Here we are. c: I just went with the second plot if you don't mind.
(2) A small group of longtime friends decide to go hiking in the remote wilderness of Falls Creek National Park in Washington state. What they don't know is that they won't be alone in their endeavor. Something else lives in the mountains. (This plot would include horror, wendigos, and survival.)

Awesome!
Is there anything else you'd like to cover before we start? I don't have a preference regarding the gender of my character, really. As this is also a plot without A or B, we're good to go, unless I'm forgetting something.

Nah. Perhaps we could just figure out how many characters there are in the group? That and maybe create a very small/very simple character sheet for the main ones.
Did you want any sibling duos in this?

I'd imagine four or five would be a reasonable number. Four would be two and two, after all.
And yeah, I could see doing siblings, but the thing with that is that creating history for a family can be difficult. The best example I can think of (and this is partially avoided by making sheets) is one sibling saying "you're always so loud" to a rather quiet character because it hasn't been gone over yet.

Four sounds fair. I might have a few charries in mind, Loni and Ben. They're on the main page but I'll post them here.
Nah. I get what you're saying. If it's something you'd like to work at, I'd love to do it, but if you think it'd just be easier to do friends, that's cool too.

Loni Eleanora Simons20 | Female | whimsical & sweet Loni's a very imaginative, very active mind. To channel this energy, she pursues the sciences and art - often trying to expand her horizons through knowledge and creativity. Her attire has become something of a game as she tries to find a theme for each week and dress accordingly. Whether this be punk or romantic, she'll find a way. Because of her nature, she can be easily manipulated. She's naive and far too quick to trust.Faceclaim: Yasmin WijnaldumBenjamin "Ben" Howard Hughes29 | Male | ambitious & manipulativeFaceclaim: Gaspard Ulliel

Miles James Crowley 27 | Male | Sarcastic and passive-aggressive | Miles often takes the position as a leader of a group, even when people don't always want him to. He can be rather oblivious at times, or maybe he just doesn't care enough. His sense of humour tends to be a lot darker than others, but that never really stops him. His jokes may not always be the best, but he is the king of sarcasm. He doesn't really know when to stop. Ever.
I don't really have a face claim for either of these two, but he has darker tanned skin, brown eyes and long black hair. He usually wears his hair in a ponytail and has stubble from forgetting to shave.
Voss 21 |Female | Polite and sympathetic A slightly out of young German woman with long, curly red hair and blue eyes. Voss really tries to be helpful, but more often than not she's merely getting in the way. She can't ever seem to pick a side and all she wants is for everyone to get along.

[ Sorry for the absence. Alright. I'll add them to the first post.
Did you just want to start at the car they came here in? Like, everyone's meeting up and grabbing their things. That or we could start a short while before.
So they all basically know each other from college, childhood friends, etc.?

[[Don't worry about it!
And yeah, college or high school friends makes the most sense to me. Maybe this is them meeting up for the first time in a while? They decided they could go hiking to say hello again or something.
If we went with that, starting before getting in the car would make the most sense. That or everybody drives up in their own car. Otherwise, just unpacking works.]]

[ Perhaps they could meet up at a diner to catch a bite to eat before heading out. That would give everybody time to introduce themselves and catch up. This would make sense if it's been a while for all of them. We could then just have them park somewhere afterward and unpack. ]
