I'm still not over him honestly.
When WindClan was exiled, and Fireheart was helping them back, he helped out Morningflower carry Gorsekit across the Thunderpath.
Or when Gorsepaw got to meet Fireheart again when he was a little older, he found out how his mother would tell him all about Fireheart. And how much Gorsepaw looked up to Fireheart, and how shy he was.
And then....Tigerstar later pinned him down and made an example out of him. How he killed this young aspiring bright and strong apprentice to show what would happen if the others didn't join him. And then we see Morningflower grieving over her kit.
Remember how Gorsepaw is seen in StarClan next to Stonefur.
And then that last time, when we hear about him, it's with Morningflower. And how she fiercely fought against BloodClan, all the while chanting her son's name, and avenging his death.
Some other interesting things, is that Gorsepaw is related to Mudclaw and Ashfoot.

I've always had a soft spot for Gosepaw. I wish we had enough information to get an ebook about him, but I know that's never gonna happen.

Yeah I feel like the only one that remembers him. Background characters are cool too! Yeah, some other ones I really like are Badgerfang, Deadfoot, and Beetlewhisker. |

Yes! I loved Gorsepaw, and I think given the chance, he would possibly made an excellent leader of WindClan. It is such a shame that he died in a horrific way :c

Yes... Poor little Gorsepaw. In honor of him, I wrote this little scene. Firestar pushed his way through the starry undergrowth while scanning his surroundings. He had only been in StarClan for a few days now, and it felt odd to say the least. He missed his Clanmates back at the lake, especially Sandstorm. She had been by his side through so much, and now they were separated. Pushing the depressing thoughts away, Firestar continued to trek through the forest, occasionally sniffing the air for prey. Suddenly, the brambles to his left began to shake violently. Rabbit? he thought hopefully, licking his jaws. Dropping into a hunters crouch, the flame colored tom began to stalk towards the brambles. Just as he was about to leap, a little brown tabby sprang out. His eyes gleamed with joy as he rushed over to the former ThunderClan leader. "Firestar!" the young cat yowled, a deep purr rumbling in his throat. Firestar sat back, blinking. "Gorsepaw?" he wondered. Gorsepaw nodded eagerly. "I'm so glad to see you." Firestar squeezed his eyes shut as painful memories came crashing down on him. He had been so fond of Gorsepaw, but Tigerstar had killed him just to spite him. "I'm so sorry," he choked out, his eyes watering slightly. "I should have saved you... I-" "It's not your fault," Gorsepaw whispered. "I know you would have saved me if you had been there. My whole Clan would have. Please don't blame yourself for my death." "You should have grown up!" Firestar dug his claws into the soil, a surge of sudden anger burning through his veins. Why was Tigerstar so cruel? Gorsepaw was no more than a kit! He should have grown up, perhaps even becoming leader one day. "It's not your fault," Gorsepaw repeated. "Do I wish things had been different? Of course, but things don't always work out the way that we want. You are my hero no matter what, Firestar. I will never forget what you have done for me, and what you have done for the Clans. Please don't ever forget that." Firestar let out a small purr. "You've grown into a fine cat," he meowed. "WindClan would be very proud of you." Gorsepaw's eyes brightened. "You should see my hunting skills, too! The other day I took down a rabbit bigger than a fox!" The ginger tom chuckled. "Oh, really? Let's just see about that then. Are you up for a hunting contest?" Gorsepaw sprang to his paws and charged in the direction of the moorland. "You're on!" he called, before racing away. Firestar charged after him, glad to be in Gorsepaw's company again. it probably sucks but I just wanted to write a little story about Gorsepaw because he's so cute |

Poor thing. I felt my chest tighten when I read about his mother, chanting his name during the battle with BloodClan. I felt so bad for her, but at the same time I felt so much respect.

I like Gorsepaw! He was a good cat. I felt sad when he died. I wish he would've grown to be a warrior.

@twisterheart I-I'm not c-crying!! I-I just h-have some dirt s-stuck in my e-eye! Sobbing can be heard in the distance.
He was so precious, I wanted to punch Tigerstar in the face when he killed Gorsepaw. Usually I love to hate Tigerstar, but that time I just flat out hated him.
Also I know it sounds kinda dumb, but for some reason I really like the name Gorseheart as his warrior name.

I feel like he'd have been named something old school and simple like Gorsetail. He doesn't need a fancy name to show he's awesome.
