Is Shadepelt and Heavystep shown as kits? so far most of your questions have already been answered before you ask them, so you might want to slow down a bit and take your time reading through. Rockfoot already said they are shown as Shadekit and Heavykit

Chapter 6: Checking the camp hadn't taken as long as Leopardfur had hoped, and she's trying to find things for Whitepaw to do. As they enter back into the camp, she says he can make sure the elders have fresh bedding. Whitepaw objects that it's an apprentice chore. She says he's still an apprentice, and he hadn't become a warrior yet. Whitepaw frowns and says that it'll take forever by himself. Leopardfur says he can ask Emberkit and Mosskit to help, to which Whitepaw mumbles they're kits. Leopardfur says they're going to be apprentices soon, and he can help show them what to do. Whitepaw's spirit seems to lighten up somewhat, and she figures it's because he can boss around some kits. As he goes to fetch the kits, she calls to make sure they don't leave camp, and he promises. As he trots away, she looks for any signs of Oakheart's patrol, but all she hears is the swishing of the river. Growing frustrated again, she wonders why Crookedstar and Oakheart seemed so insistent on not letting her join. She knows Crookedstar trusts her enough to lead a patrol, and wonders if perhaps Oakheart just doesn't like her. She looks to the medicine den, believing Mudfur might know. She had spent so much time with Whitepaw and Frogleap that she'd hardly spoken to her father. As she pops into the medicine den, she calls his name, and as she takes in the scents of herbs, she sorrowfully remembers that the last time she was in there was the last time she saw Sunfish.
Mudfur greets her, emerging from the shadows. He asks how Whitepaw's training is coming along. She says he's ready for his assessment. Mudfur can see something is bothering her, and asks what's wrong. Leopardfur meows she's just wondering what's going on at sunningrocks. Mudfur seems surprised that a patrol was sent there, and Leopardfur says that Crookedstar and Oakheart wanted to challenge ThunderClan. Mudfur deduces that she wanted to go. Leopardfur confirms, and that she's a strong warrior like everyone else. Mudfur mutters there's more to life than fighting over things, and Crookedstar needed warriors to guard the camp, beginning to strip reeds. Leopardfur protests that with what happened to Whitefang and Sunfish, she above most should go. Mudfur eyes her and says that she has lost a lot, but fighting is no way to grieve. Leopardfur snaps that she's finished grieving, and she wants to make ThunderClan sorry. Mudfur looks away from his herbs, and says that part of grieving is learning to leave things like this up to StarClan. Leopardfur hisses that he's not even a warrior. Mudfur only gazes at her, and says she's right, but he was one once, and now that he's a medicine cat, he understands there's more to life than battle, and claws and teeth aren't the only way to protect your Clan. He goes on, saying she's made the Clan stronger by training Whitepaw, and hunting for them every day, and what she could possibly need more than that. She drops his gaze, now feeling ashamed of herself. She mutters she just wants to be able to help her Clan, and not be ordinary. Mudfur replies there's nothing wrong with being ordinary, which Leopardfur wonders why he even bothered to tell her she was special when she was younger.
She asks if ThunderClan trying to take their land doesn't bother him, and Mudfur says it does, continuing back with his herbs. But he has nothing to worry about when he has brave warriors such as Leopardfur to help them. Hearing the sarcasm in his tone, Leopardfur gets angry and wonders if he was determined not to understand, and that he was treating her like a sulking kit. She wonders why her father was so stubborn and goes outside to sit, turning her tail on Mudfur and wanting her anger to fade away. Skyheart notices her and calls her name, asking if she wants to come fishing with her and Blackclaw, mentioning that Blackclaw spotted a big fish basking in some shade. Leopardfur declines, fuming. Skyheart is surprised, but then follows Blackclaw out of the camp. Emberkit and Mosskit are dragging some old bedding out of the elder's den, their pelts fluffed out proudly as Heavykit and Shadekit watch from the nursery. Heavykit asks why they can't help, and Lilystem wraps her tail around him and says they're too young. Shadekit glowers at Mosskit and says it's still not fair. Mosskit is trying to shoo Birdsong away, saying she doesn't have to help them. Emberkit darts back inside and brings out more old reeds. Dawnbright is washing outside the warrior's den, while Mallowtail and Voleclaw idly batter around a moss ball. Crookedstar sits at the edge of the clearing, his ears craning around as if he were expecting something. Leopardfur wonders what's happening at Sunningrocks, and wonders if ThunderClan would kill more of her Clanmates, thinking back to seeing Whitefang's bloodied body on the rocks. She gazes to Sunningrocks, and wonders how well Oakheart is doing. Her mind drifts to Frogleap, and how much he'd helped her with Whitepaw's training. She begins to worry if he'll be hurt, and realizes that she missed him.
Leopardfur suddenly feels self-conscious, and wonders if she has feelings for Frogleap. She pushes the thought away, as kits would slow her down and knows she hates the idea of the nursery. But still, she ponders if one day, she'd warm up to the idea, and if one day she wants to take a mate, if it could be Frogleap.
