x -- liars and thieves you know not what is in store
about the roleplay We should probably start with some background info.
Once, humans ruled the country of Hollinsvale. There were two kingdoms on either side of the country; Macindaw, and Ryantsby. As it follows, each Kingdom had its own King. The Macindaw Kingdom was known for its battle skill and formidable warriors, while the Ryantsby Kingdom was known for its elite alchemists and obvious riches. They were unmistakable rivals. And then… between the two kingdoms lay the Forbidden Forest. Just by the name, it held fear, and sometimes even wonder, in the minds of the country people. In the Forbidden Forest lived the mythicals, the supernaturals, the unreal. However, even though they were magical, they were forbidden. Looked down upon. Ignored. And they recognized how the humans, the naturals, saw them. But they never really accepted it. They never forgave, they never forgot. And they came back for revenge.
So what happened? The War's what happened. Here's a little backstory on the War: the more dignified of the supernaturals went to the Kingdom of Macindaw to strike up a deal. If Macindaw soldiers helped them get rid of the Kingdom of Ryantsby, the supernaturals promised they would give all Ryantsby riches to the Macindaw. Thus, the Kingdom of Ryantsby was destroyed, leaving many people killed, injured, and scattered. But something unexpected happened to Macindaw. Right after, the supernaturals betrayed Macindaw and attacked them soon the battle with Ryantsby ended, and the same thing happened to Macindaw as did Ryantsby. And that was what led to the reign of supernaturals, naming the land of Hollinsvale something of their own. It was a revolution, in a way. In the end, it led to the birth of supernatural Paranoma.
So what happened to the people? The Enchantress, a beautiful and most powerful witch, felt sorry for humans. This was, in fact, because the Enchantress was almost a human herself. And here comes the love story: the Enchantress fell in love with a Ryantsby prince. However, she knew that if she left the prince to suffer under the other supernaturals, she would not have him for long. So, the Enchantress told him her most deep secret: the truth about her diadem. The famous diadem, the Enchantress's Diadem, had the power to grant three wishes. However, it would only work once specific objects were placed in their rightful places. Unfortunately, those objects were scattered among supernaturals in different regions of the country for safekeeping. Once given, the Enchantress did not have the power to take them back. So, she gave her loving prince a quest: to find the objects and fit them into her fairly big diadem. The prince, in about half a decade, succeeded. Thus, he used two wishes. One, to create a new world for the people. And two, to make the Enchantress human so he could bring her with him.
So what does this have to do with me? Now is the part of the tale where you come in. You are one of the unlucky ones; you were not able to make it in to the new world the prince had created. Some say that it was fate, others say it was just a mere accident. Whatever the cause is, you are here. But you are not alone. Six people are like you. Altogether, you are seven. Seven people, seven objects to find. You must find all seven objects and put them into the Enchantress's diadem. This is so that you can use the last wish to transport all of you back to the new, human, natural world. It is a fight that is inevitable; no, it is a hunt. And you are hunting for your freedom. Each person was chosen for each object. Although individuals can receive help, they are the only ones that can touch their own special objects. Once they receive the dream message from the Enchantress an image of their own object is tattooed, or engraved, onto their skin on different body parts such as a shoulder blade, a wrist, the back of your neck. Will you succeed in finding all items and bringing them back together?

