(Questions cause I'm having trouble picking names XD I have too many LOL) (The first character is a girl, the names areee Briony, Dhara, Bisera, or Desta idk her vibe yet but I'm feeling B's and D's for her name LOL ) (Next is a guy I'm thinking he is the I'm the best at everything type of person but deep down he is just insecure and scared to fail at anything so he throws a fit when he does xD Names could be: Elpsis, Zelle, Teivel, or Selmore (Theen we have another girl Nieves, Verity, Vritra, or Sorcha)
(I'm also trying to think of some drama to add like some missing royal or a traitor or maybe just a sneaky person who likes to have all their cards in hand like someone who is in the know with everything and it all comes at a price cause I haven't played an evil character in a while)

Maewen"Braiding?" She asked tilting her head a bit. The woman laughed, so that was why he kept his hair so short. "It doesn't take too long once you get good at it." Maewen shrugged her shoulders and then her eyes fell on Pelter, he was had been waiting for them. That didn't make her feel any better that meant he had something he was ready to do as quickly as possible. Not that the short to the point sentences didn't give that away already.
Walking in after the alchemist she was hit with that familiar scent, one she'd gotten to know all too well when she was tested for blood type, and the worked on for what felt like an eternity hooked up to all kinds of things to make sure she survived the transfusions. It wasn't the best feeling, if she'd know it would have been all of that she'd have never agreed to is. Of course once it had all started there was no going back. She watched a person in one of the cots, sympathizing with whatever pain he was going through, she couldn't tell what stage the poor thing was in but it didn't look like his last transfusion. Then again it was easier for some people.
Hearing Les mention not wanting to be hooked up to one of those things again she looked toward him ready to agree, but she couldn't say anything, it seemed his little comment wasn't quiet enough. "Oh goodie, there is some good news today." Mae joked as she walked in after Les, narrowing her eyes trying to adjust her eyes to the dark she was squinting to try to make anything out. She adjusted finally and there were all kinds of things in there, vials were never a good sign. So naturally she walked over and tapped on one of them. "Hi new guy." The phoenix flashed a big grin his way, "Like Les said, what do you guys have planned for us? Please tell me it's some kind of treatment to make my shoulders stop hurting or something like a nice fun break." She was just trying to make light of the situation, everyone was so serious right now. Of course that was normal for times of war and made sense, but she hated how sad things were. Moral was low and that was never good for winning anything. So it was her personal mission to make things a little more fun when she could. That meant not taking anything to seriously.
Aras
A smile crossed his face as the ash collector spoke up agreeing to a meal with him, though he didn't yet move in the tent. After all he was inviting them out and into the main tent. He was glad they agreed, Aras didn't like eating alone, he was too used to that. He lived alone back home and often spent time by himself when he wasn't training or off at war. Which seemed to be more often than not now. Alone time wasn't bad, he gardened alone that was always nice. Eating though that was different. Somehow that felt sad somehow.
He was then surprised that they asked him to stay, instead of going back out into the main tent. Well, he supposed that made sense, it wasn't the prettiest thing out there. "Oh. Uh. Yeah I could stay here, less people anyway right." The man chuckled a little as he walked in holding the three bowls carefully. Aras awkwardly made his way down to sit on the floor, he was like a new born deer, perpetually struggling. But he managed to get seated and hold out their bowls to them. Tipping his bowl to them she started eating. "I noticed you both hadn't come out for a while and I just figured some food might be nice. Its too cold to not eat something warm." The dark haired man offered a small smile, "Ya know I don't think spring means snow on the ground or did I loose track of the seasons?"
(He is also pretty short but they are just chatting so I think its fine? LOL)

MaewenShe gave him a small wave as she stretched on her way to change her clothing. Everything ached and she tripped several times almost landing on someone on her way to the clothing trunk. Maewen sort of laughed quietly and fixed the blanket over the snoring girl and scurried away basically feeling the ground with her hands till she felt the trunk that held extra clothing. She grabbed whatever was on top and threw it on, luckily she managed to pick something that fit in some sense. She walked out in a long-sleeved dress that was too short but fit nicely everywhere else on her arms. It was a deep tan color and the calf-length was welcome in her opinion long dresses were harder to move in, especially this thick fabric meant to keep them warm. under she'd put on some tights to once again keep warm that were a few shades darker than the dress.
