This is Woollytail, he looks almost just like my cat Tony! He just needs some white on his face, then he'd be a twin. Here's Tony for reference Anyway, Woollytail was WindClan's buffest tunneler, who appeared in Tallstar's Revenge. He became Tallstar's step-dad like a week after his best friend Sandgorse died. However, he did seem to help pull Palebird out of her depression, because she seemed like a much happier cat after they got together, so maybe it was a good thing, that he got with his best friend's mate. What are your thoughts on this guy?

I can't help but find it strange that he took his best friend's mate after his friend died. Other than that, he seems like a cool guy. But I didn't read Tallstar's Revenge yet, so I have yet to have more of an opinion of him.

Sorry if I spoiled anything for you, this is just one of those books that I've assumed everyone has read

WindClan is pretty fun to read about, nothing beats ShadowClan though...I LOVEEE reading books that take place in ShadowClan. Anyway, I loved the tunneling aspect in Tallstar's Revenge, it was probably my favorite thing in that book, after it was gone, my interest kind of waned.

I think that made them a bit more unique rather than just being great runners.

I love your kitty! Tony is such a funny name for a cat. Man, I miss my kitty.
Also, I don't know anything about Woollytail - but his tail doesn't seem very woolly to me.

Palebird didn't seem to find joy at all in her former relationship with Sandgorse. This might be an off theory, but im wondering if he possibly abused her?
I was really hoping for scenes of Woollytail and Talltail bonding, but it never happened. But then again I would feel uncomfortable too if my father's homie got with my mother too.

Sandgorse is a good guy. He was a little overbearing with Tallkit/paw, and he went a little overboard when Tallpaw told Heatherstar about the tunnel flooding, or whatever, but he does not seem like the abuser type to me. Maybe the death of Finchkit caused a strain in their relationship, in a lot of movies, couples who lose children, end up getting a divorce, I guess because they can't cope or something. I really don't see Sandgorse being an abusive mate..wouldn't they have mentioned it if he was? Plus, if Sandgorse was abusive, why would Tallstar think so highly of him, as well as all of his other clanmates?

I wish Woolytail had a big, fluffy tail :c That'd be cute Aren't WindClan cats like known for their short fur though? That's why they decided to make Sedgewhisker, Thistleheart, and Swallowtail half-clan, I think, to explain Thistleheart's thistly fur

I feel like I judged Woollytail too harshly because of how he became mates with Palebird. (Their whole mateship bothered me, and I still can't get over my dislike of Palebird.) But I do think Woollytail was a good cat. His anger at not getting an apprentice was understandable and he seemed like he wanted to be there for Tallpaw/tail.
I do imagine him with curly fur though, or maybe some stray tufts linger than the rest of his pelt. His name is super cute. I wish "Wool" and "Woolly" were used more.

Yeah, I was kind of WTH at him becoming mates with Palebird, before his best friend was even cold in the ground. I felt bad for all the tunnelers during Heatherstar's reign, even before Sandgorse died, she CLEARLY favored the moor-runners. That would be cute Like an American Wirehair..they're short and solid like tunnelers lol