x -- and I won't die alone and be left there the land of Hollinsvale or shall I say… Paranoma Overall, the country of Paranoma has different regions. Down below, the specific regions are listed. In between regions is unclaimed land, which is home to many other mythical and unnatural creatures, such as trolls, pegasus, etc. You, one of the humans, live on unclaimed land. the [ Sorceress's ] enclaveTerritory owned by the Sorceress. In it lies her dark, stone castle, which is behind by a dark moat and metal gate, sitting atop a mountain. Her land is surrounded in all sides by obsidian stone slabs, making it almost impossible to get through. the [ elf ] copse A forest under the elves' reign. It is lush woodland, surrounded by a magical boundary. You might be able to get in easily, but it will be tricky to get out. Many dangers lie in these forests, such as gigantic spiders and poisonous moths. Pegasus live here; these are the peaceful, nicer ones. Hidden in the deep groves are the elves' fief, surrounded by a tangle of vines. The forest itself has a fatal, roaring river around it, guarding the elves. the [ mermen ] fjordsThe mermen claim possession of all of the sea, but their main turf is in the Northern Fjord, which is situated near the canyons and cliffs of dwarves. In the fjord lies their underwater kingdom with magnificent castles. Mermen towns are scattered all over the oceans, but many are near land. It is almost impossible to spot the mermen kingdom, as it is shielded by underwater magic. You can only enter the boundaries if you have been tainted with faerie dust, as faeries come and go into mermen territory as they please. Often, it is so because faeries carry messages to and from mermen. the [ dragon ] cordilleraA territory filled with vast, high peaked mountains. They are of an immense size, and they must be, to inhabit the dragons. The main mountain's peak is shaped that of a dragon's head, with its enormous jaws open. You must go into the open jaws to enter the cores of the cordillera mountains. Inside the mountains are gems of every color, which are not known to outsiders. The mountains have no forests or plants, it is that only of hard, slab rock. Depending on what type of dragon lives in it, each mountain has different features. Thus, for example, if an ice dragon lives in one, the mountain is most likely to have snow or glaciers. A black dragon, the rare poisonous dragon, lives in the main mountain. the [ faerie ] glen leaA beautiful, grassy valley, in the hands of the faeries. Trees are rare in this valley; there are mostly flowers and grass. However, there are many brooks, creeks, and streams flowing throughout the glen lea, and often you can find faerie towns near these small bodies of water. They adore water, which is why faeries so often want to visit the mermen. The Queen of Faeries lives in the lowest point in the valley, in a small crater next to a tiny pond. The glen lea has no magical boundaries, but it is hard to go by unnoticed, especially as faeries will watch your every move. the [ dwarf ] metropolisThe dwarf metropolis is situated in the middle of canyons near the ocean. They live deep in the ravines, their houses on random ledges and cliffs. Most of their houses are made of either straw, wood, and/or stone. Each of their houses has a special room for all the treasures they find. The metropolis canyons has no magical boundaries, but the cliffs are so heavily populated by dwarves, it is hard to fit in and go by unnoticed. Remember, dwarves are extremely hostile and two-faced. Hostile pegasus live here; do not touch or provoke them at any cost. the [ giants' ] welkinsThe skies territory ruled by the giants. Their houses and the Prison of Paranoma lies on high clouds in the sky. Thus, their homes move a little everyday, depending on how the weather goes. The only way to reach their land is to either climb the gigantic beanstalk connected from the dragon cordillera to the main kingdom's mansion, or to fly. Humans, if they wish to fly, can only approach on a pegasus or a dragon. There are no magical boundaries, just giant guards. Literally, giant guards... plot news [ date ] -- X boop [ date ] -- X boop [ date ] -- X boop [/font]

x -- if I could make amends with all my shadows the supernatural [ listed in order of hierarchy ]
[ the Sorceress ] -- X The Enchantress's older sister. She is one of the few supernaturals who knows about the Enchantress's diadem and its magical feature. She, in fact, is the one who went to the Kingdom of Macindaw and she is the one who instigated the War. Her jealousy of her sister made her into a wicked witch, and is the group of naturals' biggest opponent. The Sorceress is also searching for the seven items to fulfill her own wish of becoming true ruler of Paranoma and being immortal.
X -- [ the elves ]
Dignified. Both cursed and blessed with a long life span. Most elves are slim, lean, and muscular, tall, and they have incredible speed. They are exceptionally swift and agile on their feet, and are known for their archery and spear skills. Some of them like to call themselves the "Guardians of Paranoma". They are great tacticians, and it is not easy to fool them. The object they want most in their possession is faerie dust, which they can use to their advantage in many ways.
