Okay so for one of my classes, I have to give a speech about an artifact that means something to me and bring in the artifact. But like, I can't think of anything that I have in my dorm that means a lot to me? SO tell me what artifact(s) you have that mean a lot to you? I'm curious and hoping this will help me think of things.

My stuffed snow leopard, Dianna. I got her at build a bear back in 2006, when I was 7 years old. She's going to be 10 years old on September 1. She means a lot to me, and I still remember going out to make her with my grandma and aunt. This picture isn't her, but this is what she looks like.

My plastic semi-mechanical (it makes loud noises, "breathes fire", and flaps her wings) toy dragon by the name of Sharptooth. She was my first ever dragon toy and the thought of ever parting with her physically hurts me. I've had her for about 14 years, now.

I can't choose between my Infinity on High copy (I bought it a while ago and it's my absolute favourite album), my toy dog I got well over ten years ago, and my Panic! At The Disco flag I got when I went to my first concert.

I have an old crystal inkwell, complete with an intricate wrought iron frame. My grandmother picked it up at a flea market, pawn shop, something like that. The bottom of the frame is stamped with a patent code and says "1879." I was dubious at first, thinking it was some sort of modern replica, but nope-- it's genuinely 137 years old. My grandmother gave it to me as an early christmas present last year, and my brother got me a beautiful blown-glass fountain pen & ink.
I love old things, and I had always wanted a fountain pen, so it was the perfect gift to me. I have a handful of other important treasures, but that one is the most interesting.
EDIT: I found a picture.

My Hinata doll. I got her at a convention when I was five, and she inspired me to make a stuffed animal collection. To this day I have around 20 stuffed animals.

I have a small tobacco box full of memorabilia from my Papaw. He passed almost two years ago so the box means a lot to me. That and a ring I got for my 13th birthday. It's from my Maw and Paw.

my first teddies one is a bunny wearing a t-shirt which says ''welcome to the world'' on it. i was given her on the day i was born, so she's existed 14 years now. and another white teddy with a dress given to me shortly after my birth by my grandma, and this little dog teddy called Pippin. ok so i have a lot of meaningful stuffed animals.
and these fairy objects my grandma used to give me
also just pics in frames and albums of my family and pets - many of which have now passed on.
i also have these things like those troll objects and they hold meaning to me because i used to love them so much and they were the things id play with when i had no one else.
and these collectible animal figures and my first books
ok final one (this is the last one i swear) - i had this little white mouse toy and i loved him so much but then one day i lost him at school when i was young and some other kid stole him bc that always happens when you drop & lose something D:< i cried for days and still get upset about it now

A white and gray stripped blanket. The stripes are in a zig-zag pattern, and it is the softest thing in the world. My boyfriend of three years gave it to me as a Christmas present two years ago. It means literally so much to me that I get mad if anyone else even touches because I'm very paranoid it'll get dirty or something. I have many mental issues, possession issues being one of them...so when I have a breakdown I jump on my bed and just wrap myself up in that blanket and I feel so much better. It's such great comfort and security for me when I can't actually see my bf, but with that blanket it's kind of like he's there anyway when I need him.

My late grandfather's WWII sword. He chose to serve over in Asia during the war and he really wanted to earn enough points to get that sword. So he survived many dangers and horrific sights to get that sword, he was shot at and even hit. I inherited it after his death and whenever I look at it, it reminds me of his courage to fight and of his stubbornness and determination to never give up. See, I never knew of him as anything but a sweet gentle man, so it makes me realize that everyone has far more to them than just what you see. Everyone has a past that lead them to the point they met you at.
