So, a quick, short story, but warrior cats has taught me a lot about mental illnesses. The symptoms, differences, and how they affect you. I was grown sheltered with a protective mother who wanted to protect me from a lot of mean people, so I stayed home most of my life. I still don't mind it, but I wouldn't mind going out with a friend now and then and get a car of my own, haha. But I was so sheltered, I didn't even know what food stamps were back in 2012. I'm 26 years old with more knowledge as a person now, but that's embarrassing to admit how foolish I was about everything back then. But the series has helped me become a more understanding person, especially when it comes to mental illnesses. I was an asshole when I was younger, and still acted like an asshole when I was a young adult because I didn't know any better. Now I find mental illnesses and people an interesting subject to learn and understand instead of judging them for their actions like I used to. I've grown a lot as a person, but unfortunately I've gotten a mental illness of my own and self-diagnosed myself with shnizophrenia. (Yes, I see and hear things that aren't there.) But I do not want to get into that topic. What has warriors taught you?

The warriors series taught me to step up for myself/others and it also taught me to rethink any of my decisions before I act upon it since sometimes what I do can lead to horrible stuff.
I'm the youngest in my family so I'm always getting bullied by my older siblings and by my mom. Because of warriors and therapy I've been defending myself from the hateful words my siblings say to me and I've started making them mad and annoyed because I keep roasting them but hey at least they back away. On the other hand my mom is acting super sweet and kind to me because my medical condition has gotten worse so she's trying to be super nice to me and act like she's done nothing wrong.

Warrior cats hasn't taught me as much mentally, but it has helped inspire me in my writing with all its characters, lore, plots, and writing style. And I can relate to you, Aqua, about having a protective mother who keeps you home most of your life. I've been so sheltered that I developed crippling agoraphobia.

It helped me with my own writing lore, plots, and inspiration.

I personally got used to it and I don't mind that much now. Now I wish I could live a comfortable life like this forever but it probably won't last. Gotta move out at some point, ya know? Plus I have a full time job but I'm on vacation for a month right now haha.

Not as deep as the others, but I have learned about types of plants from Warriors. I mean, I didn’t know what flax seeds were before Flaxfoot, but now I do I guess!
