type because there is actually a lot of drama with Riverclan. An example is the book "the fourth apprentice," where they have a drought and Riverclan has patrols going to every territory making sure they are not steeling fish, and a cat got stuck in the mud and almost drowned. A RIVERCLAN CAT!!! When they escorted him to Riverclan camp, Dovepaw saw a sick cat that is most likely Leopardstar. I'm not going to spoil anything else because clearly you have either not read the books, or it's been quite a long time.

Mistystar is definitely more peaceful than Leopardstar was.
TaS also has a POV in ShadowClan, which is right next to RiverClan. Again, nothing much happens with RiverClan.

Idk, RiverClan are ok. I know a lot of people say they're relaxed... but I don't really think so. Hailstar organized a raid into ThunderClan territory "just because they're awesome", even though they already had Sunningrocks and were well-fed. If I remember correctly, Shellheart and the patrol were deep into ThunderClan territory and even quite close to camp when Sunstar and ThunderClan attacked them. That was quite arrogant and even stupid, getting so close to camp, and I'm glad they learned their lesson by being beaten horribly. Despite the saying "RiverClan have only wanted Sunningrocks", I really think they would have attacked ThunderClan for no reason anyway sooner or later, and Hailstar's type of a raid probably would have happened again.
Not only that, but because RiverClan are so well-fed all the time, and sit comfortably behind the river that the other clans are often too scared to cross, they act twice as badly than the other clans when things go wrong, cause they're not used to it and panic. When the fish in the river started to disappear, Crookedstar- who was normally sympathetic and understanding, was willing to drive out an already weakened and exhausted WindClan with Nightstar in order to get his clan fed again. Silverstream mentioned really dramatically "if we don't have the rabbits, kits will die". Kits die every leafbare in ThunderClan, but they don't go around driving clans out when that happens. When the lake dried up, sure, it was pretty bad, but RiverClan went beyond nuts- insane. They were blocking cats from drinking from it- and there wasn't even fish in there :/. I know I know they were starving, but even ThunderClan wouldn't have threatened the other clans to die of dehydration.
I don't know, I feel like if RiverClan was a person, they'd be an awesome friend 80% of the time, but when something even slightly bad happens to them, they have a meltdown and get extremely bitter and yell at you, when it's really not such a big deal- at least, compared to what the other clans have to go through.
I mean, I like that for most of the time, they're cool, but man is it annoying when they freak out over not having a perfect, well-fed life. They haven't been driven out, they haven't had horrible leaders, they haven't had greencough epidemics, the only territory they've had to fight for is a pile of pretty rocks which they don't even hunt on, and they rarely have prey shortages.
But yeah anyways, that's just my personal view on RiverClan. I don't think they're any better than the others.
