I am starting to read this book. I hope I enjoy it and that it makes me feel some hardcore emotions like Tallstar's Revenge did

I really liked it It showed a lot of the cats in a new light, especially Clawface.

Hope you like it. Personally, it was one of my least favorite SEs for a ton of reasons.

Her powers... yeah, that sucks and I wish she didn't have it, doesn't bother me too much. I wonder why else you don't like it? I'm also curious for more insight in ShadowClan! I heard everyone, including Yellowfang's own mate were generally awful, but that makes me like it even more...? I like that, kind of gives me a GOT feel

I like that, kind of gives me a GOT feel Generally speaking, almost none of the characters were particularly likable (the supporting characters, at least), the inconsistencies annoy me more than usual in this book, and things such as Yellowfang's power were completely unnecessary along with this one specific prophecy that's fine in concept, but doesn't really make sense in context.

Oh, I can't wait to read about that I was shocked As for your other question, I found a lot of the characters in ShadowClan super likeable, in Tallstar's Revenge, Cedarstar and Stonetooth are seen as villains, but in Yellowfang's Secret, they're extremely nice. Hollyflower (Blackstar's mother) is shown to have a playful streak, Newtspeck (Littlecloud's mother, who killed Shrewclaw) is a little annoying that first, but there's a scene towards the end that makes her super likeable. The only ShadowClan cats that I really had a problem with in this book were Foxheart, Lizardstripe, Raggedpelt, and Brokenstar

I like books that make me feel heavy emotions It made me feel some emotions, which is saying stuff, because things rarely make me feel much emotion lol. I think out of the whole series, only Crowfeather's Trial and Yellowfang's Secret made me feel something other than anger (which is pretty much my default mood anyway) This one scene made me feel extreme anticipation like..omg, did they live? Did they die? I have to know! And then my question was answered in the following chapter lol
