Mosswhisker / Stonefall Falconwing
The brown queen's grey tinged fur stood puffy and on edge as Spidereye spoke. As the name Whiteember hit her, she was glad for the cat. StarClan, of course, had spoken, and there was little doubt in the queen's mind that they would test the clan at a time like this with an incapable leader. The bossy Mosswhisker liked Whiteember, a she-cat who was an excellent listener. "Yes," she turned to Stonefall in agreement. "She is young, but is not one to disregard the wisdom of others. That trait alone puts me at ease." Looking upon the white warrior, Mosswhisker felt an emotion that had been weighing on her for a long time finally lift. "I don't believe I fear for our kits' futures anymore," she voiced aloud to her mate.

*Gingerstep* The grumpy elder was even happy that there wasn’t going to be as much stress within the Clan. “Good job, Whiteember,” Gingerstep purred, forcing a smile on his face to show that he was happy for her and CreekClan.

Paleriver / Whiteember calliope
The tall senior warrior looked to the white she-cat beside him. Whiteember had been chosen by StarClan all along, and though the tom was judgmental by nature, he was relieved inside that the new leader would be a full CreekClan cat. Now, Paleriver looked forward to getting back to what he did very best, serving the code under a rightful leader. Listening to her confident words, the white tom couldn't help but feel anticipation for rebuilding the clan. Now, all they needed was a deputy, and his mind would be at ease knowing the structure of the clan was sturdy. Dipping his head to Whiteember, he meowed, "I congratulate you, Whiteember. Your leadership will be strong, I promise to support you faithfully. Thank StarClan for their wise decision."

*Moonshadow/ Gingerstep* “You look excited about Whiteember” Moonshadow whispered, coming up behind Gingerstep. “Just glad someone is leading our Clan other then our med,” Gingerstep mewed. Truthfully, the old tom thought it would be her, just kept his thoughts to himself.

Whiteemberjayfeather Falconwing StealthfireThe newly dubbed leader beamed brightly at the welcoming she was receiving from her clanmates. "Thank you," she mewed, once again, dipping her head to both Paleriver and Gingerstep. "All that's next is just finding the right deputy." As if her new leadership duties weren't hard enough, now she had to select a new deputy. StarClan help us! The white molly let out a small yet noticeable sigh. "I just hope StarClan gives me some idea of a deputy," she mewed, casting an upward glance with a silent prayer to fallen leader before her. Stagwatcher(Open)The brown Tom smiled as his friend was declared the next leader of CreekClan. She was his friend from apprenticeship and he always knew she would one day become a great mentor, but leader? Now that surprised him, but in a good way. Stagwatcher lowered his head as he approached Whiteember. "You'll make a good one!" He purred with a swish of his fluffy tail.

*Moonshadow* calliope Stealthfire Falconwing Moonshadow wondered who the deputy would be. StarClan had chosen a leader, but had they chosen a deputy yet? Either way, Whiteember would have to choose a deputy soon, so either Starclan was going to make a move soon, or Whiteember was going to choose for herself.

Spidereye watched as the clan began to accept their new leader and he finally felt a sliver of peace within his soul. Padding over to Whiteembee he stretched out his head and touched noses with her. "We can travel back to Skyhill in a couple days for you to receive your ninelives and the name of 'star. For now focus on the reorganization of the clan, and choosing a deputy. You have untill moonhigh to make your decision. So take the day ahead of us to determine who is best for the job." As more cats began to surround the white warrior, Spidereye took a step back to allow them closer.
Stonefall murmured in agreement with his mate. "They will have a wonderful future in Creekclan. I will make sure of it", he reassured willing to do whatever he needed to to secure a safe environment for his kits to be born and raised in. Giving Mosswhisker a quick lick on the cheek, he rose and padded over to Whiteember to congratulate her. Pushing his way through the crowd he reached the white shecat and dipped his head. "You will make a fine leader Whiteember, Mosswhisker and I always here for you if you need us. As senior warriors we have seen much and are happy to advise you on your journey as clan leader. Just remember to always trust your heart, and where Starclan has led you."