As she walked out she held little metal pins in her mouth and was braiding her hair with surprising speed. When she reached Les she shoved the last pin in her head holding the two braids in place on her head and out of the way. They were by no means perfect but they'd work for whatever they'd be doing. Then again they might just lay in a pile of ash at the end of it but the curls were getting out of control and covered with soot as it was. Maewen didn't feel like dealing with it right now.
Almost immediately she noticed how long the shirt was on him and couldn't help but laugh a little, "You'd think It'd be hard to find something that was long on you." She tilted her head a grin on her face. "C'mon we've got fires to make." Her hand cupped her chin for a moment as she cracked her neck, it was just what she'd needed that helped release some tension from her shoulders as well. It was almost instantly visible how her upper body relaxed. She knew this was not going to be the most fun thing and could possibly end in them having to be revived again so she wasn't really looking forward to it but as usual she tried to make the best out of what was being thrown at them. Or rather what they were being thrown into.
Experiments could be fun right?
It didn't take them very long for them to reach the alchemists tent, but outside was already too cold for her liking. Sge hated the cold so much. At least she had a dress and pants on now, warmer than the blaket she'd had previously. That and shoes, that was a big help, not having something to keep the cold from your feet was the worst feeling. Almost as bad as feeling yourself die over and over again.
Aras
He had gotten to sleep in having recently revived, about two days ago, it wouldn't be long before he would need to go back into battle. Honestly he wasn't looking forward to it. Aras preferred to be here in camp helping out when their medical staff was short handed or making sure no one attacked them here. After all as they were proving, attacking camps was a fast way to knock out the enemy. So he lifted himself out of his bed, his body had adjusted yesterday but he hadn't been sent out in the most recent of raids. After all, he wasn't exactly graceful, sort of clumsy actually, until his life was on the line then he chalked it all up to luck and the powers he wielded now.
So here he was basically hiding out in the tent, avoiding most who would tell him to go to battle, of course seeing how things were he'd be sent out by tomorrow no problem. He didn't like dying, it hurt, no one understood what it was like to feel yourself burn till there was nothing left but ash. And waking up after? No one but his fellow phoenixes knew, it was relieving to come back sure but it hurt almost as bad as the passing had. After all your lungs skill burned, your body hurt and the mental toll it took was just as hard. Was life really so important if it could just be recreated?
Shaking his head he got up off the cot, enough bad thoughts for one day. They had enough bad things actually going on currently with this war. Aras walked out, careful not to wake anyone up as he left the tent, maybe some food would be good. Out he went grabbing a bowl from the young boy in charge of handing out the gruel. Before he'd gone out they'd had bread at least. It seemed that was over. They'd been out here too long. He wanted nothing more to be home in a warm bed with a nice fire that warmed the whole room. Not one that you had to huddle around. He missed his dog too.
Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts. The food is warm at least, that was happy. He wondered if anyone else was up, there hadn't been anyone in the men's tent. So maybe there was someone in the women's tent. He did vaguely remember seeing Kyrra and Isolabella around the other day. Maybe they were hungry. So he managed to convince the boy give him two more bowls. It took a minute but he'd managed. Being as careful as he could not to spill anything he stood outside the entrance. "Hey, uh Isolabella? Kyrra? I figured you two were hungry. So I uh brought what they are calling food now."
Aras just sort of hoped that they were in the tent. He didn't know, he just guessed. Things had a way for working out for him most times though. "I've got two fresh bowls if you guys want them. I also think it might be a bit warmer by the fire and there is an empty table out here.."

