So not sure if this is in the right place or naw but I'm really down for some angsty romance one x one stuff right now. It won't necessarily be long term unless you guys want to make it that way but I'm not looking for something complicated that'll take much planning. I've got a good hour or so to roleplay right now but I'm not sure how long after that (my parents turn off the wifi at night) I'm chill with role-playing any gender, as well as mxm, fxm, or fxf for romance. If you've got a nice plot or something hit me up but if not I'm in a slice of life kind of mood, nothing fancy.

someone said angsty romance? I'm claiming. alright, heh So what kind of roleplay were you thinking? I was thinking something simple, like maybe our characters already start out dating but One of them moves away type of deal And its maybe like an angsty long-distance relationship thing If thats okay with you

That could work, I'd be willing to.
slowly dying or amnesia works too?
Um...what else...forbidden somthing perhaps.
Just wanna figure all the possibilities.

Right. I like the terminal illness idea. Hm, we could also try maybe one of them just had a relative die or similar, so they don't get to see eachother much anymore?

Or it could be leaving for college across the country. Or we could go a supernatural route and one of them dies(I'm actually watching the acorpse Bride right now)
Which idea do you like the most? I don't have much a preference myself.

I like the idea of a supernatural route. One of them dies and their ghost is kind of haunting them, but the character that's still alive kind of wants to move on.
Struggling with the fact that theyre incorporeal and stuff. It could be pretty interesting.

Yup. You wanna do that? One person plays the dead person, another the haunted, and maybe the first person plays another love interest?

Alright, cool. Id be interested in playing the dead person if you're chill with that. Should we start with maybe the night that they die?

Sure...perhaps with them saying goodbye and going for a walk andgetting murdered?
Also, genders? I'm okay with any pairings, though I usually play guys, fyi. So a fxf pairing is unlikely.

Alright, sound good. Tbh I'm in the mood for a nonbinary for some reason so if you wanted to be male it's fine with me, anything could work, really. And then maybe the secondary love interest female ?

Second one could be male or female or whatever, I don't care.
I think I know what character I'll use. Would you like to start?

Alrighty.
Cameryn walked, hand in hand with their lover. "It's getting late, we might want to go our separate ways." They commented, looking up at the darkening skies. "I'll text you when I get home! Like always." They smiled, releasing his hand and backing up a step or two. "Love you! Bye!" They turned to leave, looking back and waving one last time. I stayed out longer than I should've... I'll have to take a shortcut home, I guess. They thought, turning down a path that wasn't quite familiar to them yet. A figure appeared before them, and they started skirting to the side of them, giving a muffled apology. Pain seared their back, and before they could even yell, it stopped, and they saw their corpse slide to the ground. What? I have to go back! I have to tell him! But as they hurried down the path, unburdened by their mortal body, they realized he was nowhere to be found. He already went home...I guess I'll have to follow him. They moved as fast as they could, catching up to him quickly. He seemed disturbed by something, but didn't even seem to acknowledge their presence. Could he even see them?

"Love you too!" Jasper watched Cameryn leave, and waved his final goodbye to them, before spinning around with a little flourish to face the direction of his own home, sticking his hands in his pockets. He tried whistling as he walked, but it only came out a soundless blowing. He'd never gotten the hang of that particular skill. Oh well, there were lots of other things he could do. Whistling just wasn't one of them. He continued sauntering down the street for a fair while.
It was a summer evening, and warm, but why was the breeze so cold? He reached up to the back of his neck, feeling the goosebumps there. Weird...Jasper lookd around furtively. It was perfectly normal. Was that just the first chill of fall? He continued on his way back home, moving a little more quickly now.

Cameryn drifted after him, disconcerted. Would there be any way to communicate with him now? Now that they thought of it, there weren't many ghost sightings in this area, and well, a lot of dead people. They hoped there'd be something they could do. Jasper was pretty easy to keep up with, now that they were just a spirit, so they decided to do some experimenting on the world around them as they walked.
They drifted over to a nearby streetlight, brushing their 'hand' along it. It seemed they could touch things. They drifted back to Jasper, unnerved. Though they could feel things, they doubted they'd be able to manipulate the world around them in any ways. Cameryn felt uncomfortable, hoping that they could find a way to make it clear to him that they were still around. That they were okay.
They weren't exactly known for their resourcefulness.