Gingerstep/ Moonshadow "You arent jealous of Whiteember, are you?" Gingerstep whispered. Moonshadow shook her head quickly. She may have been a bit though. "At least I still have a spot at deputy," Moonshadow whispered back. She knew she didn't though. After all, Whiteember didn't even know her too well, so why would she trust her to be her deputy?!

Silverscale raised her voice eagerly welcoming her peer to be her next clan leader. The silvery warrior has a great respect for Whiteember. In her early days as a warrior, Silverscale had been fishing once when she was set upon by a fox who had full intentions of filled his belly with her. Whiteember has been apart of her hunting party and was quick to rescue her and help chase the vile creature from Creekclans territory. Every since Silverscale has held a great amount of respect and gratitude for the white shecat. Turning to Moonshadow who sat next to her Silverscale purred, "With Whiteember being younger in moons there is a greater chance of us being chosen as her deputy. I wonder who she'll pick..". Tail curling in delight she stiffly turned due to her wounds and gazed once again at Whiteember happy for her friend. At a certain point she entertained the thought of becoming deputy. It was not in Silverscale to turn down such an esteemed position, but she personally hoped that she would be chosen. The last thibg her free spirit wanted was to be tied to such a mass about of duties to help the clan run smoothly.

Moonshadow started to slowly walk back to her den. Excitement was over. StarClan has made their leader choice. Now Whiteember would choose deputy. She wondered who, though. Maybe Silverscale? She was injured, but had a strong heart and thought that her and Whiteember were friends. Moonshadow shrugged, continuing to go back to her den.

Whiteember Open Whiteember thanked Stonefall. "I might just take you up on the offer!" She spoke. "I hope all is well with your family. Please tell Mosswhisker I said hello!" After spending a little more time with her eagar clanmates, the new leader decided it was best she reorganize her thoughts and prepare for her new responsibilities, starting with patrols and then to figure out the next deputy. Her mind was racing through all possibilities. She took a glance at the silver she-cat that she had basically been litter mates with. There's Silverscale.... But she's still recovering and I'd hate to put that responsibility on her... Her amber orbs scanned over to the older warriors. Maybe a senior warrior? She shook her head at the thought. No... The white molly let out a small huff of irritation as she retreated to what was now her den. The former leader's scent was fading. Grief pained Whiteember's heart. " I won't let you down," she whispered and began cleaning the den slowly. (Stagwatcher is open as well guys!)

Paleriver / Whiteember calliope
The white tom nodded approvingly at Whiteember's thanks and her reply to him, StarClan's guidance hopefully would indeed help the young she-cat, especially since they themselves had chosen her. As he watched the new leader slip away from the others, his mind couldn't help but feel a need to lend a shoulder to her, or at the very least make sure she didn't feel alone at a time like this, though of course she was bound to. He acknowledged his fellow warriors and Gingerstep before silently trailing behind his new leader to the leader's den. He shook his head as he saw her begin to clear the dusted over den. "Please tell me if you would prefer solitude at this time," he meowed calmly, "But I can only imagine the shock you're feeling." It bothered her that she would try to do such menial tasks still. "I can certainly round up some apprentice to make you a new nest and clear this place, there's no need for you to be troubling yourself," he said gently.

Mosswhisker / Stonefall
The brown queen smiled at her mate's agreement. Now, her changeable and anxious mind cleared, filling itself with bright visions of her third litter squeaking and tumbling through their camp, under the watchful gaze of the clan's warriors and their new proud leader. Her energetic paws begged to follow Stonefall as he left her to congratulate Whiteember. Her love for him was thankfully strong enough to overcome her jealousy at his ability to go where he liked, as quickly as he liked. Her kits were due so soon that she didn't think she could move from her spot. She smiled at Whiteember when the white she-cat mentioned her, and returned to eating her mouse. She would rest awhile, then save up the energy to go back to the nursery she knew so well.

Stagwatcher jayfeatherThe brown tom blinked his green orbs and gave a grin. " Hey Gingerstep!" He greeted, warmly. " Exciting news today, huh?" Stagwatcher had always enjoyed spending sometime with the elders. They always had that extra piece of wisdom, and let's not forget the stories they would tell. He licked his chest fur for a moment. " Have you eaten?" Whiteember StealthfireMentions: Hawkeyes258The white she-cat sat down for a second. It was obvious that the shock had set in a bit more. Her brow furrowed as she spoke, "I don't mind the company. I'm honestly just trying to wrap my head around everything. Cleaning up this den is just humbling, I suppose. Though I do need to be teaching Littlepaw more, but now that I'm the clan leader...." She sighed, tucking her tail around her paws. "I don't want to neglect some responsibilities for others. Just a new learning curve I suppose. " She cast a somber look to the warrior beside her as her tail twitched, nervously. "I want what's best for the clan. But I have my insecurities. I just have zero idea of where to start."

