I think Darktail. He was the biggest threat to the clans in a while and is backstory was interesting. He had one of the highest kill counts of any villain and also one of the most unsettling personalities (until of course Ashfur came along in TBC)

Probably Tigerstar. A generic villain, but 9 year old me was screaming at the TPB books bc of how cruel he was in the last two books at that arc XD

While I was reading Fire and Ice, I though about some cool evil stuff that can happen in the world of Warriors (I've only known the world for a day back then) and Tigerstar did some of these things. He was overall a great villain for our introduction to the world and I don't think any villain matched the standard he set.

Tigerstar and Sol. Tigerstar is dramatic and murderous. Sol has the POWER OF PUBLIC SPEECH! (So does Tigerstar)

Tigerstar. He was the OG villain, and I like that his origin was in the clan. He became a straight up dictator and did some messed up shit when he took over RiverClan and essentially held a half-clan witch trial.
The other villains can’t even compare. Ashfur who

Ashfur wins because of how scary real he is imo. A Tigerstar or Darktail isn't as common as those like Ashfur.

The following sentence can be applied to the majority of my favorite things in this series:
He was great in Po3, but I really don't like him in TBC.
(in this case Ashfur. Ashfur was my favorite villain pretty much until Lost Stars came out)

Someone could be bitter and threaten you or your loved ones because they have a grudge, but it's a lot less likely that they'll possess your dead husband, act as mayor of your hometown, and then try to arrest your children. Despite the prophecy stuff, PoT was a lot more...human? realistic? than a lot of the other arcs, and Ashfur as a villain shows that. Putting him into a supernatural horror based arc forces him to lose that.

ashfur is the only one here who held any intimidation factor for me lol. as for the rest, some of these guys are generic and some are just... complete jokes.

Ashfur was my favorite villain until his confirmation in The Broken Code. I simply don't like how his character has been executed to pretty much be some type of Darktail-clone. Bramblestar being possessed is honestly a cool idea, and I got chills while reading about it, but in all reality Ashfur was more of an insane villain who did things when the moment to do so arrived. I was sad upon finding out he was the villain, and I don't think it should have been him due to it being too predictable and just an excuse to bring it back.
I love Ashfur, don't get me wrong! But it's hard for me to match these up with his old character arc. Plus it makes StarClan look dumb and incompetent, which they already do with some of the stuff they've done in the past.
Ashfur was an amazing villain because he was unpredictable in the past. Everyone knew he was hurt but nobody knew the hurt made his mind go insane, turning him into the shell of the tom he was in the past. What made him such a good villain is that nobodu expected him to come out of the flames and try burning The Three alive, nor did many expect him to have been the one to help Hawkfrost set up the trap. After gaining the knowledge of the identity of The Three's parents, Ashfur was even more unpredictable to the point where Hollyleaf had to kill him. He was intimidating due to that, which made him to be a good villain. He pretty much jumped at the opportunity to extract revenge, rather than plotted it, which meant at any time he could have lashed out, which makes it a shame he didn't live longer.
The fact StarClan accepted him and he's still a villain annoys me. I get that StarClan is supposed to have ties to religion and forgiveness, but if a cat still has evil intent shouldn't they directly end up in the Dark Forest, or as a ghost cat? Mapleshade's angry spirit is what made her go there, so if Ashfur was truly evil I think he should've automatically gone there too. Mudclaw got to go to StarClan because pain and injustice made him lash out but he wasn't truly evil, so I had assumed that was why Ashfur went there too, because I had thought that meant there was no ill-intent in their hearts anymore and they were sorry for what they did.
I dunno. The way StarClan is combined with Ashfur's new sneering demeanor makes me not like him as much as I used to.

Sol, I think villains who use words are pretty cool. Yeah Warriors definitely doesn't have a lot of those lol.
Sol doesn't use claws, he uses words and manipulation to sway his foes. The rest of the cats are written as killers if they're a villain, pretty much.