Β»Anaris Vass
This was one of the biggest moments of their lives, which seemed to have just started for the two now. She was nervous but ready to face the world beside him every step of the way. Anaris knew he'd be there with his cheeky little grin and dimples to match supporting anything she set out to do. It was a calming sense to know that he'd be there regardless. They'd take on the world, and they would win, she just knew it.
Right now though he had the cutest little fake pout in the world. The smile remained plastered on her face as she laughed "Lucky for us, my king, we can be together as often as we wish now." That was right, they were no longer separate, but a unit. It was going to take some getting used to but she didn't mind it one bit. His neck comment sent a rush of electricity through her body, something sweeter huh? Her face was already as red as the richest colored rugs in the castle, but she giggled turning her face for a moment, biting her lip a little trying to compose herself after such a forward and flirtatious comment. After a moment she looked back at him, giving him a rather flirty once over before curtsying back and taking his arm.
As the two walked together there was a lot going on, she could still hear her cousins muttering things but she paid them very little mind. The sound of praise rang louder then their misplaced distain. So they lead the rest of the people to the after party where they would eat cake, listen to music and watch live performances. This was their first event as husband and wife. Time to face the wolves. As he pulled her chair out she dipped her head to him and sat down delicately, ever so proper when there were prying eyes. Well, most of the time. The blush that had stained her face previously had died down as they had walked together, it had given her time to reign everything in. No sooner had she did his neck comment send all of her blood rushing to her head, staining everything from her forehead all the way down to her neck.
Anaris turned from her food to look at him, catching the glint in his eyes, a grin spread across her face. He was doing his dammedest to fluster her. Two could play at that game. So the woman leaned in her eyes locked on his a familiar dance the two shared. Her hand came up to hold her chin as she stared into the deep dark eclipse that was his brown gaze."Well love, I suppose we could return to our chambers when the night is over and do some mingling of our own." A small, seemingly innocent smile accompanied with the flutter of her lashes did not match the sultry tone her voice took, "Perhaps you can show me a less proper dance." She moved her hand to adjust his collar, fingers trailing ever so slightly against his skin as she did. Just to throw it over the top for him.
Then she leaned in a kissed his cheek, patting him gently where she'd kissed him. "Unless of course you have other plans?" Anaris took a bite of her food, knowing very well his cheeks were going to be as red as her own. As long as he stumbled over his words with his next few sentences, she reached her goal. She adjusted herself once again and took another bite of the potatoes on her plate. Glancing over only to wink at him with a small giggle.
Β»Silas Payne
He made no movement to leave, as always so long as she needed him he would be there. So when she finally pulled away and fixed his shirt he smiled softly, hearing her laugh was like hearing angels sing. He was glad she was calmer now, it was all he wanted, her happiness was all he needed in life. My husband the words echoed in his mind for a moment, a blush starting to form on his cheeks. Had she not started to loosen his hair a bit he would have been rubbing the back of his neck nervously. But instead he just chuckled and fixed his coat a little.
Her lips pressed against his for a moment that was far too short for his liking but he was being rushed out before he could move to fix that. As he left he tilted his head back and waved. "Goodbye wife, I'll see you at the altar." He grinned, he was never going to stop calling her that. Once back in his room he was able to remove the blind fold, he'd been told to keep it on till he was returned to his quarters just in case. So of course like the good boy he was he did as he was told. He thanked Bernice before she left, noting that he'd needed that as well. He'd been worried about her and how she was holding up this whole time and he made sure she understood he appreciated how much she cared for the soon to be queen.
Then it was time. He walked to the altar greeting his family as he did, everyone was done up, the girls all looked beautiful in their fanciest dresses, hair done up and make up all done by Xim he was sure. He took a deep breath straightening himself as he stood to wait, of course he greeted the priest and thanked him for coming as soon as he got up there, making momentary small talk. And as usual Gael managed to wiggle out of the Queens grasps and slam into his leg for a moment. He laughed as he pat the small boy on the head and pushed him off in the direction he needed to go. Of course he had to promise him some sweets later if he behaved. As if he wasn't going to be getting some of their wedding cake as it was.
