Poofwhisker || North Camp Clearing
"I have some important information for you all." Poofwhisker began with a slow tone. The morning brought cold temperatures of the upcoming leaf-bare. Which made the Camp Watcher's bones ache as well. "Due to Foreststar's decision, which I am sure all of you have heard about, I have decided that North Camp will officially be closing its camp walls." Before any other cat could respond, Poofwhisker began to meow loudly again. "I just cannot risk the health of any of my warriors. Especially with leaf-bare coming up. Closing our walls will mean that we wont be attending any ForestClan activities, even gatherings, and Runners wont be allowed to enter our camp. It will also mean that we must only hunt near North Camp and away from any other camps. I hope I have made myself clear." Once Poofwhisker was finished, she padded towards the fresh-kill pile and plucked a plump squirrel from the hole and headed back into the warmth of her den.

North Camp
Shadefrost stood in shock. There was no way she could do this! He didnt agree with Foreststar either but isnt Clan leader's word the law? What was happening?

East Camp
Ambermoon stood quietly. Letting her clanmates settle, she spoke. "East Camp will be closing its wall and borders until further notice. This os the cause of Foreststar's decision, which I am sure has already reached many ears. Runners may not enter our camp and we will not communicate nor speak with Forestclan directly if at all. We may only hunt within East Camp territory but, this is what we've been forced to do." She paused to inhale a breath "We cannot risk our warriors health and our camp's safety to those rogues any longer."

North Camp
Darkclaw swished his tail. As much as he hated Foreststar's idea, he couldn't agree to Poofwhisker's plan. What if Foreststar insisted on attacking the rogues anyway, even if he didn't have enough warriors? Poofwhisker had spoken to Ambermoon last night so it was probably safe to assume that East Camp would close its borders as well. With two camps not participating, would the others even stand a chance? Darkclaw hoped that Foreststar would call off the attack. If he didn't, the plan of the two Camp Watchers would make things even worse. And if they closed of their camps Darkclaw couldn't even warn his sister about it. Adderheart belonged to West Camp, after all. He walked over to Shadefrost, who didn't look too happy about this either. "I'm not doing it," he whispered. "I can't. Just what is Poofwhisker thinking?"
East Camp
Scorchmask simply nodded at Ambermoons announcement. Maybe Foreststar would change his mind when one of the camps closed its borders. There wouldn't be enough warriors for the planned attack. Surely Foreststar wouldn't be stupid enough to lead the remaining warriors against the rogues.
Rainpaw stared at Ambermoon in shock. She couldn't be serious about this. They would be betraying the majority of the clan if they closed their borders. What if one of the other camps was in trouble? With an almost pleading look he turned to Olivenose. "She can't do that, can she?"
With a growl Silverstorm jumped to his paws. "So you're banishing us from EastCamp?" Most of the runners were settled here. They could spend the nights at any camp they wanted but it still felt like being send away from home. Still, he could see why Ambermoon would make such a decision. "Fine. But tell me one more thing. Is North Camp in on this too?" It only made sense. "And since we won't be allowed here from now on, is there something you want us to tell the other camps? Maybe a message for Foreststar?" He couldn't quite help it, at the last question he grinned a little. "How about: East Camp will open its borders again once you start acting like a leader."

North Camp
Shadefrost raged silently as Darkclaw stalked over to him. "She really must be losing her grip if this is her reaction," he growled in response to the similarly angry warrior. "Fernwish just got her warrior name; what example is she setting for young cats like that?" Poofwhisker was a great warrior he knew and she was respect across the Clan, but this was a large misstep in her judgement. His mind had a flashback to when Poofwhsiker stopped to talk to Ambermoon on their way back from the gathering last night. "East Camp must be doing the same thing," he realized out loud.
East Camp
Dawnfern turned to Silverstorm, glaring at the tom's suggestion. Even as apprentices, he always was a haughty and immature tom. "That's a terrible idea. What Ambermoon is doing is enough," she snarled at him, her fur bristling.