[Aww glad you think so, he's a good boy:) ]
Paleriver / Whiteember calliope The older tom nodded his head, glad he wasn't a nuisance. He listened patiently to her, settling himself to sit at the entrance facing her. When she had finished, he commented, "I am no leader, only a faithful warrior," he began. "But I always look to what the code can tell us for a starting point. You have always done your warrior duties well, so there's no reason you will have to choose which responsibilities to neglect. If a leader wasn't meant to mentor as well, the code would forbid it." He finished with the simplest thought he could formulate for such an intimidating prospect. "Continue to be a good warrior, and make the decisions you believe in for the order of the clan. I'll follow you as the code tells me." He wanted to step near to comfort her, but the orderly, strict tom felt as if a barrier of leadership stood between them now. He dared not treat Owlstar or Coldsnap like a fellow warrior, so he wouldn't presume to do so with Whiteember.

The older warrior's words provided comfort, though she found it it a bit odd he wasn't stepping closer. She took it upon herself to stand and move a bit closer until she was roughly a couple mouse-lengths away. " Thanks, Paleriver. That is some solid advice," she chortled, feeling a bit of tension lifted off of her. She quickly reiterates the words just spoken in her head. Almost immediately, Whiteember's eyes had a spark of determination in them. " You're right.. if StarClan chose me...It must be for a reason. I can handle this. I'm ready." The small pep talk gave the new leader the clarity she needed, and now, she contained a newfound fire to do the Clan, and those before her, proud. The white molly sauntered over to Paleriver, giving a quick lick to his shoulder. " Whitestar... Hmmm..Has nice ring to it." Laughter rung out through the den.

Silverscale had returned to eating while angling her ears to listen in on Gingerstep and Stagwatchers conversation. The two were merely a tail length away from where she crunched away at the remains of her fishy meal. Licking her lips she chimed in after hearing Gingersteps comment. "Yes, well who doesn't dream at one point about being clan leader. Its an admirable position. She shouldn't worry though, I trust Whiteember... or is it star yet.. to choose a good deputy. Maybe Moonshadow should take initiative to prove herself to Whiteember that she could make a good deputy."

Knowing that there were many duties that needed to be accomplished before the days end Stonefall left his mate to finish eating and padded over to the leaders den where he had seen Whiteember and Paleriver disappear. "Whiteember..?" He called out as he sat back on his haunches and waited for his new leader to appear or summon him to join them inside. It would be good for her to be the one to send off patrols and make sure that the training of the clans apprentices resumed. Not many patrols had been organized since the death of Owlstar and Coldsnap, and their borders needed to be secured before other predators moved into the area.

Spidereye had caught sight of Silverscale earlier and had made a mental note to re evaluate the progress of her wounds. Now that the meeting was over he was doing just that. Having just finished preparing a salve that would keep both the pain and infection at bay the black tom put it on a broad dock leaf, perfect to carry it with. Carefully picking up the wrapped leaf that held precious medicine, the tom left his den and went directly to the young silver warrior. He found her chatting it up with her fellow warriors as she finished eating was looked to be the last bits of a fish. "Im glad to see you have regained your appetite", he meowed as he approached and placed his package next to the shecat. "Don't mind me, I am just here to apply this salve to your wounds. I cant save your beautiful pelt from scars but I can help keep pain and infection away." With Silverscale blinking kindly back at him he began to apply the salve. "Well I was bound to loose my beauty at some point, I guess I prefer fearsome scars over an elders old dull pelt", she mewed with a chuckle trying to make light of thw situation.

Darksage had also retreated to the warriors den after the announcement of Whiteembers leadership. When Moonshadows form pushed its way into the den the dark dappled toms head raised and his ear flicked in a greeting. "Come to take a nap or escape the commotion?" The tom himself had come to the warriors den for the latter reason. He was not a fan of large crowds prefering smaller groups or simply another individual. With the shecats arrival he sat up to face her welcoming conversation.

