((I can start. Was considering using my fox or dog wolf thing does it matter to you? Or would you prefer me to use my cats?)) (Either is fine. I don't mind a fox/dog wolf adopting one of my kits. ) Shasta padded through the camp scanning the cave for any sign of movement. She was looking for Dark sky before dawn but how does one look for something they can't see. "Dark!" She called gently. "Are you here? I brought some prey." The wolf-dog hybrid sat down to wait. She wasn't sure how the kit would feel about her even if she was one of the workers but she had become quiet curious about the invisable kit lately.

(Yes it is the one and only Winter! Hey tucker! And yes yellow)
The she-cat nods curtly and steps through the yellow portal. You an faintly hear her purr as she vanishes.

((Its been so long! How are you?))
The she cat appears in what looks like a nice two-leg garden with paths and tons of flowers and statues. A warm breeze blows through the plants as the sound of a bubbling fountain mixes with the chattering of birds. A small voice cuts through the sounds. "Almost had it that time!"

(Yeah sure! See you later! Also "Without waiting for an answer she babbled on" That made me laugh.XD) Cloud looked at her and shook his head. "No it didn't. Why, what am I missing here?" He asked the kit with a tilt of his head. So she was Rainshine's daughter. Huh, interesting. He could actually see the similarities between them now he looked. ((so funny seeing as she is Rainshine's adopted daughter lol.)) Daisykit sighed in relief. "Ever since she was styled Rainkit has had a problem with the power she was given. She can't control it and its really powerful. Robin gave her a pendant to wear to keep it under control but she worries it will hurt others. She doesn't think anyone would want her and she is afraid her power will hurt them if they do want her." ('Ay! Sorry but I actually have to go for about three days, but I will be back!) Cloud tilted his head slightly to her and nodded. So that was the pendant she was wearing. It had never even crossed his mind that she might have powers. "Oh. Well I-" He stuttered, unsure of what to say. "We'll that won't stop me. We can learn to deal with it." He said clearly. He wasn't going to let something like that scare him away from trying.

Daisykit smiled at him brightly. "I am glad, she needs someone good. Just know that she gets worried and upset easily. Sometimes its better to not push to hard either." The tiny she kit looked thoughtful. "Having her friend Shadow there might help. I think if you can convince her to try learning to control the power it will help."
((Its fine just let me know when your back and want to continue.))

(Oh I will!)
Cloud nodded. He found it funny he was taking advice from a kit, but he figured she would know much more about her then he did so he didn't mind. "Thank you, I'll do whatever I can to help her." He said with a soft, thankful smile.

Daisykit nodded. "I bet she is calmed down now. She is probably telling herself you have left and its better this way." Daisykit shook her head. She padded off a little distance before turning around. "Good luck!"
((Daisykit is alot like her adopted mother and one of those old soul types.))

A warm breeze blows through the plants as the sound of a bubbling fountain mixes with the chattering of birds. A small voice cuts through the sounds. "Almost had it that time!" (It has! I'm doing alright for myself. I've moved, I have a job, AND a girlfriend!) The older fluffy white she-cat pricks her ears up. "Hello?" She softly calls. She scans the immediate area for the source of the voice. As she scans the area she is taken back by the beauty of the garden before her.

((Oh wow congratulations on all the above!))
A tiny white she kit's head pops out from a near by bush. "Hi who are you?" The kit smiled up at the other cat. "Can you help me and my brother?" She asked with out waiting for the other cat to introduce herself. A moment later a tom cat followed the kit out of the bush. "Lily what have I told you about talking to strangers?" He scolded. He appeared to be about the age of an apprentice.

(Thanks!)
The she-cat let out a murrow of laughter. "Well Lily, I'm Winterstorm. It's a pleasure to meet you. And this must be your brother." She dips her head to the pair. "Help? Of course I can help, assuming it's okay with your brother. What do you need little one?" She softly smiled at the pair and did her best to look like her age wasn't effecting her.

((Aw bless old Winterstorm... I saved the front page of the old broken clan adoption center in my memories page on this site if you get to feeling nostalgic!))
The calico tom watched the new cat slightly warily but he glanced down at his sister's small form and sighed. "I am Koi. Lily and I could use some help." He looked embarrassed. Lily bounced around the new she cat. "Can you teach us to hunt like wild cats?" She asked. "Lily!" Koi looked horrified and worried at the same time. "You will have to excuse her. We- we used to live around here with some house folk but they moved... and... well I don't know how to hunt and Lily is hungry."

(Oh my! You have it after all this time?!)
Winterstorm nodded at Koi and then Lily in turn. "Ah, I see. So You want to learn the ways of us warriors? How to fend for yourselves? Very well. I'll do my best to mentor you both." She purred softly then crouched down to be on Lily's level. "If it's alright little one we usually don't teach ones as young as yourself how to hunt. It can be a rather difficult task for such small paws. But I'd gladly teach you how to track prey to help your brother and myself." She let a soft smile spread across her face.

Koi nodded solemnly. "I want to learn how to help us both out." He would like to find a home for them as well but he didn't mention it. Lily's eyes sparkled in the sun light. "I want to learn! I promise to be the best hunter you ever taught." She purred with pride and confidence. "How do we start?"