He waited what felt like forever up there for her. And he would have waited longer if that is what it took to call her his wife for the rest of their lives. But as the music began the man stood taller. The doors opened and his eyes instantly fell on her, he couldn't see her face through the veil at his distance, but he already had butterflies in his stomach. Her dress was beautiful and complimented her so perfectly. It was very fitting for his flower as well. Her hair lay perfectly, for what was the first time he could think of that it had so tamed. He loved the wild look but like this she was torn straight from the pages of a fairy tale. She stumbled a bit and he shifted like he was going to help, but the king held her up. The first time Silas had seen this man support his daughter since he'd arrived. A good sign. But then he noticed, the bracelet. Perhaps she forgot to put it on?
His mind was quickly pulled away as he could hear the murmurs as well, not as clearly as she did he was sure but he'd caught bits of it. Anyone he could pinpoint earned themselves a stern glare from either one of the four eldest. One woman even got a side eye and cleared throat from his mother. She was having none of that on this sweet girl's day. Talulla was doing fine and anyone else could leave without cake or food as far as she was concerned. Of course this wasn't her place but she had her ways she'd figure something out.
As she drew near Silas bowed to her father, offering him a small smile, unaware of the fact that the bracelet was broken and of what was in a way the kings fault. The princess' reaction would not have been one of such instinct had it not been drilled into her. When the king passed her to him, he took her hand in his guiding her to her position finally and taking her other hand in his. "You did it." He whispered softly as he ran his thumb over her hand in an effort to calm her down. "Just focus on me, no one else." The prince and king to be paused for a moment, "You did wonderfully, and we are almost done okay?"
The priest cleared his throat a little, he'd let the boy reassure her long enough her thought. Silas glanced at the old man for a moment and stood up straight giving her hands a couple of small playful squeezes. He didn't let go either, Silas didn't know if she was going to be able to stand on her own in that moment. So like he said, he was there to catch her. Words were said and the time came for them to exchange their promises to each other. The vows that would bind them together forever. Silas nodded before speaking, still she was covered by the veil but he could see her faintly so he smiled softly. "It has not been long since I came here, only a week ago I arrived in a kingdom I'd never seen with promises to marry a woman I'd never even seen. But from the moment you sat down to the breakfast, you'd stolen my heart. Talulla, you are the angels themselves on earth and I've never been luckier to have someone by my side. I promise that I will always be beside you, no matter the hardship you will always have me to fall on, and I've never been more honored to welcome someone into my heart as you. You are like the sun itself breathing life into everyone and everything, I promise to love you, and nurture that light, that radiance till is shines so brightly that no candle can stand against you. I love you Talulla, for now and forever." He gave her hand another small squeeze. It was then that once again Gael wiggled out of the Queens arms and raced toward Talulla. The small boy threw his arms around her and jumped up and down far too excited. " I love you too!" Gael giggled.
"Gael!" His mother hissed, her eyes were wide and her cheeks flushed. Of course her youngest wanted to tell Talulla how much he loved her too, after all she wasn't just marrying Silas, but the whole family. The small boy glanced at his mother before holding his arms up to Talulla, grasping at the air, wanting uppies.
"We love you too!" The second and third eldest brothers whispered. His brothers laughed quietly earning themselves a sharp glare from their mother as well who tapped them lightly on the arms before the cast concerned looks between themselves and Silas. Of course Silas gave them no pity, they had that coming. Plus, she was his like he said now and forever. Well, and Gael's, he couldn't say no to that sweet face.

Maewen She had already started eating the mush when she sat down with Les, she wasn't kidding when she'd said she was starving. Of course she'd paused long enough to talk, she had some manners. Not a lot of them, but enough to swallow her food before talking. He never did answer her questions fully. She didn't mind though, Maewen was usually less abrasive when she came back, too tired to be annoying. That was fine though, he hadn't cleaned off what remained of his previous shell off the new one, it hadn't been very long. She was dense but not that dense. She smiled softer this time at the man's comment about her brother being glad she was in one piece again. Calar cared deeply for the woman, sometimes too much for her liking. He'd gone from being behind the scenes finally after years of earning that position to being pulled back to front lines simply to be near her. Her brother had the choice to stay, in fact most insisted he stay back and help plan battles, but his reasoning had been that he'd be better at planning if he was right there seeing things going on. The real reason was to watch over Maewen. So he put himself in the line of fire to keep her from setting on fire. But, as this recent revival would have it, she did it anyway.