A screech of pain fills the air, alerting everyone. Leopardfur bounds up while Birdsong gathers Emberkit and Mosskit, who are frightened. The sound is coming from the river, and Leopardfur's thoughts immediately go to Whitepaw. She races in the direction of the screech, and sees Skyheart tugging at Blackclaw's scruff. Whitepaw arrives and asks if everything's okay. Relieved that he's alright, Leopardfur sees Blackclaw is stuck in the river. Skyheart screams that there's a pike, and it attacked Blackclaw. Leopardfur's heart lurches, wondering why in StarClan a pike has come so far up river. Blackclaw's hind leg is behind dragged into the water, and Blackclaw's eyes are wide with pain and terror as he struggles to find a grip on the ground. Skyheart is doing her best to prevent him from being pulled in. As Blackclaw thrashes, Leopardfur sees the pike splash in the water, and is alarmed at how big it is. Leopardfur begins attacking the pike, but it still holds onto Blackclaw. She dives under and tries slashing it, but it's tail hits her side and knocks the wind out of her, forcing her to go above the surface. She tries again, and then sees that Whitepaw has joined Skyheart in grabbing Blackclaw. As Leopardfur struggles to tackle the pike, Whitepaw leaps into the water and attacks the pike. Surprised, the pike eyes Whitepaw, and Leopardfur snarls that it won't touch him. The pike releases Blackclaw, and Skyheart heaves him onto the shore. The pike begins to circle Whitepaw, but Leopardfur grabs the pike and throws it around, feeling the pike's spike's jab at her pelt. Suddenly, the pike heaves itself away from Leopardfur and goes back into the water. Leopardfur scrambles onto the shore with Whitepaw dragging her scruff, and she notices the pike close it's jaws around a smaller pike in the river. Leopardfur is flabbergasted at not one, but two pikes being so far upriver. Skyheart calls Leopardfur's name, asking if she's okay. The large pike takes off with the smaller one.
Blackclaw groans beside Leopardfur. He tries to get up, but his hind leg hangs like limp, dead prey. Leopardfur says they need to get him to Mudfur. Skyheart nods, and she and Leopardfur help carry Blackclaw back to camp. As they arrive, Mudfur hears them calling his name and pops out of the den, his eyes widen with surprise. Leopardfur helps Skyheart to Mudfur's den, and then leaves, not wanting to crowd her father as he worked. Crookedstar also looks surprised, and rushes forward, asking what happened. Leopardfur explains Blackclaw was attacked by a pike, and how they chased it off and how it went after a smaller pike. Crookedstar looks bewildered, and frowns, saying it's rare for them to come this far upriver, and the larger one must have followed the smaller one. Skyheart emerges from the medicine den, trembling. Crookedstar asks how he is, and Skyheart says the wounds are deep, but Blackclaw will live. Skyheart says that Leopardfur saved Blackclaw, and remarks that she thought for sure that she would die when the second pike appeared. Leopardfur gets embarrassed, saying she only wanted to save Blackclaw, and adds that Whitepaw was brave too. Crookedstar's eyes glow and says they were both brave. He says he'll order the Clan not to fish in the river for a while, and they can hunt further upstream instead. As Crookedstar pads away, Leopardfur and Whitepaw spot a figure emerging from the camp entrance, and Leopardfur scents Frogleap.
Beetlenose limps into the camp, blood welling on his cheek. Leopardfur pads towards him, but Whitepaw bounds in front of her and stops in front of Beetlenose, asking what happened. Beetlenose glances behind him, grief sharpening his gaze as Mistyfoot and Loudbelly stagger into the camp. Across their shoulders is Oakheart, and they pad to the center of the camp and gently lay him down. Crookedstar sees them coming in, and a look of horror washes over his face as he sees Oakheart's body. He races to Oakheart, and wails that he's not breathing. He yowls for Mudfur, but Mudfur is already on his way.
Mistyfoot huskily mews that there was a battle, and ThunderClan killed him. Leopardfur feels her heart sink as she realizes that another warrior has been lost to ThunderClan, and stares at the dead deputy. Crookedstar can't take his gaze off from Oakheart. Mudfur leans close to Oakheart's body, and murmurs that he's gone. Crookedstar doesn't seem to acknowledge this, only staring at his body. Mudfur barks at Leopardfur to get cobwebs, but Leopardfur realizes that she can't see Frogleap anywhere. But then, he pads through the reed tunnel, and she rushes to meet him, murmuring she thought he was dead. Frogleap draws away from her, grunting he's fine, his eyes locked on Oakheart's body. Mallowtail hurries from Mudfur's den with herbs, and then Dawnbright says she'll help him, racing to his herb stock. Mudfur then asks Leopardfur to help Loudbelly into the medicine den. Whitepaw is helping Beetlenose there while Mistyfoot limps beside them. Crookedstar hasn't moved from beside Oakheart, his emerald eyes shimmering with silent grief. Mudfur tells Leopardfur he's going to need her help, as there's a lot of injuries to deal with. Leopardfur grunts she's not a medicine cat, helping Loudbelly move forward.
Mudfur mews curtly that one doesn't need to be a warrior to rub poultices into wounds, and the sooner the injuries get treated, the less chance of them getting infected. Frogleap starts to pad after them, but every step seems to cause him pain. Mudfur looks at Leopardfur and hisses that surely she can see how pointless fighting over Sunningrocks is. Leopardfur asks how it's pointless, and asks if their Clanmate's suffering means nothing. Mudfur's eyes flash angrily, and snarls that there's no glory in this. Leopardfur glares at him, asking how he could say such a thing while Oakheart's dead body lays in the middle of their camp, and Loudbelly can't seem to walk without help. She knows that while right now it might now be glorious, but giving up Sunningrocks surely wouldn't be. If anything, it means they should fight harder. RiverClan had now scarified three lives for Sunningrocks, and if they gave up now, then Whitefang, Sunfish, and now Oakheart would have died for nothing. She thinks that even Mudfur must realize that if they let these deaths go unpunished, then no RiverClan cat can truly call themselves a warrior.

