How did you first start reading warrior cats Did you start on into the wild or a different book Was it a friend or a family member who gave you the first book or recommend it
For me it was a classmate/friend who gave me the first book in 2nd or 3rd (maybe 4th) grade they lent me into the wild which I’m pretty sure I read in less then a week

I remember watching that one Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight map, (I can do anything better than you?) and being semi interested on figuring out who the characters were, although I only got into the series in 2020 because I got the first set of books as a birthday gift

In fourth grade, one of my friends was super into these battle cat books. I thought they looked interesting enough and checked out Dark River from the school library, not sure why though. Not understanding anything at all, I decided to drop the series. Then, in fifth grade I tried it again and actually started on the right book, Into the Wild and continued the series from there.

Well I've always adored cats so searching cats up on YT enough- it became self explanatory. First I found Moon, then Akira, then Tenelle and from there I knew I was invested. For years throughout elementary school so I could keep up with kitty cat gossip and I finally got my hands on Fire and Ice on the third or 4th day of middle school (but I already knew about ITW so I knew what I was getting into-) the only things to catch me off guard were "who are these Redtail and Lionheart guys?" That's it

Back in the days of flash games, I was on this website that had a bunch of flash games based on kids books. I searched up animal books and I came across Warriors. When I went to the old website and I was deafened by the screeching cats intro (I kinda miss it, the new website's loading screen doesn't have much charm to it). I searched for it on youtube and it brought me to SSS Warriors which really inspired me to go buy a book. My country doesn't really have a lot of good bookstores so when I looked for the series, the only Warriors book I could find was Long Shadows. An objectively horrible book to start with but its what brought me into this mess lmao

My dad got Into the Wild (German version) gifted to him by a coworker back in 2006 who thought I might enjoy it. Turns out she was completely right about that.
I only started reading the series in English when translating OotS took too long and my patience ran out. So my mom ordered the entire fourth arc online (as seperate books) in 2012 for me to finally read in its original language (the only reason I'm even able to remember this occuring that year is because The Last Hope was still just available as a hardcover since it had merely been released a few months prior).

My older sister knew I loved cats, and since I was so young, she brought me The Rise of Scourge and I loved it straightaway. Then I read the other manga, including Graystripe's and Sasha's, and then I started to read the series in proper order.

It was when I was on the forums of some video game(Transformice I think?), and stumbled upon people roleplaying warrior cats. I joined the roleplay with next to zero knowledge about warrior cats, only getting my knowledge based on what I saw from other people roleplaying. (which was basically just "a group of wild cats live in Clans and have specific roles." Thinking back, when it came to hunting, everyone always tried to one-up each other, to the point that their OCs caught ridiculous amounts of prey per cat, like 27 or something.) My dad got me the first book, Into the Wild, way before that as a gift because I loved reading back then(still love reading, I just don't do it as much anymore) but I never actually got to reading it until I stumbled upon SSS Warrior Cats way back in 5th grade. Before that, reading the books themselves didn't seem as interesting as roleplaying warrior cats did, but then after watching SSSWC, I found out that that was the actual plot for the books, and then I got hooked.

in late elementary school, i was at my grandparents house with my cousin. she had a copy of the OG cover of TNP: Midnight. i was interested in it because it had a cat on the cover. so i began reading it. but the more i read, the more i was like "hey wait this isnt the first book, is it?" so i looked through the book and saw that they list all the books and i realized there was a first arc. i gave my cousin the book back that day.
so the next time i went to the book store, i made my parents buy me the entire first arc and the rest is history. i own every single book and comic up until around AVOS (thats when i started only getting the first 3 books of the arc if i dont really like it. also didnt buy Tigerheart's Shadow and stuff).

I had just moved to a different state and didn't have many friends yet, so the library was the place to hang out for me. I don't think I picked up ITW on the very first day of school but it must have been early into the year, because I remember reading pretty much the whole thing in one sitting and proceeding to hyperfixate on talking cat books for the next five years.

In 4th grade (a long time ago .-.) one of my friends had a Warriors themed birthday party, I read like the first few chapters of Midnight then realized that that wasn’t the first book. Read all of the books through 4th-8th grade and stopped when The Last Hope came out. Flash forward to 2018 I was looking at the wiki from time to time and saw that one of my favorite characters now had kits, and came back and skimmed through AVoS and TBC

A few of my best friends growing up had been into Warriors for years. I had absolutely refused to get into anything that was popular at the time, and I hated reading, but after playing “warriors” games with them they finally convinced me to read the first book and I was HOOKED. I would go to the book store with my dad every week and would need to buy like 4-5 books because I was reading them that fast. I ended up losing interest mid-OOTS.
At some point (around 2017) I ended up just looking into the forums again randomly because I was super nostalgic, and then I ended up looking into the books again. And here we are five years later. I ended up re-reading everything, up until where I had left off (about half way through OOTS - I hadn’t read The Forgotten Warrior yet but I had been around when Hollyleaf “died” and for the first few books of OOTS. When I got back into the books they were in the middle of AVOS.

My older sister gave me The Rise of Scourge because she knew I liked cats and comics. How SHE got into Warriors was that her school librarian recommended it.

My mom was like "hey this book looks cool" and I was like "yeah it does" and read it. It was Seekers: The Quest Begins. I liked it and ended up deciding to check out the other series written by the same (totally singular) author, and that is how I became a battle cat addict.

I would see YouTube videos of Warriors then I got interested so I downloaded the app (the old version) read the excerpt for ITW, and got hooked. Me and my mom went to a mall and we saw a little girl holding a bag of books walking out of B&Ns, that’s the first time I’ve heard of that store, so we went there and asked if they have Warriors and they said they did then I got ITW. That was back in 2015, to this day I still read the series and I have about all the books in the series.