She didn't want him protecting her, she had lives to spare now, he didn't. It was part of the reason she rushed into battle and was so reckless with her power. If she was off the field so was he. If she died, he wouldn't have to. "I'm sure he will be, I'll get a strong hug and a scolding for not listening." The girl laughed ever so slightly. More pushing air out then anything else. She knew Calar came from a good place in his heart, but would they really be siblings if she was super nice all the time?
Feigned sickness huh? She knew how that felt. His confession made her laugh, "You and me both. I can't wait to take a bath and a nice nap. My shoulders can hardly move anyway, wouldn't be very helpful on the battlefield if I can't even lift my sword yet ya know?" She ate some more of her food, it was warm, unlike the air outside and too far from the small fire inside. "I won't tell anyone if you d-" The freckled woman paused as a familiar voice spoke to them, fed and dressed? No time to soak and enjoy her time off it would seem. She pouted a little as the thin man left as quickly as he had entered.
"How much you want to bet we just happened to be the most readily available test subjects." She quirked a brow at him, "That or we did something wrong. With my luck it could be either one." The woman ate more of her food, "Best not to keep him waiting too long I guess?" It didn't take long for her to wolf down the rest of her food. Rather unlady like, but then again she'd never been known for that anyway. "Well. I'm going to get dressed, probably warmer than this blanket anyway. The way I see it, the faster this is over the faster we get to have a bath."

MaewenAs quickly as her life had ended the fiery red-head sat up with a sharp gasp. Instinctively she covered herself, knowing she probably wasn't alone and definitely wasn't clothed. She blinked adjusting to her surroundings for only a few seconds before a fit of coughing ensued. Breathing in her own ash was almost as bad as becoming the ash. The last thing she remembered was running off, her brother yelling at her in the distance and then the searing pain of her dramatic explosion. At least she'd taken a couple Selvans with her. She assumed at least, she couldn't really see through the blinding light she'd created. Speaking of her brother though, he was going to be so mad when he found out she was awake. She distinctly remembered the "Get back here!" That faded into the distance before darkness encapsulated her.
Now that she was done coughing she grabbed her blanket that was near by, so Calar had been there recently. He must have stepped out to talk to someone or something, but that meant he'd be back soon as well. Time to go, he would need time to cool off before she was able to talk to him again. "What is going on right now?" She asked, not that she'd bothered to look around if there was anyone there, she just assumed. Once her question was answered she wrapped the blanket around herself, a makeshift dress so she didn't have to hold it, and stood up. She was hungry, she always was after dying. Maewen had barely noticed the soot the dotted her skin, she was more focused on the other pile of ash. It looked like she was going to have someone to talk to. Now who it was that died around the same time as her? She didn't know, nor did it matter Mae talked to anyone. Sometimes annoyingly.
Once she got all her answers, to the several questions she had she left and headed to the tent that had been set up for them. The woman walked on the balls of her feet since the snow was cold against her toes. It was supposed to be spring, she hated the cold. Her body was sore as per usual, in fact it was hard to move her shoulders everything seemed to creak as she made her way to what she hoped would be warm food and some warm clothing. Once she walked in she greeted the younger man with food with a big grin. "Thanks kid. I'm starving!" She looked around the tent and her eyes landed on one of her fellow phoenixes. Everyone in the tent looked tied and beaten up. It looked like the battle hadn't gone the best. Well, at least they had each other and the people who were here were alive. Even if they were missing their arm.
Sitting herself near Les, the woman offer a small smile. "How long have you been up for? I'm hiding from my brother who is likely to tear me a new one since I went out not listening again."