[ the mermen ] -- X
Regal. The mermen hold themselves in a dignified, classy way. Nothing irks them more than having to hear that they are below the elves. They are proud of their shimmering scaled tails and their underwater kingdom. Underwater in their homeland, mermen are exceptional fighters, and are especially good with swords. They are rulers of the sea and the creatures that live there. Mermen are actually quite snobbish. The object they want most in their possession is flask of elf potion, which can help them use overland magic.
X -- [ the dragons ]Does it surprise you that the dragons are very high in the hierarchy? They can actually communicate, and can talk regularly like supernaturals can. The reason why dragons are so high in the power table is because they are formidable fighters and guards. With their powerful wings, dragons can fly up to tremendous speeds, and if they flap, they can push back armies of humans. Depending on the color, dragons have different traits. Red/orange/yellow dragons can breathe fire. Blue/purple dragons summon storms. White/gray dragons breathe ice. Green/brown dragons summon earth. Black dragons breathe poison, but they are extremely rare. What they want most? Mermen hair; it allows them to go underwater without drenching their wings.
[ the faeries ] -- X
Do not picture cute, fluffy little Tinkerbells. The faeries can be extremely deadly. They are divided; half of them are good, and half of them are bad. The wicked ones can do a large amount of damage, and some are even learning dark magic, venturing into curses and hexes. Depending on the type of fairy (whether good or bad), the color of their faerie dust is different. They are a little bigger than what average fairies make you think; about the size of your lower arm. The objects that they want most are dragon scales, which help them fly at immense speeds and up to great heights. X -- [ the dwarves ]Dwarves… bitter little beings, aren't they. They are constantly put down for their puny size, and are teased by the elves about their low status. These dwarves are not those happy dwarves from Snow White; they are bitter, low, grumpy, greedy, and hostile. They especially do not take well to strangers and thieves. Dwarves are used as underdogs by the upper classmen, and are often pushed around. They are just one step higher than the giants because of their hauls of precious metals they tend to steal. The objects that they want most are the giants' golden eggs.
[ the giants ] -- X Like their names, giants are HUGE. Very, very huge. If it weren't for them being unsanitary and slightly dumb, they would have been put as higher ranks. The giants guard the Prison of Paranoma, which is actually in the clouds. They call themselves the "Keykeepers of Paranoma", as they hold the keys to every entrance, every door: yes, even the Sorceress's castle. However, giants are very fond of their keys and will always keep them insight. In their possession are golden geese, who lay golden eggs. They are not very good at communication, but are very ruthless. Fortunately, every giant has a weak spot, if you know where to find it. What they want most? Dwarf pendants; medal amulets that come in pairs and allow the wearers to observe the other's surroundings. Perfect for guarding a prison. x -- i'd bow my head and welcome them the natural [ the warrior ] -- X [ the Sorceress's ruby ] Rjorn Tethras [ 23 -- Male ]
Rjorn is tall and imposing, with a large muscular frame standing at about 6"2. He has dark red hair that falls to about his shoulders, but it is normally tied back messily to keep it out of his face. He has tired brown eyes and prefers to keep his face clean shaven if he can. He is somewhat tan, and has slight tan lines on his face from wearing his helmet out in the sun. Rjorn is nearly always wearing his armor that was issued out to knights of Ryantsby that partook in the war, as it is almost like a safety net to him. Despite his outwardly mature appearance, he has a rather childlike demeanor and naive nature. He is quiet and submissive, and can tend to overthink things. Despite his tendency to be sheepish and to depend on others, he has honed his skills with his mace and uses battle and battle training as a means to escape from the pressures he forges in his own mind. Rjorn joined the Ryansby forces, which was uncommon in the kingdom known for alchemists. When the Macindaw kingdom ransacked his home, he was left feeling abandoned as he was left on the outskirts of the new world, all by himself. [ Her family crossed worlds. No romance! -- N/A ]-- woobiewooooo --
