They are currently the protagonists related kits
Normally (an exception being made for the fifth arc, the second arc, the third and the sixth arc) we are given an hint for the next protagonists, the arc before they are protagonists, they're usually kits before it happens
Do you think they will be the next protagonists ?
If yes, what do you think they will have to deal with and what their characteristics will be ?
Also, when are the protagonists usually revealed ?
A theory that I hope will happen : in Wind something happens to Breezepelt's daughters (one of them gets a litter and one of the kits is one of the next protagonists), at the end of the arc, RiverClan gets a new leader (tbh it will be interesting if the clan decides to remain leaderless though), since the clan is now stable, we get new RiverClan litters

Considering that I'm hoping that the next arc after ASC will be a DotC sequel and not taking place in the modern timeline, it's a nope from me regarding there being an indication for the next protagonists being Spotfur's kits, Birchkit or any other kit (or cat in general).
Of course, my hope for a DotC sequel as the ninth arc is just a personal preference of mine and doesn't need to (or even will) come true but still.
However, if the ninth arc does continue on to take place after ASC, I'd want it to be take place five to ten years in the future, so not immediately after the events of the eighth arc.
It featuring at least one WindClan protagonist would be great (I already have an OC AU idea with a canon family backstory/tree). Having Birchkit as a protagonist from ShadowClan alongside the WindClan PoV could work as well in this case. But I personally would actually prefer there to be an arc with only one protagonist, which I'm aware is highly unlikely to happen ever since Firestar was the only one to get an arc to himself (the very first).
Wouldn't mind Spotfur's kits as protagonists. That being said, it just seems a tad unlikely that three littermates would be protagonists together again, at this point. The only time we had three siblings be PoVs at the same time was in PoT with the Original Three (Hollyleaf, Lionblaze and Jayfeather). Those three were a special case though , in my opinion, due to them being part of a prophecy (except Hollyleaf, of course).
I don't know but considering that apart from those three, we've only had siblings of two (in TNP with Leafpool and Squirrelflight, OotS with Dovewing and Ivypool, DotC with Gray Wing and Clear Sky, AVoS with Twigbranch and Violetshine) as protagonists in an arc together aside from the exception of those three, I'm not sure three littermates will ever be protags in arc aside from the OG three. Especially since the writing team did have multiple opportunities to have three sibling protags in one arc but did not use those: Bristlefrost had two littermates in TBC which were Thriftear and Flipclaw while Shadowsight from that same arc also had two littermates with Pouncestep and Lightleap, Sunbeam from the newest arc has two littermates as well them being Hollowspring and Spireclaw while Frostpaw also has her two littermates Graypaw and Mistpaw.
I'm just saying, they already had a few chances to make three littermates be PoVs in arc ever since PoT and did not take them (although it should be noted that some of the protagonist siblings without a PoV have played a bigger role in the arcs of their littermates, albeit it usually being one over the other in case of the three litter ones such as Flipclaw in TBC, Lightleap in TBC/ASC and Spireclaw in ASC).

Dawn of the Clans 2 So I really, really enjoyed DotC and would read it again, cause it's so good. The characters were great (most of them) and the plot was awesome (most of the time)! A second series would be nice, perhaps having of of Moth Flight's kits or her grandkits be a POV, and if River Ripple gets a mate in his super edition (don't know how I feel about that) and has babies then we could have his kits as a protag. One of Thunder's Children is defiantly going to be protag if this series comes true. StarClan has problems...again - 20 Anniversary Special Nightheart and Sunbeam's kit who, for the sake of storyline is...Emberpaw, is raised to be their own cat and loves Thunderclan so stinkin' much. But tragically cats begin disappearing from StarClan until Firestar is gone, and it's up to Emberpaw to save ThunderClan The Clans + StarClan, while on his journey to use the Sisters' again he falls in love with a Sister and they save the Clans together or something and have 50+ children, causing more inbreeding.

I think the SneezeHaven kits will have some importance. Being born into a leaderless Clan that's in conflict can be stressful - I wouldn't be surprised if the Erins made one of them an important character or a protagonist after realising the circumstances of their birth.
Birchkit, too. He'd be interesting as a protag.
