i'm hoping to create some of my own music this year and i'd love to find a good DAW program for recording/mixing/editing my stuff. i'd like it to be - free - good for beginners - runs on Windows - support VST (virtual studio technology) plugins (tbh i could probably use one without this just for starting out but it would be great)
i've already done a bit of research but there's tons of free DAWs to choose from and i was wondering if any of you wcf kids had anything to say about it bc i trust you more than the general internet population

audiotool tbh it's the only one i've messed with but it has a bunch of tutorials and the graphics for it are p sick tbh. honestly i haven't touched it /that/ much yet but it was what was recommended to me and there are no other replies on this thread yet so that's my 0.02¢ o:
disclaimers: it's browser based (still has nearly as many features as a paid daw tho) and i have 0 idea at the moment if it's vst compatible
