I think I should post a bit about my characters here. I have a ton, spanning since the 2000s! Some aren’t too developed, but others are. They span several fandoms, though I’ll focus more on the warrior cats related ones at first.
I’ll start with the two I created for rps here.
Important note: cats are short-haired unless otherwise stated!

Guppy/Guppykit Age: kit (about 2 moons old) Gender: male Appearance: creamy taupe tabby and white (50% white) with hazel green eyes Model cat: Personality: loud, happy, inquisitive, playful, loves to explore!! Also impulsive, a huge troublemaker, and worries about being liked. Becomes quiet when he’s insecure or something is bothering him. Backstory:Guppy is a kit who has wanderlust big time. Born to a kittypet mother, he was abandoned in the wild when her owners couldn’t find a home for him. He spent a few days alone but never even cared, seeing it as a big adventure. Later he’s found by a patrol and brought back to the clan. Guppy was thrilled to have new friends and happily accepted his new name, Guppykit, and his new family. Now he spends most of his days playing and sneaking out of camp to explore. Because he was always told by his birth mother that he would find a new home, he has settled in very well… despite his wanderlust. Theme songs: Life is a Highway— Rascal Flatts; Roam— The B-52’s Quote: “I can’t help it. I want to see everything and then tell everyone about it!!” (In regards to his wanderlust) Background Info:First kit created to rp here!! He’s still looking for a rp home sadly, but I’m sure he’ll fit in somewhere. Hopefully his story in the rp can start when a patrol finds him and him being taken to his new clan. He was named after the fish his mom’s owners kept in an aquarium. I’ll probably add his application info here too later on as well as more info as I develop him further.
Guppykit’s First Adventure ~Twoleg Nest~
Guppy ran around his mom happily. Something was happening! Her housefolk were busy packing up a small bag. That meant they were going somewhere. And they got the cat carrier out too. Which meant a cat would be joining them.
“I think they’re taking you to your new home,” his mom said. She had a litter before him and was familiar with this by now. She looked proud and happy but also a little sad. “I’ll miss you, Guppy, but I’m sure my housefolk picked out the best home for you.”
“Yay, a new home!! Somewhere else to explore!” The kit paused momentarily when he realized it meant leaving his mom. “I’ll miss you too, mom.”
“Just remember that I’ll always love you. But please behave in your new home! Your new housefolk won’t like you knocking things down all the time,” she teased him as she gave him a few licks on his forehead.
“I’ll try to be good,” he promised as he rubbed against her. They both knew that wasn’t going to happen though. At least not all the time. Guppy was just too playful for his own good. He was into everything, even trying to paw at the fish in the clear box. He liked those fish, esp after his mom told him she named him after them. He hoped his new home would have fish too.
He tried to sit still next to his mom, but it was just too hard. He went back to playing with some of the cat toys.
~On the Road~
Guppy was thrilled when he could finally leave the roaring thing. The cat carrier he was in stayed in the thing as the housefolk opened the door and picked him up, carrying him out. He was excited to be let down so he could explore this new area. It looked amazing. So many trees and he could smell a salty tang to the air.
As he was lowered to the ground, he bounced up and down. Hurry up! he thought. Finally the housefolk put him down, and he took off running in all directions. There was just so much to see here! He didn’t look back as he dashed along the bushes.
He didn’t notice that the housefolk were getting back into the thing, leaving him behind.
Application: || Guppy, Guppykit || tumblepaw || kit || || he/him || no family at the moment || 2 moons || Guppy was abandoned and didn’t realize it because he was having too much fun exploring at first. Later he’s adopted into the clan, which he is thrilled about… though it doesn’t completely cure him of his wanderlust and he’s well known for sneaking out of camp to go explore. || || white with pale taupe tabby patches (50% white) and hazel green eyes || Personality: Guppykit is a happy, playful, slightly impulsive and reckless kit who loves to explore and can be a bit of a troublemaker. He becomes introspective and quiet when something is bothering him or when he’s insecure. He sometimes worries about being liked. ||
If anyone knows an rp who will accept him, please let me know!! Poor little boy is an orphan both in story and out right now.
Update: application pending for Gulfclan; may also apply him to other rps in the future

