Well, Thunder gave Sparrowtail a scene or two, but he's pretty easy to take out of the story. Now, HOLLOWSPRING is a whole other level of boring, but maybe I'll get to that later.

Characters don't need to have "daddy problems"... Thunder book spoilers and Wind blurb spoilers: And besides, this arc seems to focus more on the relationships with mothers rather than the fathers of the protagonists anyway. With Sunbeam and Berryheart (in progress of possibly heading for disaster), Nightheart and Sparkpelt (fixed/solved/healing) as well as Frostpaw and Curlfeather (on fire).
Nightheart did mention his father Larksong a few times but doesn't seem to have any issues as well as him being renamed partly to honor his father in terms of appearance, Frostpaw misses Jayclaw, I'm sure and I hope we see his spirit interact with her at some point, Sunbeam cares about Sparrowtail and he does seem to care as well, just not enough to go against Berryheart. Not sure what their relationship will be like by the end of this arc or if he'll either be dead or just dead to her.
The fact that both of her parents (and one of her brothers) went into exile must be pretty hard on Sunbeam though. Especially considering that she's mentioned to at least interact with Berryheart in the Wind blurb. Meaning that she'll go looking for her exiled family members in the next book. But it's not an issue relating back to just her father and instead moreso focuses on her mother.
