Anya witnessed the exchange and desperately tried to think of a way to break up whatever squabble they were having. It was clear Seth had been right about hard feelings between them, but she wasn't sure why. Yeah, family have fights, but they could usually resolve it fairly quickly. At least in her household. She felt like there had to be something she could do. At the same time, however, she felt like maybe she shouldn't get in between them. If things got out of hand, Seth might end up leaving or Callum would be in a bad mood the rest of the party. Either option will disappoint Cresseida and Cami. Not wanting either to happen, the woman walked up and physically separated the two men. "I don't really think it matters much. He's here, and he brought a band. One that shouldn't go to waste," she told them, hoping the change of topic would smooth things over for a bit. (It's all good. There's not much she could do in this moment anyway, so don't worry about it. ^^ )
Once he was settled into the back seat, Matthias and Stitch wrapped the blankets they had brought around him as well, creating a little nest or cocoon with only his face showing. It took only a minute or two for them to situate him, and then Matthias was out, both back doors were closed, and the dark haired male was behind the steering wheel once more.
"Hang on. I apologize now if I will be driving more crazy than normal," Matthias told her. With that, he started the truck and made as sharp of a U-turn as possible. Then they were speeding off the way they had come.
All the while, Stitch softly spoke to Dallas, trying to keep the boy focused and awake for as long as possible. He started out with simple things, like telling him who he was, who was driving. Then he asked him to name everyone in the house they lived. There was fourteen people under one roof, a roof that had been renovated plenty of times to accommodate so many. Dallas's replies were slow and mumbled, but they were correct if not clear. That was all that matter.
The drive back to the Pack's home was a good twenty minutes away. Ten of those minutes consisted of going down a long, deserted looking dirt road. "Sketchy as this may seem, I promise, you're not in any danger," Matthias told Adelaide, just to be on the safe side. Eventually, they pulled up to a lone, well kept house in the middle of nowhere. Before they even pulled to a stop, there were people flooding out of the house, waiting for them to approach. Each one wore a face of worry and concern. Those who had been awake when the two left were briefly told Dallas was hurt. They, in turn, told the others as they woke. Now, a good seven people were on the porch, waiting to see what had happened to the young member of their family. [ Hey, Sorry about being mia the last two or so days. I've been super crazy busy with work and life. ] Adelaide peered into the backseat watching silently as Matthias and Stitch wrapped the other blankets they had brought. 'I don't that he could barely move, even if he tried.' She thought quietly to herself, as she turned back and looked the through the windshield as Dallas hopped into the driver's seat and began to drive. She was admiring the mountains as she watched the landscape continuously changed the further away they drove. She played with a few silver locks of her hair as she listened to Stitch's voice, as he continued speaking to Dallas, trying his best to keep him awake.
She smiled looking over at Matthias, " I hope not, I definitely would not be worth using this much gas to transport me somewhere, just so you could hurt me." She peered over her shoulder once more looking at Stitch and then Dallas, and then finally shifting back to the road in front of them. Adelaide was relieved once they finally pulled up to a house. More so because she knew they could finally really start to take care of Dallas, and get him feeling better. Her eyes widen in disbelief as she watched all the people begin to pour out of the house. 'How could this one house, house this many people???' She thought as her gaze began shift from one face to another.