X -- [ the apothecary ] [ the elf king's arrowhead ] Mirabelle Sage [ 22 -- Female ] Mirabelle is not your typical quester. Her hands are calloused from years of work, and always covered in dirt from working with plants and herbs, giving her the appearance of a miner, more than anything. Thankfully, a few things distinguish her as the apothecary of the group- the constant sweet smell of herbs surrounding her, pale skin from staying inside with her work, a lean, thin body, only worked out from the mountain hiking to collect different plants, and the ingredients she always carries in her pouches. Even on a quest, she hasn't stopped her work. Her black hair, though long, is constantly tied back so as not to get into the medicine she creates. Her eyes are steel gray, and always serious and calculating, thinking about the bigger picture. If you couldn't tell already, she's not the most friendly person in the group, now even less prone to cheerfulness and mirth from the situation they've been put into. She doesn't feel as if the members of the quest should be friends, just allies, though Mirabelle will protect any one of them, if not for anything but the fact that they need all of them to get back home. While she believes the others share the same sentiments, she doesn't exactly believe they all share the same skill sets. Naturally, she holds intelligence over strength, and thinks that will be more crucial to their journey. If you ask her, this has nothing to do with the fact that she can't really fight- Mirabelle has been in a few tussles over people trying to steal her supplies, she isn't skilled with anything but a knife, which she uses for her work. However, she does have high stamina. Mirabelle has not opened up to anyone in quite a long time- the life of an apothecary is an independent one, so she's used to looking after herself. Working together in close quarters with others could lead to high tensions, or simply help aide her through these rough times. She isn't sure which yet, but is inclined towards the first option, but anything goes. She wouldn't exactly push away anyone she deems worthy of attention, however snarky and cold she may be. [ Her family crossed worlds. No romance yet. -- N/A ] -- Rosestar --

X -- [ the miner ] [ the black dragon's scale ] .: male :. -- claimed --
[ the merchant ] -- X [ the faerie queen's flower petal ]
Wisp Kellen [ 20 -- Female ] Wisp is a thin and very fair-skinned female, standing at about 5’7. Long black hair tumbles in tight, natural curls reaching her lower-back. An arched and side-sweeping bang, swings over her left eye and completely covers it unless she pins it back. Her eyes are an aqua blue with bright green almond shaped dots along their edges and her pupils. Her face is framed in a circular shape, giving her a more youthful appearance. Her cheeks are round with a natural blush. On her palm is a natural tan colored birthmark in the shape of a morphed looking clover. Wisp has little muscle, but she can move very quickly due to her size. You could say Wisp is an attractive girl or you could not. She isn’t noticeably attractive in her opinion and her own beauty is often determined by others. Some see her as average; some see her as above average, it is all for you to decide. Wisp is a tough girl, because of her occupation as a merchant she is always on alert. However, also because of her job, she is a smooth talker. Wisp has a thick skin about her, she doesn't really care what others think of her and verbal insults simply bounce off or her. When something will benefit her, Wisp is overly willing to do it. She'll use her sense of manipultion to its highest ability, but if something doesn't benefit her, then you can't really count her in. She isn't attached to anyone emotionally and keeps her distance from any emotional situation because inwardly, she knows if she gets to close she won't be able to make choices freely, She will end up getting emotionally tied up with someone or something. Though she is unwilling to admit it, Wisp is deathly scared of not being in control. She knows she can't control her deep emotions so she cuts away from anything that might trigger them. She is extremely talented with a dagger and isn't afraid to use it, however that is the only weapon she is skilled with. Wisp's whole family was killed by a group of dwarves and she bitterly hates them. However, unknown to her, her brother escaped and crossed worlds. [ Family is dead. [ the outlaw ] -- X [ the giant king's golden key ] .: male :. -- claimed --
X -- [ the traitor ][ the Sorceress's henchman ] Aerien Vhenaris [ 21 -- Male ] Aerien stands at a rather tall height - naturally - with a lean and slim build. Though he may not seem much, that is where you would be mistaken. He uses his agility and rather quick reflexes to his advantage, strategically using his foes strength against them to best them if a situation of combat ever arose. As a weapon, he carries a fine-crafted bow, made of the wood of birch - it's pale colour evident of this, as well as a quiver that's made of sturdy leather. Patterns are etched into the wood of the bow in elegant flowing swirls and symbols, the lines showing experienced craftsmanship and expertise. You might even say the guy's emotionally attached to the weapon, however best not judge. His skin is