Comparing her situation to Dovewing's, how do you feel about how she switched clans?

It’s more annoying because it happened more than once. However I can’t fault her too much because her situation is kind of different.

I don't mind it, it's her leaving the Clan so often is what really annoyed me the most.

I feel like both times she did it was understandable, I have no issues with her switching. I’m fine with Dovewing’s too, mostly, and despite me actually liking Dovewing more I think Twigbranch did have stronger reasons to switch.

I think Dovewing could've handled it better, but I don't mind her or Twigbranch changing Clans. I sympathize with them and thought they switched for the right reasons, unlike someone like Finleap.

I don't mind how she switched Clans. She was discovering who she was and that's a pretty big question to ask a young cat: what will you choose, your family (which you don't know that well, except for Violetshine, and even though not much) or the Clan you were born and raised into? It was mature of her to leave both times before her ceremonies, not after.

twigbranch's switching of clans isnt near as bad as others like dovewings. twigbrnch was having a little internal custody battle. she was raised by thunderclan, but her bio parent came back and turns out he's from another clan. so who does she "legally" go with? staying with the clan she was raised with was simply just the best and most logical choice. her motivation wasnt selfish like dovewing (who i personally see as just putting her happiness above everyone else's which is why i call hers selfish and not twig's).

Basically what everyone else has said. Twigbranch was struggling with finding out where she belonged and what her identity is, and she was still an apprentice. It's understandable that she switched so many times.

I'm okay with it and personally don't understand why the fandom complains about it so much. Twigbranch's situation was completely understandable because she was only an apprentice who was trying to figure out if she should be in her birth Clan, SkyClan, or if she should be in the Clan that raised her, ThunderClan. If she hadn't at least tried to be with her birth family in SkyClan, I strongly believe she would've always questioned her place in ThunderClan or would've had lingering regrets. At least now, she can be 100% sure that ThunderClan is the Clan that she belongs in. Not to mention Twigbranch switching Clans both times all happened within the span of a single book, meanwhile, Dovewing dragged it out across two entire arcs. Both Dovewing's and Twigbranch's situations were completely different, and Twigbranch's situation is definitely more forgivable than Dovewing's situation.

I'm kind of uncomfortable with it. It seems like the biggest example of how the clans have changed from completely individual groups to one large society that can help each other and stand together. But Twigbranch made it look like the borders are pointless. Even if the clans must stand together in danger they are still 5 different clans. I used to love how each clan was unique and how strong each member's loyalty to their clan was.
There will be territory fights as long as there are borders, and there will be times when the clans fight each other. I'm worried that the warriors' loyalty to their clan might weaken. The two things that put aside warriors from loners where starclan and their loyalty. If that wavers it wouldn't be the clans we know. Just a huge group of cats.
