Hey I'm writing a fairly complex code and I wanted to help myself remember what each div held; is there any way to comment out in bbcode? I'm looking on google and so far I haven't found an answer, which leads me to believe it isn't possible. And the html syntax doesn't work (which is doubly worrying, since a lot of html carries over)
If anyone knows about this, I'd love to know if it is possible. Both for organizing my own code, but also to make it easier for others to use and learn. Thx.

It's impossible unfortunately. I only code in HTML and CSS (among others) and I use the comment out when I need it. The fact BBCode never implemented such a thing is weird to me. I did find some threads about it though. Here's two: BBCode Comments: What They Are and How to Get Around Them & Any way to comment out BBCode in a Post? However, some good news! PB is launching V6 which will have HTML coding instead of BBCode which is coming out in June. We will not have to suffer anymore.

oof that's so cruel.
But the HTML switch will be good... though it's going to be annoying that it'll break everything we already have. Guess it'll be a good opportunity to open a code-swap shop and I can fix everyone else's shop code that broke

Agreed, it’ll be helpful when/if the time comes.