Once again, RIP Oakheart. And poor Beetlenose. And okay, FrogxLeopard might become canon soon, though it's terrible to see how distant Leopardfur and Mudfur have become.

Holy cow, a pike attack! I actually mentioned on I think it was a server, a few days ago, that it would be cool if RiverClan had to face some new threats in their environment like electric eels and muskies (which are like pikes) so this is pretty cool! First duck hunting, now a pike attack, I am really liking this SE from what I've seen of the spoilers. I can understand now why Leopardstar didn't ask ThunderClan for help when the whole Tigerclaw thing was going down.

Interesting! Wonder who the father is. this is why i preferred my headcanon where grasswhisker is male and the mom of heavy and shade is skyheart who is brown tabby lke heavtstep...now they cant find a dad for them because riverclan has no dads (in my family trees, i always have to find suitable dads that make sense bc theres no canon dads for anyone). there's no brown tabby male to be heavystep's dad now. Not a tabby, but what about Loudbelly?

Mosspelt and Emberkit are the older litter and almost apprentices, while Heavystep and Shadepelt are the younger litter. I didn't mention it earlier, but Mosspelt is a super young mom. My best guess is that she became an apprentice during Into the Wild. and a warrior during Forest of Secrets. Still want to know who Emberkit is, though.
It's sad to see Leopardstar and Mudfur's relationship become so distant. And now Oakheart's dead and Beetlenose is injured. Also, Leopardstar does seem to like Frogleap which was hinted at back in chapter 2 when she was an apprentice. Clearly nothing comes of it.

Emberpaw and Mosspaw are now apprentices (I'm guessing they're littermates?). Their mentors are Owlfur and Ottersplash, respectively. Mosspaw is definitely Mosspelt.

Also if Kate does a Redtail's Debt I think everyone in the Warriors fandom would collectively have an aneurysm, lol.

Ugh, I hate that Leopardstar had to have a romantic interest. Thanks for ruining my entirely disinterested in romance aroace* Leopardstar headcanon, Warriors (I’ll probably still headcanon her as that anyway and just ignore Frogleap though).
Anyway, other than that, it seems good so far, and I’m enjoying reading through the summaries. Thanks for posting them, Rockfoot!
*I am aware not all aroaces are disinterested in romance, I’m just saying I would have preferred Leopardstar to be, to clarify.