"Grab them then," Stitch said. He packed everything back into his bag, not caring if it was organized or not. There would be time for that later. While Adelaide went to collect her items, Stitch spoke to Dallas, trying to get the boy to talk to him. No doubt he would be exhausted and on the edge of his limits. The fact that he clung to consciousness now was impressive, but Stitch knew it wouldn't last. Too much blood had been lost, and if the shock wasn't dealt with, it could be just as deadly as the injuries themselves.
"Those will do just fine," Stitch told her when she offered up the blankets. He hated to use them and get them covered in blood, but they were closest and could be washed. If they were ruined, he would buy her new ones to replace them. With the help of Matthias, he wrapped the blankets around Dallas, covering as much of him as they could. Once down, Stitch carefully lifted the boy into his arms. It was a little awkward, but the man made it look as if lifting up Dallas's dead weight was the easiest thing in the world. Matthias ran over to the car and opened one of the back doors before climbing inside. He would help get Dallas inside, then leave Stitch to tend to him during the trip back home. Adelaide nodded in response to Stitch. She ran back to her car one last time grabbed a bag and shoved in two changes of outfits and dog food. She slammed her car door shut and locked the vehicle with the key fob. She rushed back over to her dog she looked towards the men and said, "I'm ready, let me just throw my dog in the back of the truck. She won't jump out I promise, she's very well-behaved." She said as she ran towards the truck, throwing Stasia into the back of the truck. Once again she rushed back to the men, looking down at Dallas she frowned slightly.
Adelaide followed the men as she watched Stitch pick up Dallas and rush him into the back seat of the truck. She began to worry slightly, she felt as if something was terribly wrong. She couldn't help but feel that way, but instead she climbed into the passenger seat of the Silverado, as there wasn't any room for her in the back. As she hopped in she slung the seat belt across her chest.
Click
She peered over her shoulder looking back at Stitch and then down at the wrapped up Dallas, he almost looked like a blanket burrito with how well Stitch and Matthias had wrapped him.
{ Sorry it's incredibly short, I was just having a really hard time trying to think of content I could use to respond. Dumb writers block }

" I don't think I would mind too much, I'm used to it," She said giggling at Matthias. She was referring to her parents not that he knew though. She looked over at her dog, still over by the tree log Dallas had originally stumbled over. She patted her thigh lightly coaxing her dog to come towards herself and the three men, only to give up a few moments later as the dog had not budged an inch. She looked back at Stitch has he got closer to finishing up on Dallas. She looked at his wounds as she watched Stitch finish up working on Dallas, they looked much nicer now being sewn and cleaned up. They would heal well, but he would most likely still scar.
Adelaide froze as Stitch spoke to her, I just need my bag of clothes and well, my dog? I can't leave her out here. Is that fine? If not I understand. I do have a few blankets you can wrap him up in though.." She said quickly rushing to her car and removing two blankets. She held two up and looked at Stitch and Matthias, "Will this work?" she said as she moved back towards the two men.

"Nonsense," Matthias told her. "If it hadn't been for Dallas, you might have already got gas and been on your way. He's held you up for a little bit, so we don't mind returning the favor. I work for the mechanics in town. I'm always offering people passing through with car troubles a place to stay. You won't be imposing." He wasn't lying, mostly. He did work for the mechanic in town, and sometimes he would offer certain people a place to sleep for the night until they figured out a game plan. He never did it too often. It would put his family in danger as well as make a couple of them mad. But this girl was barely older than Dallas. While that didn't mean she couldn't be a threat, the man didn't have the heart to just leave her on her own.
"And I can tell you what he was doing. He has a habit of going out for runs in the mornings. He must have parked his car off in the woods somewhere. We'll have to o find it later when he can remember exactly where it is." There was no such car, but the girl didn't need to know.
When everyone was in place, Stitch repeated the process of cleaning and stitching the wound on the boy's leg. Like before, he howled in protest, writhing to get away. He tried to lift his good leg to kick at the doctor, but found it trapped still, not in Matthias's iron grip, but still trapped. Again, if he was whole and healthy, he would have been able to send the girl flying. It was a good thing he wasn't. A few curses flew from his mouth, but Stitch ignored them. It was just a response to pain and his condition. Dallas wouldn't have been stupid enough to talk to him like that on a regular basis. There wasn't much of a choice that she had. She still felt weird accepting his offer though, She had no idea who theses people were. What if they were all just psycho lunatics that lived outside of town? So far they had been nothing but nice to her, but she still couldn't help but feel they weren't being completely transparent with her. She was in no position to decline the offer though.Adelaide nodded slightly to Matthias, "I really appreciate your generosity towards me."She said a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. It wasn't common for Adelaide to feel appreciated, mainly due to her parents and the way the treated her for so many years. The very reason that drive her away from home the night before, and well, turned it into miracle. 'To think if I hadn't left last night, who would have found Dallas? Would Matthias and Stitch even be here right now? Or would he have already passed out from the amount of blood loss he had endured?', Thinking silently to herself as she continued to process the offer from Matthias.
"Hmm, well I guess it was a good night for me to decide to move out. He really would have been out of luck if I hadn't decided to move. If you'd like, I'm not much of a doctor or even have any experience of caring for someone, but I'd like to help in some shape or form for your generosity towards me. I'm sure both you and Stitch are incredibly busy men, I wouldn't mind watching over and taking care of Dallas from time to time." She said, looking over at both Matthias and Stitch before adding, "Of course you'll need to show me a few things like, taking care of his wound cleaning it and how to dress it. But other than that I'd be a great babysitter" She joked, her smile reappearing on her lips.
"Maybe I'll rescind my offer.."She said half kidding, after she began watching Stitch as he began to stitch up the leg wound. She frowned as Dallas attempted to lift this leg, only for her to place more of her weight on it, which wasn't much but was something. She attempted to soothe Dallas, "Hey, hey, it's alright. It's almost over. You're gonna be alright.."She cooed, trying to relax him so not only he felt better, but so that Stitch could finished faster.

