It is an unspoken rule of mine to never mention LGBTQ+ around my family. If they instigate a conversation, I mysteriously disappear. I believe my mother suspects I support LGBTQ+ but will not confront me about it. I personally think she doesn't care that much either, but won't say anything because of what she was taught. You gotta love growing up being taught to dislike gay people and ignore transgender identity.
But, maybe one day you can talk things out to your family. Communication is very helpful.

Communication is very helpful. i mean supporting and being is p different. also my family has known i was actually trans for months and never said anything to me about it and im like "coolcool" so like obvi they don't really want to talk about it either. yeah someday. but she's asking The Questions that im like "nah im not feeling like answering those."