Chapter 7 (I'm finding a lot of these chapters are rather...dense? There's a lot of things going on in them and it's taking me a bit longer to write my summaries, so sorry if I'm taking a little longer): As the night goes on for Oakheart's vigil, Leopardfur wonders that if she'd been allowed to join the battle patrol, Oakheart would still be alive, and they could have kept Sunningrocks. Whitepaw and Frogleap are crouched beside her. Crookedstar slowly gets up and signals to Rippleclaw, Cedarpelt, and Voleclaw to help him carry Oakheart out of the camp. Together, the four of them bring Oakheart's body to the other side of the river where Hailstar, Whitefang, and Sunfish are buried. Leopardfur realizes she must have dozed off for a while, as when she wakes, Whitepaw is taking a carp from the fresh-kill pile to the elders, while Frogleap stretches beside Leopardfur. She grumbles she should have been with them. Frogleap looks puzzled, asking if she meant the burial patrol. She says no, she means the battle patrol, and she could have prevented Oakheart from dying. Frogleap asks who would have saved Blackclaw then, gesturing to him as he sits beside Mistyfoot and Loudbelly. Mudfur is heading inside the den, and Leopardfur notes that he was slipping back and forth between the den and the other warriors, and barely got any sleep that night. She says that Whitepaw would be at camp, and he could have saved him. Frogleap is unconvinced, and asks if she really believes he could have done it by himself. Leopardfur insists Whitepaw would have done it, but Frogleap says that it was Leopardfur who stopped Blackclaw from being dragged in, and if she wasn't there, then Blackclaw would have likely died. He adds that it was good Crookedstar made her stay behind, because she saved a life. Leopardfur isn't convinced.
The whole Clan seems unsettled. Beetlenose shuffles uneasily outside the warriors' den, while Softwing stands with Dawnbright, her tail twitching. Owlfur and Ottersplash stand with their new apprentices, Emberpaw and Mosspaw. Frogleap mutters that he supposes they're wondering what to do without Oakheart ordering the morning patrols. Leopardfur swishes her tail and says they all need to stay busy. She pads up to Owlfur, and asks if she can secure their other border, and to take Reedtail and Piketooth with her. Owlfur nods, remarking that they can hunt while they're out, as their prey is almost empty. Leopardfur calls to Softwing, asking her to take a hunting patrol to the water meadow. Softwing agrees, and Beetlenose pads up to Leopardfur, saying he thinks he'll take a patrol out fishing. Leopardfur dips her head respectfully to him, and says the Clan will do better when they're not starving. Beetlenose bids her farewell and gathers Vixenleap, Grasswhisker, and Petaldust with him. Softwing gathers up Shimmerpelt, Sedgecreek, Dawnbright, and Mallowtail. Owlfur and Piketooth are already leaving, but they stop as the reed entrance shimmer, and Crookedstar appears, with Rippleclaw, Cedarpelt, and Voleclaw behind him.
Crookedstar's shoulders look heavy, and he moves slowly that gives away that he's still processing Oakheart's death. He solemnly looks up, and asks what they're doing, surprised by the patrols of cats. Beetlenose says that Leopardfur suggested they hunt, as the Clan is hungry. Crookedstar simply nods, and says she's right, but there's other things they need to accomplish first. He says they need to acknowledge the bravery of one of their own, looking at Whitepaw. Crookedstar beckons Whitepaw to follow him, and Crookedstar seems to have lightened up some. As the Clan gathers around Crookedstar, he commends Whitepaw for his bravery in helping Blackclaw, and how much he's heard from Leopardfur and Frogleap about him improving, he firmly believes that Whitepaw deserves a warrior name. Whitepaw is renamed Whiteclaw, and Leopardfur is the first to call out his name, and as she looks to the sky, she wonders if Sunfish is watching them. Crookedstar flicks his tail for silence, and somberly mews that RiverClan has lost it's deputy, looking towards where they've buried Oakheart, and says they will all miss Oakheart. He was smart, brave, and a loyal warrior to RiverClan. He says that Oakheart was his littermate, and he'll miss him greatly. Crookedstar's mew begins to tremble, and admits he feels a bit lost without him now, closing his eyes in grief. He goes on, saying that the cat he has in mind as proven themselves countless times over, and he looks to Leopardfur, declaring her as the next deputy. Leopardfur is taken back, and wonders if Crookedstar really means her. She realizes that every cat is looking at her, and Crookedstar genuinely means it. Crookedstar tells her that she proved herself by saving Blackclaw yesterday, and she had done it yet again by taking charge when the Clan seemed at a loss. Leopardfur sees Mudfur watching from the medicine den, and wonders if he's proud of her, but Mudfur is staring in surprise at Crookedstar.
Birdsong and Tanglewhisker mutter that she's rather young to be made deputy. Crookedstar looks at them and says that she's proven to him that she's ready, mentioning that although she wanted to go on the battle patrol for Sunningrocks, she stayed behind and saved Blackclaw. He says he wants a warrior who's youthfulness and desire to overcome every obstacle is something they need in the coming moons, and their leadership will ensure RiverClan's stability for many moons to come. He looks at Leopardfur, asking if she accepts. Leopardfur dips her head, and excitedly says yes. Frogleap is the first to yowl her name, followed by Whiteclaw, and then the Clan. Rippleclaw, Cedarpelt, and Piketooth share anxious glances. Leopardfur ignores them, but wonders where Mudfur is. She spots him slink back into his den, and as the cheering dies down, she starts heading to the medicine cat den. Frogleap stops her and congratulates her, and he's joined by Whiteclaw, who says she'll be an awesome deputy. She thanks them, but says she wants to speak to Mudfur. As she enters the den, Mistyfoot and Loudbelly are asleep, but Blackclaw blinks happily at her and greets her. Mudfur turns to her, stopping his herb sorting. He mews she must be pleased. She says she is, but for some reason, Mudfur's words claw at her heart. Mudfur beckons her outside, and she follows him. As they sit down together, she asks if he was at all happy for her. Mudfur takes a moment to answer, but meows that of course he is, and he's glad that Crookedstar thinks so highly of his daughter. He goes on, saying he always knew she was destined for great things, but then trails off. His hesitation frightens her, and she presses him to continue. Mudfur gently mews that Crookedstar is right in that she's determined and loyal, but tells her that she's judgmental and quick to anger, and a deputy and leader need to be able to keep their temper. Leopardfur's pelt begins to bristle as he begins to say he's not sure if she's ready. Leopardfur storms away, and thinks that while she knows Mudfur loves her, and he always has, it feels like her heart is being clawed at when her own father doesn't seem to believe in her as soon as she's starting to reach her dreams. She bounds out of the camp, wanting to find a quiet place to think, and wonders why he doesn't seem to believe in her, and why it's so hard for him to be happy for her.

