I'm choosing modules for my university course, and I can't decide between the Crimean War and Roman politics in the first century BC!
Which do do you think would be more fun? The Roman one looks super interesting, and it would be a chance to learn something completely new, but I really like the military history and international relations stuff from the Crimean War one!

I learnt a lot about Roman politics, and I loved that, so I'll say that.

Well, as luck would have it, I can actually do both.
Now, should I have German or Latin as a back-up option in case I can't do Russian?

Deutsch. Most definitely. German's a really fun language to learn.

Now, should I have German or Latin as a back-up option in case I can't do Russian? german has some practical applications but Latin is super good for understanding root words, and i've personally always loved latin. i know a small bit of german as well + i'm a good portion german in ancestry, but still rooting for latin lol
