I am so royally screwed, Zazzy thought to herself, running down the street like a gazelle being chased by a lion. She growled in frustration, gritting her teeth, and swiped a few neon-colored hair strands from her face, damp with sweat from running so long and in such ridiculous shoes. Of course, Zazzy was never one of the, ah, average girls, per se. With stilletto heels made from solid steel with padding on the inside, steel bracelets layered on her wrists, ripped up fishnets under a pair of tiny black shorts, and a backless crop top(halter style neck tie and two strips of fabric tying around her back from the bottoms corners of the front), she new she would get strange looks.
But why, oh why, did a vampire pick her out from the crowd?!
With another low, feral growl, she clenched her teeth together behind parted, blood-red painted lips. Her eyes, masked by neon purple contacts and surrounded by thick, black makeup, were stone-cold with determination to get away fro the monster chasing her. Her steel heels clipped the ground with an annoying ringing sound, and she knew one misplaced foot could easily break her ankle. Zazzy was never one to doubt herself, though, so she pressed onwards.
Her lithe, lean body was tense, her muscles on her curvy form flexing as she raced ahead. Her hair - dyed black but with large strips of neon red and blue - whipped behind her, making Zazzy wish she had put her hair up. She couldn't afford to slow down and do it though, so she just kept running. And running. And running.
But alas, not even Zazzy could leap a ten foot wall. She had curved into an ally, hoping it would take her through. No such luck. Now she was trapped by three walls and a vampire. She whipped around and took up a fighting stance, hatred glowing in her neon violet eyes. Long black nails filed into sharp points glistened in the faint light cast by the moon, but the light was blocked by a cloud. Now blind, Zazzy knew her chance of escape was minimal.
She relaxed her fighting stance, letting her hands rest on her hips. She felt more than heard the vampire slink towards her carefully, trying to sneak, and she rolled her eyes. "You know, it's kinda obvious you're there. You just chased me for a mile and some, and I heard your footsteps behind me. You need to work on your stealth," She said casually, her Spanish accept clipped and sharp.