Winterstorm dipped her head. "We start by learning how to crouch and stalk prey." She purred out. It had been many moons since she had taught any kit how to hunt. "Do as I do." She started by lowering her body to the ground. Her belly fur just barely brushing the grass below her. Then she slowly crawled forward, very light on her paws, inching forward towards a lonely flower growing in the grass.

Koi followed her instructions but was a bit clumsy in his attempt. At first he was too low and made far to much noise but he quickly backed up and tried again. This time pulling of a fair imitation of Winterstorm's movements.
Lily watched closely before sinking down into the crouch. She moved forward silently but her tiny tail stuck straight up in the air. "How'd I do?" She asked clearly pleased with herself.

"Very well done Koi. A bit more practice and you'll be a master. And Lily, keep your tail down. You did very well for your first try!" She beamed at the two. "Now that you understand how to stalk prey, we learn to find it." Winterstorm opened her mouth and tasted the air. "Use your mouth and nose to smell any prey around." She closed her eyes and scented the air. Very faintly picking up on the scents of mice and birds. But the strongest scent by far was that of a vole somewhere in the garden they were in.

Koi closed his eyes and concentrated. He breathed deed and opened his mouth to funnel in the scents around him. He opened his mouth to answer what he scented but his sister answered first. "I smell birds and mice and voles and flowers!" She answered in one long stream.
Koi waited for her to calm down and quit talking before answering. "The vole is closest." He responded quietly.

"Very good both of you!" She praised. "Now Koi, I'd like you to drop into the crouch I taught you and stalk towards the vole you scented. I'll be just a paws step or two away should you need help. Once you find it put your tail up like this." She showed Koi the signal for stop. "Lily I think it would be best if you watched how your brother does."

Koi nodded and took another deep breathe to center himself before moving into his crouch. He carefully stalked forward moving closer to where the vole sat unaware. Lily was fairly vibrating with excitement. Koi raised his tail careful not to scare the prey. He worried his sister would scare it in her excitement. She had already frightened everything else he had found.

Winterstorm followed Koi. She slowly nodded the whole time very impressed with his natural talent. When he signaled stop, she crept up next to him. She flashed him a smile before leaping forward and pinning the vole down. "Very well done Koi! Very well done indeed. Did you see how well your brother did Lily?'

Lily nodded. "I did! That's cause he is the best brother ever!" She purred as Koi felt his pelt warm in a blush. "Thanks I have been trying for a while but this is the first time I really got this close." He refrained from mentioning his attempt at catching koi fish from a nearby pond. That had been most embarrassing.
Lily crept up to Winterstorm watching the vole she had under her paws. "I have never had one of those before."

"They are rather good especially a fat one like this." Winterstorm purred. "Now the last step is to kill it." She quickly bit it's neck the the small creature stopped struggling. "There, done." She took a step back and dipped her head. "Please, eat." She smiled and stalked a little while away to the pond she spotted during her scan of the garden.

Koi felt his stomach growl at the scent of the vole but he stayed back from it allowing his sister to eat. He watched her try the prey cautiously before obviously deciding it was great. He turned to Winterstorm. "Where do you live?" He asked.

Winterstorm dipped her paw in the water and waited to feel the tell tale movement of water that indicated a fish was near her paw. "I live far from here with my mate and a small group of very special cats." She called back to Koi. "We live in a dense forest. Our camp is in a clearing that is surrounded by the sweetest smelling flowers. A days walk in any direction will lead you to either caves filled with gems or a lake the goes as far as your eyes can see."

Koi watched her carefully. Somehow he felt that this type of hunt would require to much patience from Lily but he might could pull it off. "Special cats?" He asked curiously.
Lily was eating away but she perked her ears up also listening to the other cats answer.

She let out another round of laughter. "Very special cats indeed." She sighed. "One, Echosong, can sing to heal wounds. Another, Darkfire, he has wings like a hawk. Yet another, Frostcloud, has claws made of ice and she can freeze anything she sets her claws on." Suddenly the water near her paw rippled and she quickly lashed out at the movement. She hauled a rather large koi fish out of the water biting at it's gills.

Koi looked over at his sister who was obviously excited at the thought of special cats like these. He thought they sounded fascinating as well but he and Lily weren't like that. They were just them. He doubted cats that were not special would be welcome there.
Koi almost jumped as Winterstorm lashed out and caught the fish. She was so fast! "I am really going to have to practice that."

Dark silently sat in the shadows, though he didn't need to. Shasta couldn't see him anyway. But he was debating the merits of talking. He hesitantly padded toward the worker, trying to see if he could get the food away without her noticing. When he saw no way to do so, he quietly said. "Yah, I'm here." He sat down with a flop and a small dust cloud rolled around him. It was the only way anyone would know where he was. (Sorry for late reply.)

She took a bite before pushing the fish towards both Koi and Lily. "Would you two believe me if i said I lead my clan?" She smiled. "Someone as ordinary as I leads a group of misfit cats." She laughed a little more.