Mosswhisker / Spidereye & Silverscale Falconwing
Mosswhisker, having finished her mouse and sat to digest awhile, spotted the black pelt of Spidereye. The queen was understanding, and knew he had been through much as of late to deliver StarClan's message to the clan. But, the queen was also assertive, and she knew her aching joints from the pressure her heavy weight placed upon her could probably be soothed if she asked politely enough. With a sigh, Mosswhisker reminded herself that this would likely be her last litter, as one more would mean she could likely not be youthful enough to return to warrior duties every again, and that was something she was not prepared to accept. She heaved herself over to the medicine cat, and meowed, "Spidereye, is there anything I could have for the aching in my joints? I promise I'll do nothing but lie down and rest all day if I could just have something to soothe them." Her activeness had been a problem when it came to proper rest for her health. Then, she spotted what the black tom was occupied with. The brown she-cat felt guilty, Silverscale's wounds were far more pressing than some wailing old queen's inability to walk when all she should be doing is lying down in the first place. She changed her tone to a much more motherly concern. "Silverscale, how have you been keeping?"

Paleriver / Whiteember calliope / Stonefall Falconwing
The silky white tom was pleased to hear his advice put her somewhat at ease. He wasn't one for emotional comfort, but the warrior figured supporting his leader would be the best way to serve her at this time. As she stepped closer, his mind left the leader's den and reminded him more of being next to her as the warrior she had been, on patrols, listening at a clan meeting, or as a denmate. "That's right," he repeated, "You are ready. As ready as I'm sure any leader could really be." At her lick of his shoulder, the collected tom felt pleased that she wasn't feeling the same distance that he had been. His character was so dependent upon being formal and dutiful, that her comfort, and her slight joke, caught him off guard. Paleriver felt a smile crack his face too.
At once, he heard Stonefall's familiar voice calling for Whiteember to emerge. Paleriver probably trusted his sister's mate most out of his clanmates, he was a no-nonsense warrior with an excellent sense of duty. The tom was glad to see him, for the sake of Whiteember immediately knowing the support she would have. Doubtless, Stonefall would be asking upon arranging a patrol, much to Paleriver's glad approval. He made himself visible to his fellow senior warrior, and stood by patiently to in case he would be needed to aid what would likely be Whiteember's first task.

Whiteember Falconwing StealthfireThe she-cat's eye crinkled with a smile, but as she went to say something else, she heard a familiar voice rang throughout the den. " Whiteember..?" Her amber orbs gave an almost longing look at Paleriver before she spoke, " Stonefall? Is that you? You may enter if you wish." Truth be told, Whiteember didn't think she would ever be used to her clanmates waiting for her approval to enter the den. She had spent countless nights side by side her fellow warriors, growing used to the snores and the movement. Now she had to sleep alone? The molly pushed the thoughts out of her head for the time being. She had more important matters to attend to. The white furred leader sat on her haunches with her tail flicking like a nervous tick as her fellow warrior came in. " Is everything alright, Stonefall?" Stagwatcher jayfeather"Who knows what'll happen," the brown tom grinned. "She could be the the next deputy. I doubt Whiteember would choose anyone too much older than her." Stagwatcher cast a green eyed glance towards his friend's new den. "She will make a fine leader don't you think?"

Spidereye was in the middle of applying the salve when Mosswhisker approaching asking for something for her aching joints. Instantly he had felt a twinge of guilt, it had been far too many days since he had tended to her in any way, especially in her advanced condition. "Ah Mosswhisker, I was planning to come find you right after I finished here", sadly at times the black tom thought more like a warrior instead of medicine cat. Hopefully the clan didn't suffer from his absent medical mind. Having first been a warrior, Spidereye at times found his job as a medicine cat very difficult. But he always tried his best, and thats what really mattered. Right??
As Spidereye finished applying the salve Silverscale looked up to see Mosswhisker waddling their way in seek of Spidereyes assistance. "It could have been worse, I'm just happy to still be alive. How are you fairing, it shouldn't be too much longer till you meet your precious bundles."
