I am down for Alex being the getaway driver. Are we set with the party robbery being the first stone we find?
(also I am totally hearing the soundtrack for Ocean's 11 and I'm loving it)

So we have the order, the locations, the leader.... maybe we should come up with different forms the stones could be in? Like one could just be a plain stone, another part of a statue, etc. If they're jewels we could turn one into a nice pair of earrings.

Yes to all of that...again. Poor Avani would defiently try to keep everyone calm and help control the situation only to get overwhelmed with everything. Poor lady tries her hardest, but ultimately can't control her friends.
Also cool! I can add that to my reply. It's also 2am here, so I'll get my post up tomorrow. I was having a little writer's block, but I think I can finally write with this in mind.

I think the party heist should defiantly entail a piece of fine jewelry. Whether we want that to be a necklace or earrings or anything else, I think it would be better if we go all out for the first one. The others could be less elaborate like the museum having a piece just in display within a statue or chunk of rock. XD Figure the dragon would probably want something shinier for his piece. We can play with it as we go. I was thinking about how the most non-confrontational character has the first very confrontational heist. XD Poor Avani is right. She just wants to get it and get out but everyone is just having a grand ole time ruining the night. XD

Oh that would be really fun. Maybe it could be in the middle of a huge lake or something and that's where underwater structures can come into play?

That would be awesome! A little island would be so much fun and would make sense in the context of the world. Sanctum is suppose to be the place of peace and having it separated form the rest of the territories would be great!

I love that! Maybe it could have been preserved on behalf of a historical society or something? I think that would work. Maybe the ancient ruins could be integrated throughout the city, kinda like how in Rome they have the Colosseum and St Peter's Basilica? So perhaps some are ancient structures, others are sites of a battle ground, etc.

Should we say that the ancient architecture was basically a fusion of Greek and Roman styles and the current stuff is medieval or Gothic? also if the buildings are made of wood then we could burn them more easily, if we want to destroy a city or something
We could essentially have technology fused with medieval or Gothic styles in the main city. That's essentially what I'm trying and failing, lol to say.

Don't want to clog up the main page with questions, but I'm redoing Avani's character thing and remembered the bit of lore I had on halos. As a refresher, basically the halos could form both a shield and weapon made of solid light basically, but it took energy from the user whenever they were summoned. It was a piece of lore I like, but I'm fine with keeping it in or scraping the idea. Just wanted to see everyone's thoughts on it.

Finished Avani's updated character thing
Avani has dark tan skin scattered with patches of freckles. She has dark, curly brown hair that appears almost black depending on the lighting. She keeps it just below her shoulders and has both sides and the back of her head shaved underneath. Avani is rather tall, standing at a little over 6'5''. That coupled with her musclar build makes for a rather imposing and intimidating figure. Her blue-gray eyes are usually bright and tend to be one of the first things people notice about her beyond her stature. A set of large, light gray wings sprout from her back like ash, the tips nearly reaching to her ankles. She keeps her halo around her wrist like a bracelet. It's golden and has various angelic symbols etched into the metal. Like most angels, she tends to wear sleeveless or short-sleeved tops with some sort of open back to fit her wings. The clothes tend to be comfortable, but form fitting enough to avoid drag during flight. Though she doesn't get cold easily, Avani always has some sort of cloak with her just in case she needs it. She carries a staff made of oak around with her for protection and whenever she can't use her spear.
Despite her intimidating appearence, Avani is rather friendly and sweet. She tends to have an open mind and enjoys talking to people as she's rather talkative. She's the the type of person who usually starts a conversation, even if that person doesn't want to speak. She's bad at reading people, so she tends to just chat away even if there's protest. Avani likes to questions things and tends to be very curious. Her philosophical side comes through often as she let's her mind wander. She enjoys looking at things from all angles, even if she doesn't agree with or believe in the line of thinking. This helps her keep an open mind as she tries to understand the inner workings of the world. Of course it also causes her to step on a few toes as she's usually oblivious to people's reaction. Her energetic nature doesn't help this either. She likes to move around and explore, which often gets her into trouble. That coupled with a bit of over-confidence makes for a less than ideal combination. Despite her energy and confidence, Avani is quite patient. Almost too patient and even diplomatic with people who don't deserve it. It takes a lot to set her off, but when she does get mad she becomes rather threatening and intimidating.
Like most angels, Avani can fly due to her wings. She's not the quickest flyer out their due to her sturdy build, but she's a strong one and can fly longer than many of her smaller peers. Avani also has the use of Lux magic. Although she's not the most skilled magic-user out there, she knows how to both heal and manipulate light good enough if she's in a pinch. None of those skills are as impressive as her ability to fight. Training in many fighting styles since her youth, the angel can be a formidable opponent. She learned everything from sparring to sword fighting, though her ability to use a spear or staff are most impressive. She would be fighting to deal with. That is if she was constantly concerned with hurting someone. Even when she's not training Avani will hold herself back because of this.

