I know Blossompaw was an asshole to Ivypaw when she was younger, but I ignored that and thought it was cute when the scene of Blossomfall confessing her problems to Ivypool. Ivypool is a good listener. I like this ship.
Please don't get mad at me because I'm shipping two girls. I ship them because Ivypool's a good listener, okay? let me ship them.

it's a toxic ship, so i can see why people would ship it for the angst, but i dont take the ship seriously.

You're free to ship what you like though.

I love the enemies to lovers dynamic, but this ship just kinda ticks me off. I guess it's mostly because of personal reasons, since I can't see myself falling for my bully.
But that's just my opinion, it's okay to ship whatever you want.

I personally don't like the ship but I'm happy others can get some charm from it. I do agree they do have some good moments as Warriors but I still don't really like Blossomfall's treatment of her at times.
Also when I was moving I found some old fan art I made of these two's hypothetical kits when I was like in 6th grade xD I forgot I shipped them when I was younger lolz
I can probably send a picture of it when I get my stuff again

Honestly while I was reading Omen of the Stars and they got lost in the tunnels like I could understand. Don’t know much after that though

I'm not crazy about the ship, but it's not nearly as bad and toxic as people on this forum think it is, like Blosssomfall said a mean thing to Ivypool once as an apprentice and has matured since then, and they genuinely bonded together with their experience with the Dark Forest and in the tunnels.

Even "one mean thing" can be enough for someone to sour a relationship or the perception of an individual (speaking from personal experience here). I'm also not sure about the part of Blossomfall really maturing considering how xenophobic she has been presented to be in more recent arcs. I'd rather ship Ivypool with a she-cat who has a more friendly disposition to complement Ivypool's mostly rougher personality. Also, while their moment in the tunnels was definitely interesting and showed that Ivypool has a softer side to her, it was only that one scene and they are not shown to be friends for the rest of the arc or any following it. Granted, both of them are background characters these days, but still.

I'm not saying I ship it, I don't particularly care for it either way, just that the "it's toxic and abusive" is exaggerated, or else something like FireSand would also be toxic and abusive because she was mean to her in the past but they later formed a bond (and Sandstorm was consistently mean to Firestar, so she was worse than Blossomfall). Yes, Ivypool and Blossomfall's relationship wasn't as developed as Firestar and Sandstorm's because they only had one scene together, but it's not the only ship to consist of cats who had only one good interaction or none, but the point is to imagine the narrative focused more on their relationship. I don't see how it being less developed in canon makes it inherently toxic.

But anyways, considering that I'm not much of a fan of FireSand either, I'm not sure your argument using them as an example in this regard worked, or rather at least not with me. Also, I never said anything about BlossomIvy being bad because they are less developed than other ships. Instead, I merely pointed out that they only have one full scene together during canon in which Blossomfall was nice/opened up towards Ivypool and that they are not shown to even be friends these days. Of course, people can imagine their relationship to have more development in fanon though, be it positive or negative. To me personally, Ivypool just deserves better than Blossomfall.

I don't actually care much about FireSand either, I just know a lot of people on these forums do like it but also hate IvyBlossom and they seem to have a double standard between that ship and IvyBlossom.
