Which cats did your opinion of greatly change (either positively or negatively) based of their actions in Veil of Shadows? For me, I can say I hate Mistystar now.

Definitely Mistystar after pulling the stunt she did; she regressed.

Ashfur primarily, I already liked his character but after his incredible scenes in this book he landed a spot on my top-ten list of favourites. I thought that his personality was handled very well and I was so happy with the fact that this book had such a strong villain.
Also, obviously, I went from not caring about Mistystar to disliking her quite a bit after finishing VoS.

Berrynose. He started to go up when he joined with the rebellion but quickly went down again. Mistystar, too. She was awful in this book. Ashfur, he's actually a good villain now that the editors have accepted that he's not a good guy.

Mistystar, for obvious reasons, has gone down my list. On the bright side, I like Mothwing and Tigerhearstar more each TBC book.

Tigerstar has grown on me, especially after this book. Meanwhile, Mistystar is... oh boy. I really hope she gets replaced as leader soon, if she doesn't redeem herself first.

I'm not going to fault a character for the creator's mistake. Berrynose would never have done the things he did and I have a hard time believing Mistystar would, too. It feels more of those time where they just pull whatever crap on these characters just to get the plot moving or to create drama

As far as they're concerned, Mistystar is Graystripe's daughter lmao I find it more plausible that it's just another addition to the sea of character inconsistencies and OOCness

Did Mistystar even HAVE a character to begin with? She's always been painfully bland. I for one quite enjoy her more now, at least now she's not a boring cut-out standing next to the other leaders. Of course, I dislike her actions, but from an audience perspective she's more entertaining.
