As a big Ivypool fan and someone who was hoping for her to get the 2024 SE, I'm just so freaking happy that she is indeed getting it. And that she'll be deputy of ThunderClan (if all goes well).
That being said, I do think there could be a problem similar to Tigerheart's Shadow and River of Fire (how ironic that it's her brother-in-law that this problem is similar to lol).
Because Ivypool's Heart was confirmed to take place at around the same time as ASC #6 (probably titled Star). Although at the time we only knew it as SE 17 and that SE 18 would also be in relation to it.
And that is where the problem comes from.
Since Ivypool's Heart will come out in September (like most SEs) while the ASC finale comes out in November (like most second main series books of the year).
Meaning that there are roughly two months of a gap in between these two books where I personally think it could be already spoilered that Ivystar will happen in her SE and then still "reveal" it in ASC #6.
Of course, that's just a theory for now.
But it really would be similar to how Tigerheart was made leader in AVoS at the end of book five (RoF) but it already got spoiled how it happened in his SE (TS).
I remember initially being a fan of this concept. Meaning Ivypool getting the 2024 SE and it tying into the ASC finale. But that was before she was pretty much confirmed to become deputy only recently and I also didn't really consider the spoiler potential it could have.
Not that this happening would ruin Ivypool's Heart or the potential of her becoming leader for me. But it would still be a pretty huge spoiler for the finale, that's all I'm saying.
Or maybe I was just hoping that Ivypool would become leader before her SE would be released. Although that would have the title reveal be a big spoiler unless it had been kept secret until she became leader in the main series (saying that because her SE has not been officially confirmed on the website yet and was only revealed in terms of a title on Amazon for now).

Or she doesn’t become leader in her Se. It could very well be that the SE will be sort of a lead-up, basically a look at her adult life from warrior to deputy, ending with her still as deputy. And then ASC #6 shows her ascending to the position.

You never know, they might decide to have Ivypool's Heart release in November and Star in September. There are no dates confirmed yet.
But it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to release them as normal and do spoiler-y shit again.

I don't know how to spoiler cover this on phone so...
She could also end up like Crow is now. A dep forever. Or fall to first deputy curse *shrug* Either way, there is no guarantee she becomes leader just because she (if everything goes as planned) is deputy. We will have to WAS.

Yeah, forgot about that even though I was just looking at the date yesterday. Welp. Yeah, they've proven before they don't care how they spoil us...

And then ASC #6 shows her ascending to the position. The HQ article about SEs 17 and 18 already confirmed that both SEs take place during ASC and are in relation to each other though, so there's that. SE 17 (so Ivypool's Heart) was also specifically confirmed in that article to take place at the same time as ASC #6:

Until the blurb comes out, I'm going with journey SE.

God, really hoping it's not a journey book. But given that it's Cherith writing it, there's a good chance it will be one.

I'm really only saying journey SE because it comes out two months before ASC #6. Tigerheart's Shadow came out two months before DN and was a journey SE. Graystripe's Vow came out two months before DW and was a journey SE (the present scenes, anyway).

Yeah, so the odds aren't in our favor (journey books are usually not that great, aside from Hawkwing's Journey. Exceptions to everything).
