It depends on the series you're referring to.
The OG series, they were pretty well represented, having a couple books focused entirely on them.
The TNP, they had a decent amount of focus. As much as they other clans were focused on, besides Thunderclan. But they had their focusing moments, especially w/ Leafpool being friends w/ Mothwing and having to train Willowshine. Also with Hawkfrost being a primary antagonist.
In PoT, not really. The only clans really focused on here was Thunder and Wind, with maybe a bit of Shadow.
In OotS, I can't really say, since I dropped this arc, but I don't remember anything from them.
In VoS, lol who's Riverclan again?

I think they got a fair ammount of book time in the prophecies begin and The new prophecy but after they were no longer neighboring Thunderclan they kind of dropped off and that kind of made me sad

In my opinion, any Clan that is not ThunderClan is underrepresented (I haven't read Thunder and Shadow yet so IDK how much ShadowClan time we get)

yeah but in this series that's them getting it easy
the more we've seen of any Clan the more the fans have complained about that Clan so like…lucky RiverClan
but since the move to the lake they have shown up the least, though of course it makes sense that it would be that way

I think Riverclan is the coolest clan. But it's not as underrepresented as Windclan.

Does WindClan get spotlight? Only things I can think of are Heatherpaw talking about WindClan when she was with Lionpaw...I can't really remember. Oh and there was when Fireheart and Greystripe saved them, I guess. But at least RiverClan did get SOME spotlight in the Tigerstar and Sasha manga, and sort of Mapleshade's Vengeance and Mistystar's novella, too.

In general all the other clans seem to get less focus compared to the OS. In the OS the drama and action happened in all clans and between all Clans. Same with TNP. WHen the get to the lake, most of the focus shifts to solely ThunderClan. There seems to be less inter-clan conflicts at the lake. Also, because of the lake, RiverClan is ages away from ThunderClan so there's bound to be less of them.

I personally think it's because in the new lake territories ThunderClan doesn't have a border with RiverClan.

Yeah. They were worked into the plot of The New Prophecy, but after Dark River, they're basically nonexistent. Even in Dawn of the Clans, RiverClan does nothing.

Yes. Let's face it: Compared to ThunderClan, the other three Clans hardly get any spotlight. You'd think the Erins would have an arc for each of the four Clans, but NOPE. (I'm not counting SkyClan because it's hardly even a Clan, what with the constant desolation and all.)

That would be cool if like with every arc they change the Clan viewpoints but no. Yes, RiverClan is underrepresented in everything after TNP. They might as well have them all die off

In the newer books there's barely anything about them, so yes. But for the course of the entire series, windclan sas the most underrepresented in my opinion.
