For the people whose cats run away to join the clans in this series? Like, even the forest born ones, who were captured into new homes, like Sandynose or Graystripe

It IS My cat Bridget ran away like 5 years ago, and I still get sad over it Aw, I'm sorry. :c Thanks ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) I'm still really annoyed about the whole thing, my mother was standing with the front door WIDE open, and the cat ran out, and then, as we were trying to get her, a garbage truck drove by, and it scared her into going under a church that was across the street from us. A couple of days later, I managed to find her again, and I ALMOST had her back to the house, when she got scared because the dog started barking, and she bolted, and I never saw her again. She was a super sweet cat, but super super skittish This is her ![](https://i.imgur.com/ThLimO2.jpg) ![](https://i.imgur.com/HjRdPT0.jpg)

Yeah. I'm more of a dog person than a cat person, but if I had a cat who ran away (to join the Clans in the Warriors world), I'd feel upset. I even feel sorry for Firestar's owners; while Firestar did love his life in the wild, I imagine how hard it'd be for them to accept a loved pet having run away.

That's for warriors, not kittypets, who'd have twolegs to look after them

Yeah. My cat Smudge ran away a few years ago and I've never forgiven myself for letting it happen. Miss that little guy.

Yeah. I just try not to think about it.
I've lost two cats to the wild, an orange tabby named Krispy when I was a little kid, and a couple years ago, a gray mollie named Dawn. When we almost lost her brother, Sky, she would yowl for him every night, but when she disappeared, he didn't seem to care. It broke my heart. Since then, any time I write a story using cats I always have a Dawn and a Krispy in it to keep them alive in some way.

There are exceptions, like Petalnose, Sagekit, and Mintkit's owner, I don't feel bad for him at all