Adelaide smiled at Matthias's comment, " You've got that right!" She said in response smiling slightly as she looked down at Dallas." Are you sure? I really don't want to impose, plus I have my dog with me. I really don't want to be too much of a hassle. You guys probably already have a lot going on, not to mention even more now because of this little incident." She said biting her lip anxiously. 'What am I thinking? I don't even know these people... But I really do need the gas, and I'm getting hungry...Oh well, If I die, well... I die',She thought to herself.
"I do wonder what he was doing out here all by himself, and well, half naked..."She said softly
She then turned back to Stitch and nodded at his comment, maneuvering herself ever so slightly so she could straddle his good leg, each of her legs on either side of his. She decided to do this instead of just plainly sitting on it for the simple reason that she was a very small girl, reaching 5'2 at best, weighing in around 110 lbs. She was a tiny 'ole thing. She thought she could best place her weight on him while holding him down this way.

She winced slightly as she watched Stitch begin to puncture the flesh surrounding the wound with this needle, beginning to stitch Dallas up. After watching for a few moments she couldn't muster up enough courage to watch anymore and turned in response to Matthias, all the while still holding Dallas and said, "Well, he's very lucky to have someone like you two in his life. Especially having one of you as a parental figure. " She said thoughtfully, adding a small mumble at the end, "That's more than my parents have ever done for me."
She then looked down at Dallas, "Hmm, Dallas...Well, I'm Adelaide, I'm sorry these were the circumstances we had to meet on." She then looked back at Matthias and said, "Well, as soon as you guys are good to go, I'll be out your hair, I gotta start making my way into town for some gas. My car ran out, thankfully for Dallas that is, or you guys might have never found him.."

"That's true, I guess." She said as she began to think about how true he really was. She never really thought of it like that before, until now that he mentioned it. 'Good thing I remembered how to keep someone alive rather than to fill up before running out of gas',She thought to herself.
Looking over to Matthias as he answered her question, she furrowed her brows at his response," I'm confused, what do you mean bail people out of trouble? Are you a cop?" She asked confused at his response. This experience was getting more and more weird by the second, but she couldn't do much. She had no gas, and well, she wasn't just gonna ditch halfway through the janky surgery of sorts that Dallas was about to go through.
She turned her head away as she heard Dallas screaming in pain. She then looked up at Matthias and then over to Stitch, "Is he gonna be okay, or well, even gonna make it?" She asked, almost too scared to hear what their reply might be. She continued to hold Dallas steady and push down on his abdomen, more so, so that they could hurry and get this over with for Dallas, and maybe even give him some pain meds so that he'd start to feel better and not be in so much pain.
Meanwhile, Stasia was seated behind the log, peering over watching all three of the men besides Adelaide.

