Depends.
Killing in self-defence — no punishment Breaking Warrior Code #3 in war — confined to camp, possibly stripping of rank Involuntary catslaughter — confined to camp Intentional murder — exile/capital punishment

It depends on the circumstances they killed the cat in. Like Bristlefrost Madrigal said, if a cat kills another in self-defense, I don't think there should be any punishment. If they kill a cat intentionally, they should be exiled. If it was accidental, while it wasn't on purpose, I think they should be kept in camp and kept from going to the next upcoming Gathering to prevent chaos from breaking out.

For accidents, I like the idea that the killer has to atone in a more meaningful way that just camp confinement or demotion. So like they are only allowed out of camp to go on supervised hunts where everything they catch is given to the clan they wronged.