Tinykit (warrior name undecided) Age: kit Gender: female (she/her) Orientation: undecided Appearance: small lynx point with blue eyes and white paws Personality: quiet, introverted, caring, approachable, unassuming, can be playful at times, bit of an echoist Family: Oakdapple (mother, owned by Slightdapple); rest undecided Clan: AegirineClan Backstory: Born the runt of her litter, Tinykit is a small she-cat who hopes she’ll catch up in size to everyone else. She notices something is wrong in her clan but no one seems willing to explain what’s wrong. She has a fairly normal, unremarkable background. Song lyrics: Oh, Lord, I’m still not sure what I stand for, oh (Oh-ooh, oh, oh) What do I stand for? (Oh-ooh, oh, oh) What do I stand for? Most nights, I don’t know… — Some Nights, Fun Thoughts on Names
kit ~ she/her
Tinykit sighed in. Apparently no one noticed her. Oh well. That was pretty normal. She basically blended into the shadows.
Maybe my warrior name will be Tinyshadow, she joked to herself. But that didn’t make sense because she wasn’t that dark of a cat except in a few places. I think someone else would have better ideas for my name anyways.
When she played clan, she got names like Tinyfoot, Tinytooth, and Tinywing. Those were good names too. She usually didn’t play as leader though. Everyone knew she was bad at coming up with names and just went with whatever everyone else wanted. Never mind she was bad at being leader entirely. She let the other kits play that instead.
I have no idea what her warrior name will be.

Littlesplash Gender: male Appearance: blue classic tabby with white tipped ears and blue eyes Personality: timid, shy, caring, clever, very sensitive, nervous, observant, learns to be more confident Backstory:Littlesplash was born with a seizure disorder. There’s nothing special to it at all and no visions. He has them occasionally, and that’s it. Whether his nervousness is due to his disorder is unknown. He’s just always been that way. When he became an apprentice, he struggled so much with everything to the point that he started disliking the whole concept of becoming a warrior. It was no fun at all screwing up all the time and then being criticized for having tremors that he couldn’t help having or for being nervous. He started to feel calm watching the water come and go in the river. Eventually he started recognizing patterns to this. The river had tides that he could predict. He could tell when it was about to flood or just before it became dangerous. This skill was seen as useful to his clan, and he created his own role in the clan based on it. He has become highly respected for this and earned his name for it. Later he starts applying this to the weather, though his predictions for this aren’t as accurate. He’s still willing to get it down right though! Background Info:Based off a cat who had idiopathic epilepsy from the vet clinic I worked at, which made said cat unique because this is rare in them. Everything else is made up. I gave him the kind of disability story I prefer. I do have a few others who find ways to compensate for theirs too though. Littlesplash was created long before Shadowsight even existed.

Cricketchirp Gender: female Appearance: pale taupe classic tabby with white paws and turquoise eyes; crippled/weakened back leg that she was born with Personality: very self-assured, confident, good sense of humor, positive, stubborn, chatty Backstory:Cricketchirp was born with a bad leg but never let that get her down. Even as a kit, she was telling the other kits off if they tried to pity her or make fun of her for her hoping gait. She isn’t above making fun of her bad leg herself though. She just doesn’t see it as a big deal. While her disability does limit what she can do as a warrior during hunts, she often tagteams with someone and usually ambushes prey that is flushed to her. She is slower with other warrior duties but gets the job done. Cricketchirp has a brother who is a bit protective of her, much to her annoyance half the time. Background Info:She has two versions: one as a background kit in a friend’s comic and another as an intended rp character that didn’t come to pass. That’s why her story isn’t the most complete.