a pale peach, but not so much so it's a ghostly white - which contrasts his hair, which is a glossy raven-black in colour. His hair, if let loose naturally, reaches a fair bit past his shoulders, ending just above his mid back. It's straight and usually kept well groomed and in good condition, commonly styled in a ponytail or half-ponytail, or generally just let down loosely depending on his initial mood; or if he bothers to fiddle with it. His eyes are a bright and striking Amber in colour, having a warming and soft tone to them. Though they can turn cold in a second, emotionless and uninviting to those who provoked him. What might catch most off guard about him however, is his pointed ears, showing evidently he is of elven heritage; whether others may view him higher or lower because of this, he cares not. Aerien is dignified and well-mannered, treating others of whom he is close to with respect. He is most definitely not afraid to speak his own thoughts, being quite outspoken in his opinions, though knows when the time is to stop. However, he is reserved when it comes to speaking of anything concerning himself, saying his past brings up bad memories and that he ill wished to return to them - and will become sharp and coldly assertive if further questioned on it, though apologises soon after for being too 'brash' about it, and that the individual was not at fault for inquiring about it as such. Despite this, the man overall is not a bad guy to be around, if you take a liking to his company. He has a sense of humour, and isn't afraid to joke around with a hint of ever so graceful sarcasm. Though, what is more bracing about him is what is concealed inside. In fact, there is a good reason he does not discuss much of his past. Covering his steps with evasive humour and presumed good will, lulling others into a false sense of security - all of which the path he has chosen has required him to do. He wears a mask, as such, hiding his true feelings and views away; the more to help in his goal. A time before the present, his family and he lived in relative peace, away from the conflict of the rivalling kingdoms. He was not what he is as present, he was kind and cared deeply for his younger sister, Llyra, feeling responsible as her older brother to keep her safe. However, when the uprising began, and the Kingdom of Ryantsby was marched upon, his family refused to aid the other supernatural's cause - fleeing in attempt to get away from the chaos that would soon ensue. Though all did not go as planned. His parents were killed unsuspectedly, most likely for refusing their aid to the other supernaturals as well as to keep them quiet, leaving Aerien and his sister alone and vulnerable. He vowed to Llyra he would allow no harm to come to her like their parents, that he would always keep her safe from harm. But alas, perhaps it was fate or something more, that was not meant to be. Upon the destruction of Macindaw, he and his sister stumbled across survivors. Bewildered and in destain, they lashed out at Aerien and his sister, mistaking them for being a part of the supernaturals that caused the destruction of both kingdoms. Aerien attempted to flee with his sister, though she was struck down, and in a fit of rage he did so the same to the Macindaw soldiers. He felt empty and lost, feeling he no longer had purpose, with having lost the last person that was tethering him to continuing on; and the grievance that came along with it, that he believed he had failed her, weighed him down like a boulder. That was, however, until he met the Sorceress herself. At first, he cursed her name, for everything she had caused; taking everything out on her because it was the only thing he could do, because he was too helpless to do all else. Though he was soon silenced by what she offered. A bargain of such, if you want to call it that. She spoke of ways she knew that could have a chance of bringing his sister back, and in return he would offer his service to her. Why she offered this to him, with so many pawns to her disposal already, he himself knew not at the time, he cared not; he knew only of the answer he gave her. And so, a deal was made, a two person alliance formed and a mind soon turned corrupt.

I kind of left everything a little ended, so you can kind of mold your character your way. So, say you want the merchant. They can sell whatever you want, however you want.
In the outlaw's case, they can be wanted for anything. Maybe they killed some important person, or they just steal everything and anything. In the end it's really up to you.
And the traitor is betraying the other humans for the Sorceress. Why? I don't know. It's up to that roleplayer to decide,
Does that make sense?

Aᴜʀᴏʀᴀ Bᴏʀᴇᴀʟɪs- I figured out how to get notifications. Go to the top of the thread post, and click bookmark. Then, every time someone replies, a notif in the bookmarks tab under the warriors banner at the top of the page will pop up.
