I should also note that I'm not thrilled about another one of Firestar's kin (Spotfur is his great grandchild) getting a form of leadership/all the focus. Stemleaf is from a different lineage which is why I prefer him to live

Stemleaf is from Thornclaw and Graystripe lineages. It's different, and I really like him as a character (I also hope they don't force him with Bristlefrost)

I like him too, he's really nice AND he's related to Brackenfur, which is a plus

Yes! And I especially wanna see what's up with Juniperclaw. He was actually misguided, not evil, and it was interesting to see Alderheart feel sorry for how distorted his morals were. Cats like that are very intriguing to me. Same! I think that he was so afraid of ShadowClan going under again, and maybe he saw SkyClan as a threat or something? I'm not saying that his actions are justified, but I think that he thinks he had a valid reason for doing it. Yeah. Blackfoot might've done something like that too. If you think about it. It just seems like he would do something around the lines of that to help his Clan.

I think Juniperclaw is a very unselfish cat if you think about it. He still went and saw Sleekwhisker, and helped her out, even though he wasn't supposed to, and it was wrong, but it showed he still cared about his sister. Then, he went and died saving the lives of Shadowkit, Violetshine, and her unborn kits. I don't think he was that smart, but he was pretty selfless ...but only to the cats he cared about, which seems to be very typical for ShadowClan cats.

Juniperclaw did indeed show that he cared for his sister. The way he looked horrified that he was reprimanded for trying to poison SkyClan showed that he genuinely didn't think his actions were messed up. He only realized after how horrible it was. But he redeemed himself. Even SkyClan grieved when he saved Shadowkit.

There's a scene in Tigerheart's Shadow, where he shows that he doesn't really use his head much..I forgot what it was though, it was at the beginning of the book. I'm not saying he's stupid, because he's not, but he doesn't really think about the consequences of things. I guess he could be classified as an in the moment thinker or whatever.

After Stemleaf rejects her, Bristlefrost pays more attention to Spotfur and starts to admire her. I don't believe the text explicitly calls them friends, but in The Silent Thaw, they appear to get along. I know in Lost Stars Bristlefrost was pretty jealous of her (funny, Spotfur is also Bristlefrost's aunt) but she grew to admire and respect her as a loyal ThunderClan warrior and understands why Stemleaf likes her. Spotfur was mad at Bristlefrost when she told the impostor of when she and Lionblaze crossed the WindClan border and Spotfur got punished, but I think they've at least reconciled when both of them learned that Bramblestar was an impostor.
