i like the taste of some alcoholic beverages so i do drink occasionally, but i never have and probably never will like the feeling of inebriation. describing it as "weird" is very valid bc imo that's exactly what it is. very weird. Despite (or maybe because) of my phobia of alcohol and intoxication, I'm also morbidly curious about what it feels like. i can try to describe what being tipsy is like for me? physically you feel just a little bit off-balance, not stumbling or anything but you gotta put in a tiny bit of effort whereas normally it requires no thought at all - gets worse the more you drink. makes my skin feel slightly warm kind of like it does from mild physical exertion. mentally it feels like brain fog, i'm just slower than usual processing things - which also means my filter isn't as good. you ever get out of bed in the morning to pee or w/e while you're still ~20% asleep so you're just a bit off on balance/lucidity? that's basically what inebriation is like. being drunk is quite comparable being very tired. in my admittedly limited experience, how people behave when its 2am (slap happy, grumpy, pensive, etc) is pretty similar to how they behave after a few drinks.

That sounds kinda terrible, ngl. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!
