i like to headcanon that when firestar reformed skyclan, leaf was around a year old (meaning she is a year older than squirrelflight, leafpool, crowfeather, and that whole generation born before or during the beginning of TNP). this would make her around 10 or 11 in current times (TBC-ASC)
this means she's getting up there in age.
im curious to know how u guys saw her when she was first introduced. do u think she was only 9 months to a year old or did u think she was 2 years old at the most? that'd make her even older right now, which is sad bc she's the lake's best leader right now imo

I feel like she would be a little over a year old. Young warrior age.

I always assumed she was around Firestar's & Sandstorm's age.

Since the books haven't described her as old like they did Mistystar and Tallstar, I'm going to assume she was only a year or two old.

I always thought she was a young adult, about two years of age.

Yeah, she was probably about 1 1/2 years or 2 years old at the time.

I’ve always thought Leafstar was just under a year old during Firestar’s quest.
Except, it would be funny if she was actually older than Mistystar this whole time

I like to think that the nine lives help the leader live longer somehow. Since deputies are usually not young when appointed, and that they often serve as deputy for some time after that, by the time a cat becomes leader they're usually on the older side. It wouldn't be good for the Clan if their leader could only lead for a few seasons before dying of old age.

I assumed Firestar's age or a little younger, as Firestar never comments on her being particularly young or old.
