Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Endeavor. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.
"We won't make peace with them! Not now, not ever!"
This was the last straw. Neither species seemed to be yielding no matter what promises he made for them. He'd offered both spots in the Federation, several old gifts that the FSS Endeavor had acquired (though he didn't tell them the gifts were from his own starship,) and also promises of trade and longstanding peace.
It seemed neither wanted anything but to argue to him.
"Listen, you frog looking ball of slime, this is the last chance you get! If your two planets don't make peace, you're going to destroy each other! Do you think you can go on testing them like this!" he shouted back at the Emporer of the Simili. He could see that the Emporer was very surprised by his outburst; the Ba'ku were a calm and peaceful species. Eejin straightened his uniform, cleared his throat, and added, calmly, "I'll be back this afternoon to collect the panel's final decision. How you advise them is your choice, but I advise you to urge peace, for your own sake." Then, he turned and left without waiting for another word from the Emporer.
Xhon 5, it sure was beautiful. Most of the crew was taking a break out and about the planet while he and his counselor had to do all this negotiating. The south, away from the city, was filled with marshes. The city, grand with its buildings made all of glass, reflecting the sunlight to all the glass buildings around them, was also entrancing. What Eejin found the most amazing, though, was the large starship that was docked near the edge of said city: the FSS Endeavor.
As he walked towards the vessel, admiring the way the light from the glass buildings dazzled the exterior, he noticed dark forms flying towards the planet.
"Oh, ****," he swore, frozen where he stood. One of the black ships separated from the fleet, heading right towards the large starship docked near the city… and firing. Before it jerked and turned around quickly, the damage was done. The starship hadn't had any shields on as itd been docked. The engines were ruined, burning from what he could see, and some of the wings were damaged as well. He whipped out his communication. "Mattie, was anyone on the ship?" he hissed, still in disbelief.
They were stranded, he realized, until the ship could be fixed. They were stranded, and the Thesulans had just declared war.
It was going to be a wild ride.

Eijin
Male Ba'ku Thirty-six Demisexual
When he was young, he heard many stories of the USS Enterprise saving his planet. So naturally, he made an oath when he was ten to join the Starfleet and become a commanding officer on his own. Many years later, he has achieved that, though it hasn't been a breeze. Moving from Ba'ku, he had to learn a whole new written language, and he had to learn a lot about technology. He doesn't take for granted what he's earned; although he comes from pacifist origins, he should not be underestimated. Years of being taken for granted has hardened him; he's very strict, but he also has a big heart. He cares deeply for the well-being of his crew. He could yell at someone for drinking on the job then turn right around and tell them what a great job they did the last day. He sometimes has too big of a heart, as he is still gullible even today and always sees fighting as a last-resort option.

Thelin Arizhen
Male Andorian Thirty-two Heterosexual
Born on Andor but raised aboard Starfleet ships, Thelin was a shoo-in for the Academy. In typical Andorian fashion, he is fiery, and has little patience for incompetence. Thelin is passionate about his work and loyal, sometimes beyond logic, to his commanding officers. His complexion is a blue-green colour, being that he is half Aenar. Influenced by styles of the Sol system, he could almost pass for human, if he weren't, well, blue. Thelin keeps an immaculate appearance, platinum hair always coiffed and uniform pressed to Starfleet standards. The model officer, as far as looks go; Thelin's temper often causes him trouble, especially on diplomatic missions.

Ammet Brandt
Male Human Thirty-four Heterosexual
Ammet is a jovial and easygoing man who tends to keep to himself down in engineering. He is somewhat hyperactive and has lot of thoughts going through his head at once. This can make him seem spacey at times and a little eccentric, as his train of thought is very fast and he can make weird leaps in reasoning that confuse other people. He probably has some kind of hyperactivity disorder, because he has to be doing something with his hands at all times and finds it hard to sit still or wait for anything. However he is undiagnosed and so no one will ever know if it is an actual problem or just his personal preference. Ammet hails from a long line of ethnic Germans; his first language was German and he prefers to speak it. As it is he is really only able to speak the language to himself, which he does most of the time. When he speaks English he has a very strong accent and can struggle with more advanced vocabulary. As a worker he is very efficient and knows nearly everything about the Endeavour’s systems. The ship is his baby, as much as his actual children on Earth are. He has two kids from a previous marriage whom he adores and misses, but whom he has no custody over.

Mathilde "Mattie" RouxFemale Human Twenty-seven Pansexual
Mathilde is a recovering alcoholic, the kind of impulsive, rambunctious party-girl that starfleet would never hire. Yet, here she is. Mattie is, despite her less-than-civil tendencies, incredibly intelligent and adept at her work. She makes a joke out of most things- including the crew's safety -but will always come through in the end. Well, most of the time. Sometimes you might just find her napping someplace away from people. She would not describe herself as particularly social, seeming unnecessarily bitter towards others. Of course, she secretly cares about everyone, willing to pull recklessly brave moves to keep her people alive. Mattie, if you couldn't tell from the name, hails from a French family of Earth, speaking with a vague accent.

Helmsman
Mawr'Iz
Mawr'Iz
Male Paroditian Thirty-five Bisexual
Whilst Maurice may look human, the man has a distinguishing feature that somewhat kicks him out of that gene pool. It isn't that his eyes sometimes seem to have a red liquid flowing in his irises, well, mostly. Maurice is from a distant planet, which relies on residue and potentially radioactive atom compositions to survive. Whilst that may seem immensely unstable for one ship, Maurice is always seen with a variant of a collar around his neck. This collar, forever being upgraded by yours truly, helps create a field around him so that he never becomes harmful or unstable; whilst giving him speech, as his species relies on telepathic communication. Rude, insensitive and downright sarcastic, Maurice really doesn't have time for people he doesn't like. He does, however, respect and tolerate the people he does like, mind you. He likes being the smartest being in the room, and revels in being with beings who also enjoy an intelligent conversation. First impressions are something he holds dear, making his assumptions about a being based on how he first sees them. However, he takes a long time warming up to someone; pushing them away with his morbid and sadistic ways. He knows the difference between good and evil, but he doesn't swing towards one way or the other; instead, he is the casual walker of the world of grey. Using this to his advantage, one could see him as the open-minded one when it comes to being attacked. Despite his usual demeanor, he is a very polite and casual bat; keeping his friends as close as he can like a prospective mother hen. He holds his pride close, but lets his ego flare if he is questioned. He also has a brief sense of camaraderie; shown mostly with his crew or select others. Neither an optimist not a pessimist, he refuses to test fate by announcing possibilities and instead keeps his fears and speculations to himself. However, he can read people's emotions very easily due to his need to see and not say anything.
