Anyhow, I just want the entire Dovewing drama to end. We had enough of her hysterics. She's like that girl in high school that thinks she's very special and proceeds to date 20 guys and complains about all of them.

This better not be another excuse for more Dovewing drama If HawkwingXDovewing does happen, this is how I think it'll play out: Dovewing goes on the search to find SkyClan. When they find them, she falls head-over-heels for the handsome tom Hawkwing. Hawkwing asks them if any of them are a relative of Firestar. Dovewing speaks up, and then stuff happens. But, we haven't even met Hawkwing yet, unfortunately. |

From my recollection, initially she was confirmed by Kate that she was going to get a mate, but it wouldn't be Bumblestripe or Tigerheart. Recently though someone asked Kate again, and this time she said she wasn't sure if Dovewing was getting a mate. So as far as we know, Dovewing is no longer confirmed to be getting a mate- even though we don't know if she will get a mate, either.
But I could be wrong- if I am someone please correct me.

In fact, she thinks very low of herself sometimes, even believing that Ivypool is better than her. I don't have the books right now but I think in Fading Echoes she was saying something like her sister would become a good hunter, unlike her [Dovewing]. |

She always thought it was normal to hear things for away from a kitten at first. She flipped out because she didn't know that it wasn't normal to have sensitive hearing. Cats thought she was making up stories so it stressed her out. Even her own sister thought she was showing off and she felt depressed because nobody believed her. It was when Lionblaze and Jayfeather told her that she's the One and she didn't want to accept it. Remember she's barely a kit out of the nursery, having the goal to become the greatest warrior in ThunderClan, only to discover that she has to save all the Clans. That's a lot of pressure built into a young child who's barely out of the nursery. She's so innocent. She just wants to be close to her sister and the prophecy just ruins it. She even wanted her sister in the prophecy but Jayfeather asked if she had anything odd happen to her and Dovepaw told him no. Dovewing never really had a normal life until the prophecy was over. She was forced to grow up fast and she had to leave her sister out of the prophecy and have a separated life because of it. The prophecy put a lot of pressure into Dovewing. Really, her complaints were normal. I only remember this because I've read Omen of the Stars so many times that I'm just sick of it by now and I defend Dovewing too much that I've memorized what she's done in that arc. |

And she complained about her powers being gone later on as a warrior because she finally accepted them and understood how important they were. She can hunt well and she felt like she's practically useless without her powers. She's saved lives, helped feed the Clan and warned them for danger because of her powers. Dovewing's powers have always been a part of her, and with that part of her gone, she's nothing, and she had to learn how to live without her powers and deal with things like a normal cat would.
