"But think of what we risk losing. All our traditions, everything that makes us who we are. Instead, we'll spend all our time running around trying to remember which rocks belong to us." Outcast was released today 15 years ago on April 22nd 2008. It's one of the worst main series book, in my opinion. Mostly due to it feeling like a filler book of sorts for the most part despite taking place during the third arc. Which just had a lot to do with the journey to to the Tribe of Rushing Water, even though the plot did have something to do with the bigger storyline in some parts during that stay (albeit mostly on Jaypaw's end).

Happy anniversary. I haven't read this book in years but I never remember disliking it personally. I'll have to do a whole re-read sometime and I wonder what my opinion would be on it these days.

Happy anniversary! I never really disliked the book either, as it was my first introduction to the Tribe. I'll have to reread it though lol.

Happy anniversary, Outcast! I LOVE this book for the character writing and interactions! I remember reading it while on a little trip with my family and my parent's friends, and my dad got annoyed with me for not putting the book down while we were eating at a restaurant lol