North CampDarkclaw nodded at this. "Probably. So that's two camps closed off." This could go wrong in so many ways, even if Foreststar changed his mind. And how would the other camps react? To make things even worse, the Mooncave and the place where the medicine cats grew their herbs were near Main Camp. Were Twilightpool, Olivenose and their apprentices still allowed to go there or were those areas off-limits too? "I get that Poofwhisker and Ambermoon want to do what's best for us but can't they see how short-sighted their plan is?"
East Camp
Silverstorm rolled his eyes. "It's true, though. I mean, if he completely disregards everyone's objections because he cares more about his authority then- wait, you're against this?" By 'this' he meant Ambermoon's plan. One look at the other cats told him that Dawnfern wasn't the only one. Oh well, they had to sort this out among themselves. As a runner he wasn't involved in this decision anyway. Still, he hoped the gathered cats would come to an agreement. And that they made the right choice. Whatever that 'right choice' was... He turned his attention back at Ambermoon again. "Okay, but seriously. Is there something the other camps should know? They'll find out soon enough about this but if you have any suggestions, warnings or well... anything for them, please tell us now."

North Camp
Shadefrost settled down on his injured leg, tired of standing for so long. The warrior was right- he made a point that Shadefrost hadnt even thought of. He turned back to Poofwhisker's den. He knew he had a loyalty to both Clan leader and his camp watcher but at the moment he didnt know which to choose.
East Camp
Dawnfern was ready to claw out the runner's muzzle. "Ambermoon said no runners here anyways," she muttered to herself. Silverstorm would have to go, giving the she-cat a break from his infuriating comments. "Let them find out on their own!" yowled Sprucetail who was sitting beside the hissing Dawnfern. "They are foolish to not understand the risk Foreststar wants to expose us to."

East Camp
"All of you calm yourselves. Silverstorm, for now, we are closing out borders. I hate to make you leave, but it's been settled this way. As for North Camp, they are with us too." she seemed hesitant to continue speaking, taking a moment to herself "Silverstorm, you do not have to tell them anything, but thank you for the offer." She couldn't help but smile just a bit at the toms questions and offhand comments. "We plan to tell Foreststar at the next gathering, but it's likely he will find out sooner rather than later. We may only hope this changes his mind."

East Camp
Silverstorm shot a glare at Sprucetail. Did he seriously believe the other camps deserved whatever fate Foreststar would lead them to just because they weren't fortunate enough to have a camp watcher who disagreed with their leader? Both West Camp and South Camp had cats who thought Foreststar was crazy. But before Silverstorm could voice his disgust for Sprucetail Ambermoon finally spoke. So North Camp really was in on this. He had expected as much. As for telling the other camps, he would have to think about that. They would find out on their own but if they knew Ambermoon's reasons, then maybe they would find the courage to go against Foreststar's orders, too. "Understood." Silverstorm dipped his head and turned towards the camp entrance. There was still so much time until the next gathering and at yesterday's gathering Foreststar had made it clear that he would lead an attack against the rogues in only a few days. So he would definitely find out before the next full moon. "Well, I hope this works out for you. For all of us. Good luck, Ambermoon," he meowed sincerely as he made his way out of East Camp.

East Camp Territory
Dreampaw launched forward, snatching the pigeon before the bird could even recognize the danger. As she stood up, with her catch in her jaws she noticed Silvestorm making his way from the East Camp, his face somber. Dreampaw didnt like that look on the normally cocky tom. "What's wrong, Silvestorm?" she asked, setting her kill down.

East Camp Territory
Silverstorm had been walking for only a short while when he spotted Dreampaw. The apprentice seemed to have no idea what was going on right now. Understandable, as she hasn't been there for Ambermoons announcement. "What isn't wrong these days?" he muttered, more to himself than to Dreampaw. With a quick nod at the bird she'd caught he said "You can keep that one. East Camp and North Camp have shut themselves off from the rest of the clan. You know, because of what Foreststar wants to do." He thought back to what Ambermoon had said. "We won't see them at any gatherings, they will only hunt within their territories and there won't be any communication between them and the rest of the clan. This also means: we can no longer enter East and North Camp." The more he told Dreampaw the less he liked the plan. He had meant it when he wished Ambermoon and the others good luck and success but he was also doubtful.

East Camp Territory
Dreampaw's eyes widened at Silvestorm's explanation. It was absurd what the leader was proposing she was sure but were cats so against it that they were willing to basically disobey their leader and close their walls? It didnt seem possible. "So what, are we going to tell the other camps then?"