So I had an idea about the magic system. We already have a a pretty solid outline of the different magic types and their abilities/uses, but I was wondering if we should look at how they interact more. On the old RP, the monsters all had weaknesses, and I was wondering if we should do something similar with the magics. Perhaps each type of magic is strong and weak against another type. Something along the lines of:
Belua: Strong to Anima, weak to Stygian Vis: Strong to Lux, weak to Anima Lux: Strong to Stygian, weak to Vis Stygian: Strong to Belua, weak to Lux Anima: Strong to Vis, weak to Belua (but this one is kind of iffy and can vary)
So, basically, belua users would be more susceptible to and affected by stygian magic than other types. Anima magic would be less effective on belua users, etc.
It doesn’t have to be that straightforward, but you get the gist.
Also, if anyone’s curious as to my reasoning for that list:
Belua: Since Stygian magic is generally about taking/negating/manipulating the magic of other living beings, it would make sense that belua users would suffer the most damage from Infernals because their magic is internal. I figured Anima would be the opposite because it’s more about influencing “free” (or maybe suspended?) magic and Belua users have learned how to control their magic so would be less vulnerable to it.
Vis: Again, Anima magic is mainly about manipulating external magic to do various things. Since Vis is the most abundant and “natural” magic, it’s more affected by its “base” being messed with. Vis is strong to Lux simply because it’s the “earthly” magic and this works week to counteract the more supernatural quality of Lux. If that makes sense...
Lux: With the whole life and healing aspect of it, Lux makes the most sense as a repellant of Stygian magic. I could kind of see it go the other way too though, so maybe this is a sort of weird case they’re both strong and weak against each other. As I mentioned earlier, lux is weak to magic because they deal in different realms and Vis creates a “grounding effect,” I guess.
Stygian: Already mostly covered it at this point, but Stygian is very much a “take” sort of magic. It feeds of other magic types to gain power, but is also able to manipulate or weaken other living creatures’ magic, hence Belua being especially weak to it. Lux, having essentially the opposite abilities, counteracts it well.
Anima: The most confusing to deal with since it’s basically the raw, non-specific type of magic and has few limits. My thought was that Vis would be the most affected simply by virtue of being the least controlled. All of the other types of magic are present, but mostly latent, in their natural state. The Families have just learned how to wield them. Vis is the exception because Elementals have only external control of it, it’s not an inherent part of them. So, Amina magic can more easily take control of its base than other magic types. Anima is weak to Belua, however, because it is only internal and almost solely controlled by the user.
Apologies if that was all kind of confusing and convoluted, but I was just spit-balling. Obviously, if you have other ideas or clarifications, feel free to share and let me know what you guys think.

Not confusing or convoluted at all. I really like the thought that went into all this and I like how logical it all is. When it comes to lux and stygian magics, I would imagine it would depend on the strength on the user to see who would beat out who. Probably what you meant anyway, but just wanted to add my own thoughts.

I was just going to put the gist of the RP a less spoilery summary of the the plot, I just wasn't sure how to word it and kind of forgot about it.
Also, I am working on a Lilah response, this one's just taking forever for some reason.
Also also, I know we talked about opening this up to more people. I was thinking maybe after a a few days or so we could see how we feel? I'm fine with it either way, but I just wanted to check if you guys wanted to bring in some fresh people or if it'd be easier not to, so just let me know how you all feel

I think I'm fine with whatever choice now, but I think waiting a few days to see how we feel is a good call. With that that said, I would be worried about plot inclusion. The main focus is the prophecy and the five characters who are at the center of it (though I know we briefly discussed that could change to include more people) and I would be worried about cluttering things up or making it overly complicated.