Jayfrost: (extra special cat) Gender: male Appearance: small, solid white cat with blue eyes Personality: playful, kind, patient, quiet, a bit naive, sometimes a little too sensitive, loves to splash and play in water, messy and disorganized, probably need to check on the rest later Backstory:Jayfrost was born mute. His clanmates had varying reactions to this. Some thought he was destined to be a medicine cat as in the clans he belongs to it is the disabled cats who have the closest connection to Starclan. Others saw him as a curse due to him being born to an apprentice and him not having a connection to Starclan at all, which became apparent as he got older. He becomes a regular apprentice and eventually warrior. Due to his disability, his communication skills are very limited. He has no use for descriptive or abstract language when he “talks” to his clanmates. Background Info:Jayfrost is based off the first cat I fostered, way back in the 2000s. That cat was named Jay (for his blue eyes), and he was a silent cat who was possibly deaf (though we could never figure it out since he did respond to some sound). He was always playing with water. I added -frost to his warrior counterpart for the white fur. Jayfrost was created in the mid to late 2000s, I think. He also has multiple counterparts in different stories.

Geckokit/ Geckopaw/ Geckotail Clan: Sawgrassclan Appearance: golden ginger-brown with brown tabby spots and white chest and underbelly (like a leopard gecko); has very vibrant yellow-green eyes; very slim build Gender: male Age: 5 to 5.5 moons Family: Panthergrowl (father, owned by Lea); Moonflight (mother, owned by aquatail); Snakekit (sister, owned by hibiscuspuddle); Crocodilekit (brother, owned by busybee) Backstory: Just a basic clanborn kit. His father is Panthergrowl, but I don’t know if Panthergrowl was a present father or not. Geckokit looks up to him a bit and tries to play with him sometimes. He tries to be a good brother to his sister and look out for her, but her more calm and sometimes anxious personality also gets on his nerves. His relationship with his mom is good as she’s very kind and nurturing. I don’t know what his relationship is like with his brother, but I imagine Crocodilekit is often trying to convince him not to get in dangerous situations. As a younger kit, Geckokit made his first catch on live prey. It was a lizard, but like many inexperienced hunters, he only ended up with the tail as the lizard dropped it to get away. This is where his warrior name comes from, a nod to his first “successful” hunt. Positive Traits:Easy and quick learner Helpful and kind (tries to be) Ambitious Loyal Smart Sometimes can’t sit still Fast Negative Traits:Gets bored very easily Inpatient when bored Sometimes moody Sometimes socially awkward Quote: “Let’s go!!! We’re burning daylight here!!” Background Info:Warrior name is based off the fact that geckos lose their tails when grabbed by them. He won’t lose his, but I thought it was a cute call-back to it. The Mighty Hunterkit ~ he/him ~ 3 moons
Geckokit quietly crept forward, placing one paw in front of the other. Tail level. Eyes on his target. A lizard. It had momentarily paused on a rock. Before it could run, Geckokit pounced and leapt on it. He felt the lizard try to escape his grasp and quickly bit down on what he could. He knew succeeded. He could feel the lizard wiggling around in his mouth. I caught it! Shaking his head in glee, he pranced proudly over to the nursery to show his catch to his mother. He placed it down in front of her.
“Mom!! See what I caught! I’m going to be the best hunter ever!” He looked eagerly at his kill. It was only then that he realized that he hadn’t caught the lizard at all. He only caught its tail! The tail wiggled on ground, whipping to and fro. He didn’t know whether to feel embarrassed or not and looked at his mom awkwardly. He still managed to catch part of the lizard after all, so maybe that counted for something…

Tumblefoot: (namesake cat) Species: domestic cat Gender: male Appearance: Looks like a blue shaded burmilla with blue eyes Personality: cheerful, bit of a jokester, happy-go-lucky, good sense of humor, persistent, impulsive, can’t always sit still, clumsy, not the cleverest cat around, some deep-seated insecurities beneath his cheerful demeanor Backstory: Tumblefoot was born without the natural grace most cats are born with. He is a complete klutz! This was embarassing for him because he worried about living up to his parents, both of whom were highly respected in the clan (either leader or deputy depending on the story). Training was slow and very difficult for him, and he worked very hard to overcome his clumsiness. Thankfully his mentor and the other cats were very patient with him and he came into his own. His warrior name is a reflection of his hard work: it’s to remind him of how far he’s come and all he’s overcome but with some humor. Tumblefoot loves his name. He still feels some insecurity at times but covers it up by making jokes to laugh it off. For the most part he’s just a happy cat. Background Info: I came up with him as a joke about making the worst apprentice. He is circa 2000s in age! Like a few of my cats, he has alternate versions who appear in different stories.