She nodded in response to stitch and began to reapply pressure onto his leg, looking up at Dallas to make sure she wasn't hurting him too much, only to have her attention redirected towards Stitch as he spoke to her about Dallas' shoulder, nodding once more she said, "I've watched waaaay too many crime tv shows, and that seems to be only thing to stick with me about wounded people" She joked, as a second man appeared.
Adelaide peered up at this man, acknowledging him to be one she spoke to on the phone. 'I thought he was the doctor though...'"So are you both house visit doctor's He was very insistent on me calling you, instead of going to the hospital?" She said curiously, wondering what they would say to her.
She then snapped her attention back to the one working on Dallas, as he spoke to her, nodding her head acknowledging his order. She braced herself for what was about to come, she didn't do well with those in pain. Something about it just made her stomach flip upside down and inside out of itself. She placed both hands on Dallas now, one holding his wounded leg and the other on his abdomen, hoping that would help to steady him as well as, assist in helping him be pushed down when he began to move.

Once he was done drinking the water and turned his head away from the bottle, she slowly placed the cap back on and placed it down beside her. "You're welcome, hopefully that helped cool you down in this heat.."She said right before she uncapped the bottle once more and took a few sips. The water making her feel refreshed and cooled down a bit. For the next twenty or so minutes she just sat quietly beside him, still applying pressure to his wounds and just to keep him company til his 'doctor' arrived.
She snapped her head towards the rumbling noise of a car quickly approaching, the shape of a vehicle quickly appeared, a wave of relief washing over her as the grey Silverado came to a screeching halt besides them. Her studied the person who jumped out of the passenger side of the truck. As soon as the tall man ran over, Adelaide figured it would be best if she got out of the way. She got off from the ground beside Dallas and stood beside them, looking down now at both the men. She watched as Dallas struggled to keep his consciousness, which made her worry even more. 'I'm sure he'll be fine, he obviously trusts this person.', She thought silently to herself, only to have her thoughts interrupted by the voice of the tall man, "I uh, he has the wound on his leg, his shoulder is beat up pretty bad, and then he has that wound on his arm.."She struggled to get out, feeling almost flustered by the question. She watched as he opened up his bag, pulling out the thin piece of rubber. She winced as she watched him tie it around Dallas's leg.
"Do you need me to do anything? How can I help?" She asked as she watched the stranger. She had absolutely no idea what she could possibly do, but it wouldn't hurt to ask if there was anything she could do. She didn't just want to stand there and feel useless, she wanted to at least try to help in some way or another.

She looked down at Dallas as he muttered to her, she frowned slightly, "I hope you're right.."She said quietly all the while thinking to herself, 'These people need to get here, and get here fast. Or he might not make it..' She pushed away the negative thoughts shaking her head. She knew she was doing the very best she could for him currently, given their circumstances. There wasn't really much more she could do for him, other than just wait with him for his people to arrive.
"Let me help you.." She said as she watched his hand shakily reach to grab the bottle. she had tried to give him. She neared the mouth of the bottle to his lips and tipped it up slightly, but not too much, not wanting to spill it on him. He was obviously parched, which wasn't a very good sign. She needed to keep him hydrated as much as possible. It was around noon, the sun was at it's highest peak and was shining down on them. The once warm and soothing rays now flaring upon them.

Hey guys, I know some of us lately have been seeing on the News and Announcements Board and that our beloved site is dying quickly. It broke my heart seeing that and reading the comments on that thread. I've been on the forums since the opening of the original one in '09 when I was 9 years old, and well until now and I'm in college now. The forums have become a sort of home away from home. I've met SO many lovely people who I have been lucky enough to roleplay with and become friends with. I'm not active as much now, and I poof a lot, but I was just wondering is there anyway that anyone knows of how we could possibly boost the forums back up? Get some new rpers/ active people. I hate to admit it but it is so hard to find people to roleplay on this forum anymore because there is just so little amount of active people. myself included. But, I guess what I am saying is, guys lets come together to try and boost back up the forums, whether that be by being more active, or by lowkey advertising it on other forum sites.
{ Sorry if this isn't allowed/isn't posted in the right spot mods β‘ }