East Camp Territory
Silverstorm wasn't quite sure on what the best course of action was. "They'll find out on their own and whether we tell them or not, they won't be happy with Ambermoon and Poofwhisker. Or any of their warriors." While not all of their warriors agreed with them it wouldn't really make a difference to the other camps. East Camp and North Camp would be seen as cowards, traitors even. But even that was better than allowing the rest of the clan to come up with crazy assumptions. If the clan didn't know for sure why Ambermoon and Poofwhisker were doing this... some cats might be crazy enough to think that the 'traitors' were siding with Nora's rogues. It was absurd but Silverstorm knew that anyone scared or angry enough could get the wildest ideas. Having finished his thought, he turned to Dreampaw again. "I think they should find out sooner rather than later. At least we can explain why this is happening. They can probably guess why but it's better if they know for sure. The last thing we need are a bunch of rumours about East and North Camp. It's bad enough as it is."

Dreampaw really couldnt believe what she was hearing. "Ok... I guess no sleeping over here for a little while, huh?" chuckling nervously as she looked around, her mind scattered at the rash decisions Ambermoon was taking.

East Camp
Ambermoon dismissed her clanmates, striding towards her den. If anyone had any questions or request's to leave, they could address her and ask or inform. She understood if her clanmates did agree (somehow) with their leader. Foreststar had led them to their new home and he'd been a good leader til now. She sighed, taking a seat in her nest with a long inhale. What a moon this would be.

(Huh. Pretty quiet here.)
East Camp Territory
"Pretty much. Same goes for North Camp. Ambermoon only banned us from camp but I guess we'd better not be seen on this territory for a while, too," meowed Silverstorm. "Don't forget your pigeon. Either share it with one of the other camps or eat it yourself." He looked in the direction where Main Camp was. Someone had to inform Foreststar and Silverstorm was not looking forward to the leader's reaction. Then he looked back at Dreampaw. He didn't really want any of the runner apprentices near Foreststar right now. While a few of them were almost ready to become fully acknowledged runners they shouldn't have to face their leader's anger just yet. "So to which camp will you move for now, Dreampaw?" he asked.
North Camp
Darkclaw followed Shadefrost's gaze, towards Poofwhisker's den. The warrior seemed uncertain about something. But then again all of them were torn between their loyalty to Foreststar and their loyalty to Poofwhisker. It wouldn't be an easy choice and maybe there was no right answer. "I wish we knew what would be best for the clan right now," he murmured. "We can't predict what Foreststar will do." Right now he doubted their leader and their camp watcher were willing to listen to anything they had to say. But both Foreststar and Poofwhisker needed to know how badly thought out their plans were. They were endangering the entire clan. The leader's word was law, and a camp watcher had to be obeyed and respected, too. But that didn't mean their warriors or medicine cats shouldn't try to guide them towards something better. Because if they didn't even make an attempt, wouldn't they be just as responsible for anything that could result from their superiors' decisions? Darkclaw cast one more look at Shadefrost. Thinking about the right course of action was all well and good but if the warriors didn't even take care of themselves how were they supposed to take care of their clan? "Anyway, maybe you should go see Twilightpool first. You don't want to limp around forever, right?"
Rogue Camp
Jade was pacing around the clearing, angry at pretty much everything. Their last attack on the clancats had been a disaster and the she-cat felt like blaming everyone of the group, including herself. She had heard Snowcrest and Thorn arguing after they had all escaped from the clan's territory. Beaten by a warrior and two apprentices. Pathetic. And they hadn't even succeeded in killing the medicine cats. Bo, Gabe, Chirp, Muddy and Spots had been a disappointment, too. Jade was even angry at Ivonka, even though she had been doing so well against the leader of North Camp. But when Nora gave them the order to retreat Ivonka had obeyed all too willingly, apparently not even trying to take one more swipe at that clancat. Still, all that was nothing compared to Jade's anger at those who had attacked East Camp. She had heard about Timber being tricked into fleeing again. Why did that idiot have to be so superstitious and gullible? He had tried to explain it to the group. That one of those warriors had threatened to summon those 'StarClan-cats' and that Timber didn't want to take on a whole army of ghostcats. Jade hoped that Nora would come up with a new plan sooner rather than later. Those stupid clancats shouldn't get to gloat about their victory.