Right so I'm reading through the chapter here and Leopardfur is angry at ThunderClan for the death of Oakheart. She wonders why they're not gloating about it and why they're seemingly so silent about it. I thought Mistyfoot said in Forest of Secrets that they knew he died from a rockfall? ... I really hope they didn't go by the Redtail's Debt canon. This book is about to become exponentially more entertaining.

Your chapter summaries are worth the wait! I'm agreeing with everyone saying I hope they don't go the Redtail's Debt route, I really will have an aneurysm like Sandypaw said. I am curious if this mysterious Emberpaw gets their warrior name, or if they get iced as an apprentice and if they end up being related to someone important. I now hope more than ever than Blackclaw is the father of Reedwhisker and Co. At first, I just liked the idea of Pikepaw being named after his grandfather, but maybe the pike attack can also be a part of how he got his name.

Is it bad that I honestly think the editors would 100% make the Erin’s keep using Clarissa Hutton’s Redtail’s Debt giant screwup timeline just to spite us

Ugh, I hate that Leopardstar had to have a romantic interest. Thanks for ruining my aroace Leopardstar headcanon, Warriors (I’ll probably still headcanon her as that anyway and just ignore Frogleap though). Well, she could still very well be ace while having romantic feelings for someone. I'm just glad it's not Tigerstar. Sorry for butting in and I hope this doesn't come across as rude, but I would also like to add that she could still be aro-spec and have romantic feelings for someone too (grayaromantic, demiromantic). She could also just be straight up aromantic and still want a romantic relationship/a QPR just without the romantic attraction. Not that I expect this kind of representation from this series or really care one way or the other, of course.
Edit: With that said, I do wish we could have more ace/aro/aroace characters in general from all parts of the spectrum represented in media. Especially since things like romantic love are generally held up on such a high pedestal.
