What do you think of the new ship Sunbeam x Nightheart?
I honestly love protagonist love drama, but not all the time.
Though this one is an exception.
Opinions?

I like Nightheart and Sunbeam together! I think they really listen to each other and try their best to be there for one another. I hope they continue to become closer as the books progress.

Do you mean like how theyโre trying to prove themselves? Or like family tree stuff?

Hate it. I think they're just using one another as a form of rebound (Blazefire for Sunbeam, ThunderClan as a whole for Nightheart) and they're just using each other as emotional crutches for the time being before realizing their relationship's foundation isn't great.
That said though, it would be interesting if this was actually intentional and they both will realize it, breaking off amiciably and staying as friends. They're young and feel alone, and it'd be a nice development and change of pace. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the books portray it as happy and healthy.

If the relationship doesnโt work, I at least want them to be close friends. Nightheart did leave thunderclan for Sunbeam. Some protagonist relationships are good and some are really bad ngl. But they almost always end up the same way in the end, tho I still like them for some absolute reason.

Nightheart ultimately didn't leave ThunderClan for Sunbeam though. He left because of feeling like an outcast/not at home there and because he thought to have been treated unfairly by them. I agree with Hollyfall (and have voiced the same opinion on other threads) that it currently (as of Sky) seems more that Nightheart used his friendship ("romance") with Sunbeam to leave/escape ThunderClan while Sunbeam is (probably unintentionally) using him as a rebound to get over Blazefire. I'm just really hoping for NightSun to not be endgame.
