Halfsun had turned to the opposite direction of camp after his conversation with Silverstar. No, he will start calling her Silverpaw now. He was sick of her, he thought bitterly that the Clan would be better off without her, or even better yet, she died. Of course, he would never wish such things upon another cat, but at the heat of the moment he did not mind so much. He had approached the river that ran through their territory, it had the most trees out of anywhere else in their Clan since the water was in an abundance here. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the small squeak of a kit and a splash in the water. He looked around to the area where he had heard the splash, and without hesitation, sprinted along the bank until he was in front of the kit. Halfsun dived in, remembering how his father taught him how to swim. He said to always be ready for whatever came your way. Halfsun noticed Silverpaw's head in the water as well. He decided he was going to grab the kit first before saving Silverpaw. He dived under the surface of the water, trying to see more clearly where the kit was. It's small body was floating helplessly in the current, like a piece of wood. Halfsun opened his mouth and took the kit by the scruff, before swimming over to shore. It was not too much of a problem, however, he did not go after Silverpaw. Instead, he stood there on the opposite bank watching her struggle in the river's grasp.

Halfsun rolled his eyes and placed the kit somewhere in the sun for it would warm up a bit. "You wish." He told her, not in a taunting way but something more...serious. Why should Silverpaw get any credit for this? She would boast the the Clan wouldn't she? Although in reality Halfsun could not see his apprentice leader lying about something like that, he hated her enough to do what he did next. "I just want you to know, that I will never regret this." He told her bluntly and left her in suspense for a few moments before pushing the already exhausted and choking leader back into the water. He had kicked her in the ribs hard. And his size compared to her's did not help her situation either. He watched with a sick satisfaction as she tossed around in the river, looking helpless.

30 moons old is actually young, it is the equivalent of 2 and a half years for a cat. Which in the warriors series, most cats around that age are warriors or medicine cats)

Lillyleaf and Spiritpaw were still left standing there while Silverstar went to save the kit. "Well...that escalated quickly," Spiritpaw commented. "Should we go after her?"

70 moons is almost 6 more years...)

Even though he was dissapointed to stop the journey to Mothermouth, Spiritpaw headed back to camp. He then noticed something whiteish silvery in the direction of the Leader's Den. "Silverstar?" Spiritpaw asked when he got there. "What are you doing back here? And what are we going to do about the journey to Mothermouth? And why are you soaking wet?"

Heatherstripe woke up after her nap, she token. Walking out of the warrior's den, the she-cat heard cats chattering. "Probably Halfsun and Silverpaw, are arguing again.", mumbled Heatherstripe as she yawned. Seeing Halfsun, she called from half way,"Hey Halfsun!"
