i dont like tigerheart, so i've never read his SE, but i've read up on the gurdian cats on the wiki and i really like them, and the idea of them. i dont think it's worth it to buy the SE just to skip to the parts where we see the guardian cats, so i wont be doing that (so dont tell me to read the book for myself because i know i wont like it).
do you like the guardian cats? i think they're super cool in concept, and i like the characters i've read up on on the wiki. i wish they could get a spin off series of some kind (manga or mini book series).

Love. The Idea of some Rogues or Loners (Besides Tree) not being hostile or manipulative (Sol) is a nice one and a sight for sore eyes since they are doing it out of pure helpfulness and generosity, not selfishness and hypercapitalism

I love them, and they were easily the best part of Tigerheart's Shadow.

They’re better than the Sisters You shouldn’t not read books just cause you don’t like the featured character, the plot might actually be really good and you will miss out on it, also, your opinion on them could change, or maybe the book strongly ties into the arc or what will happen next in Warriors and you’ll be confused when that happens cause you won’t know the backstory nah. i do fine reading summaries and character pages on the wiki. idk why people dont like it when i mention that i do that? the summaries on the wiki are pretty good if you ask me.

I LOVE The Guardian cats! They were all so nice and helpful, they were accepting of everyone, probably my favorite group outside of the clans.

I wonder who voted for Hate? I personally like them. They seem to be the best and only good thing about Tigerheart's Shadow.

I liked them, they were a very nice group. 10/10 would join, not those dumb Sisters.

A whole group of gentle healers was my thing back then, as I had a fondness for those sorts of cats. They were helpful and took in whoever sickly came across them and treated everyone equally instead of going on a hierarchy. Also I really loved Fierce. It was nice to see a disabled character outside Crookedjaw be a leader to something instead of shoved off. I think the only bad thing they had as a group was that the cats aren't super distinguishable in personality themselves outside Fierce, Spire, and Blaze and the rest don't stand out. But I'd still join them ANY day over the Sisters that's for sure.
I liked them until clan territory shit was forced into their routine by Tigerheart complaining about them and having things go his way regarding them or otherwise they're "lesser" because xenophobia. I didn't hate them when that happened tho, moreso I hate that eventually they caved to some stranger's demands to change their ways when that's not something they do. It was the Tribe cats all over again tbh. They aren't fighters, they're healers damnnit. They're not supposed to chase away outsiders, their duty as Guardian cats is to literally ACCEPT and take care of outsiders! By adopting the clan cats xenophobia, the Guardian cats are the opposite of what they are. And the only reason that was accomplished is because clan cats MUST be right. Man, I would've loved if the opposite was true for once. The only outsider groups with a name to them I can think of that is tolerable (That means NOT the Sisters) and NOT falling down to the demands of clan cats are the Cats of the Park. Not to mention they'll never be seen again as a group, so they're pretty much left on a sour note as far as my opinion on them goes. I liked them for what they were, but Tigerheart pretty much messed that up.

They're probably the main reason why I wanted to read Tigerheart's Shadow. Easily the best part of the book. The group was so much better than the Sisters. But I hated that Tigerheart wanted to change them.

I just feel like skipping an entire SE just cuz you don’t like the character is going a little too far/an overdo and sorta unfair not really. if i dont want to read about them, then i dont have to. it's nothing bad or anything lol super editions are supposed to be extras completely extant for the readers' enjoyment separately to the main arcs-- or at least they used to be. theyre made to look deeper at one character in particular. it makes complete sense not to read one if you have no interest.
