mossfire ;; Hi and Welcome. I'm not the owners, but I do know that Flick would want for Leila to have a shadowhunter name (see first post) and she'd also like to know which side Leila is on as well as if she's pro/anti-war.

Does she support the Werewolves/Fae or the Vampires/Warlocks? Sorry, last question. It makes this part easy for Flick when she gets on to add you, unless she has other things she wants you to add.

Flickering, I have finally decided on a last name for my shadowhunter siblings. Is Hallownight okay?

|| Lance Maverick || 18 || Male || Mundane ||
Lance is of relatively average height, standing at about 5' 10, with a toned but not overly muscular build. He is of Irish origin on his mother's side, as is evident by his pale skin and blue eyes--though he has a shock of dirty blonde hair, rather than the typical ginger of Ireland. This he gets from his father, and when he doesn't leave it messy he generally spikes up the front. Most often he can be found wearing something or other with a design on it, finding much else too bland and boring. While Lance's appearance is none too outlandish, his personality certainly is. He's fairly friendly, but he's a bit of an introvert, and his somewhat shy nature conflicts with an intense desire for adventure and excitement. As this tends to be in very limited supply in the Mundane world, Lance has developed a certain amount of self-loathing for his species. Gifted with the Sight, he's been branded crazy by much of his family, and has grown jealous of those involved in the Shadow world. Thus, Lance has become somewhat obsessed with becoming anything but human, captivated by all things supernatural and magick, despite his own lack of any inhuman ability. In particular, he's fascinated with immortal species, due to a personal fear of growing old and helpless. Lance had a normal childhood, for the most part, until he became aware of the Sight. For a time, he attempted to ignore it, going as far as to change his diet, and even attempt medications, thinking he must've been hallucinating. When none of this worked, he came to the conclusion that what he was seeing was real--though of course, when he tried to share this with his family, they dubbed him insane, and he dropped the topic before they could toss him in the loony bin. Lance has grown distant from his family since then, instead preferring to observe the Shadow world from a distance. Due to Lance's humanity, his main strength is his knowledge of lore. Though he likely couldn't compete with a warlock who's spent hundreds of years studying the arcane, Lance has devoted countless hours to researching anything having to do with the supernatural. He has, however, also practiced martial arts for a number of years, wanting some way to protect himself, with all the crazy things he knows are out there in the world. His greatest weakness, however, is an obvious one. He's power hungry, and because of this he's easily manipulated. As he's of the mind that once he's able to become more than human, he'll have the power to make up for it, he could be convinced to do any sort of vile acts in order to achieve his goal. He's aware of the war, though as a human he's kept himself out of it, since the Shadow world tends to ignore him if he does the same. However, were he to pick a side, it would be with the Warlocks and Vampires, and he'd support the war for the sake of excitement alone. { Sphinx }
|| Aiden Silverwood || 16 || Male || Shadowhunter ||
Aiden is a tall young man, standing at about 5 ' 11, and not yet quite full grown. That height is accompanied by a fairly lean build; slightly toned, but he's far from a bodybuilder. He has moderately tanned skin, hinting at his foreign background, and a handsome face complimented by a stock of messy, dark brown hair. Though his eyes are normally a similar shade of brown, you'll often find him wearing a pair of colored contacts, giving him the yellow eyes of a cat. Clothing-wise he'll typically grab the first thing he can find, caring little for fashion or cleanliness, and you'll certainly never find him dressed up in a tux. Aiden is, to put it simply, somewhat childish. While he's far from innocent and can deal with tough situations just fine, he tends to behave immaturely. He's a troublemaker who delights in pranks and meaningless fun, and seldom refrains from teasing someone, whoever they may be. Though not really an optimist, you'll never find him in a bad mood, as Aiden tends to cover up such negative emotions with endless amounts of jokes and sarcasm. He enjoys making people laugh, but he's just as likely to startle, scare, flirt, or get on someone's nerves in order to amuse himself. Aiden's a bit of a sucker for being the center of attention, and doesn't really care whether the light cast on him is positive or negative. Lying and tall tales come easily to him, as he's been told to have a silver tongue. Aiden, however, also possesses something of an immortality complex. He's under the impression that nothing can kill him, and thus he'll act recklessly with little regard for his own life, laughing as he takes on tasks that others might deem suicidal. Originally, Aiden called an institute in Egypt home, but this wasn't destined to last. It was in the midst of a terrible sandstorm that the institute was assaulted by a small horde of demons. Though he was terrified, he intended to fight despite being only seven years old at the time--but his parents sent him through the portal to Idris for aid instead. He was too late, however, and he found himself an orphan by the time he returned. The would-be-rescuers brought him back to Idris, where he stayed for some time, before being rehomed in an Institute in America. Aiden is fearless--or at least he acts as if he is. However, this strength could easily be considered a weakness as well, as this "fearless" attitude tends to lead to him being incredibly reckless, with little regard for his own life. Aiden, of course, believes he has no weaknesses, though his greatest is likely his poor social skills. He's not shy or timid; rather, he tends to drive people off and make a lot of enemies with his childish and overly playful behavior. In this war, Aiden wouldn't really put himself on one side or the other. Quite the contrary--he enjoys making trouble for both sides. And though his antics likely cause further hostility between either side, Aiden doesn't really support or oppose the war one way or the other. { Sphinx }