Given how active everyone's been, I'm fine with not opening it up to more people. That said, I'd also be happy to let on a few more if you guys are cool with it. aka i am indecisive That said, I agree that it would be best to wait a bit.
If we don't want to do a particularly spoilery about section or whatever, ehm.... idk. I really don't have many good ideas. i really don't have ideas, in other words We could possibly combine the about section with another one? I'm not sure. Is there anything else that hasn't yet been included in the page?

I’m fine with waiting to see. I think everyone is pretty active which would eliminate the need for more people. Just depend on how it goes in the future. Also, the About section can be scrapped if we just don’t want to deal with it! The sections were place holders and were meant to be looked through anyway! We don’t have to have all those sections.

I'm fine with waiting a bit longer than, and as long as you're all happy, I'm good with it just being us too.
The about section probably isn't necessary since we all planned everything out together, I guess I just the cohesion and organization of things like that. It's not a big deal to me if we get rid of it. I just never knew what to put there that wasn't just a repeat of what's been said.

On a completely different note, here is my description for Lucrecia Zebrowska (yes, I changed her last name). It is a work in progress, I just figured it might be easier for Amber if I had a description of Lu floating around somewhere. Also, this is an adjusted version of a character from another RP, so there might be a few minor inconsistencies that I did not edit out. If so, please let me know. (:
Whenever Lucrecia Zebrowska walks into a room, she is frustratingly good at flying under the radar. Perhaps it is down to her short stature, a full four feet and eleven inches, or perhaps it is her tendency towards being excessively quiet when it is unnecessary. Whatever the case, Lucrecia is small but does her best to hide her obvious height. Aside from her prominent round nose, Lucrecia’s features are delicate and, well, small. Her skin is pale, her eyes are dark brown, and her hair long and brown and prone to tangles. Overall, Lucrecia is plain. She is not pretty or ugly, just plain.
Normally it would be Lucrecia’s height, or lack thereof, that made her stand out. However, it appears as if nature had a different idea. Lucrecia’s defining characteristic, although not in her eyes, is her incomplete left leg. She was born with only the thigh, everything from the knee down being completely missing. It was not much of a problem for Lucrecia. She’s been that way ever since she was born, so why would it be? Lucrecia hates it being her defining quality, although everyone always seems to see it as such. She is the legless girl before she is Lucrecia.
While Lucrecia is known for being a bubbly person, that is not reflected in her choice of dress. The teenager carefully selects clothes to make her appear taller (high-waisted pants, skirts with short hems, a shoe with pointed toes and/or a slight heel, the works), but her sense of style is far more functional than fashionable. Lucrecia prefers to keep her palette simple, sticking to black for most of her wardrobe. No one ever notices stains on black fabric. On a rare day, Lucrecia ventures away from blacks towards neutral tones, but colors are always a no. That’s the thing about Lucrecia: she has a very regulated uniform. Her hair must be out of her face, preferably in a bun or ponytail, and her skin must be mostly covered.
Lucrecia can shift into a eurasian wren. In this form she is completely missing her left leg.

OK, y'all. Here's what I got. Feel free to pick it apart because I can edit! Territories and borders are color-coded for ease of understanding. If someone doesn't like the layout or the geography of the territory or would rather have certain landmarks, then let me know and I'll reupload! I followed the rough territory guide as best as I could, but some things got switched because of it. I know Lilah and Alex are currently in Infernal territory which means that Lilah would have had to cross the Elemental Territory to get there, but because Elemental and Infernal are pretty similar in geography, I decided to put them next to each other. I couldn't save everything because of the island in the center. The mountainous territories such as Heavenly and Shifter are further north and more expansive. The black-rimmed territory to the right and far-left past Heavenly (now that I'm looking, I didn't outline it. Oh well, will edit it later!) is not Naessia, but instead another nation. Sanctum is, of course, the island in the center.
